Fishing a TINY Private Stream... I couldn't BELIEVE what happened! 😯
Ойын-сауық
I got Special Permission to fish an UNTOUCHED stretch of Farm Stream... and I hit that jackpot! What an incredible location, and some very exciting fast paced fishing. There's also big news about my website project too! Fishing these kinds of places is my favourite thing to do, you just never know what's going to happen. I love trout fishing at this time of year, it's probably my favourite way to fish, especially lure fishing for wild brown trout. Farm fishing at it's finest!

Places like this are great fun, thanks for the support!
Its better to fish up stream on those little rivers because otherwise you spook the fish as you walk down because they always face the current :) Makes a big difference! You should try it next time.

Just a little advice, when fishing for trout in small streams it’s best to wade and cast upstream because trout always feed facing upstream,by going upstream it’s much harder to spook them and you’ll get more bites
Good luck with the new web site. Enjoy your videos all the way from Australia.

The bottle is a vaccine bottle, injectable animal vaccines are supplied in these with a rubber seal to push the hypodermic needle through - disposal regulations are quite strict, so this one should not have ended up in the river. I will be fishing a stream and small river on the farm where I am now working, the stream has not been fished, and the river, very little so it will be interesting to see what lurks there as the river they feed into is well known for trout, sea trout and salmon (no course fish)
@adventurefishinguk

Thanks for the detailed reply I knew someone would know! What do you think the thing is inside it? Just rust? Someone else said an alumina bead. Where abouts is the farm you work on? I bet it’s full of trout!

@@adventurefishinguk It is hard to mthe conake out what the solid content is, but possibly congealed vaccine solids considering the rubber seal is still intact. I am now in Cornwall near Bude, hoping for some nice trout when I get a rod out.

All the best with the website George. I'm an exiled Northerner but fam live up in Poulton. I fish the Ribble at Milton bridge for trout / grayling when I can and have recognised a few of your vids. I have passed on your website details to a friend in NZ who was super impressed with the RNR rods . I'm looking at the spinning / fly combo. I see that the spinning reel comes with 2 spools. Does the fly reel also come with 2 ? An ideal rod for tiny streams but at from 5- 7 weight tip makes it quite flexible (although 2 tips taking it from 3-7 would be better...just a personal view...might have been too diff technically ) I've followed you n your vids for a few years now and thoroughly enjoy them...plus you seem like a decent , down to earth, not too up yerself sort of chap 😊 Wishing you all the very best. Hope all the long hours pay off

Thanks a lot for watching mate! The ribble is a great river isn’t it. The fly reel only comes with 1 spool actually. To be honest I’m not much of a fly angler myself, I’ve used the x5 for fly fishing but mostly I spin and bait fish with it. Definitely some compromise as it’s a multi piece multi purpose rod, but it’s an absolutely fantastic bit of kit you can take anywhere! Thanks for the support 👍
All the best George. Great video best of luck with web site.
