Fishing a TINY Private Stream... I couldn't BELIEVE what happened! 😯

Ойын-сауық

I got Special Permission to fish an UNTOUCHED stretch of Farm Stream... and I hit that jackpot! What an incredible location, and some very exciting fast paced fishing. There's also big news about my website project too! Fishing these kinds of places is my favourite thing to do, you just never know what's going to happen. I love trout fishing at this time of year, it's probably my favourite way to fish, especially lure fishing for wild brown trout. Farm fishing at it's finest!

    Its better to fish up stream on those little rivers because otherwise you spook the fish as you walk down because they always face the current :) Makes a big difference! You should try it next time.

    Just a little advice, when fishing for trout in small streams it’s best to wade and cast upstream because trout always feed facing upstream,by going upstream it’s much harder to spook them and you’ll get more bites

    The bottle is a vaccine bottle, injectable animal vaccines are supplied in these with a rubber seal to push the hypodermic needle through - disposal regulations are quite strict, so this one should not have ended up in the river. I will be fishing a stream and small river on the farm where I am now working, the stream has not been fished, and the river, very little so it will be interesting to see what lurks there as the river they feed into is well known for trout, sea trout and salmon (no course fish)

    All the best with the website George. I'm an exiled Northerner but fam live up in Poulton. I fish the Ribble at Milton bridge for trout / grayling when I can and have recognised a few of your vids. I have passed on your website details to a friend in NZ who was super impressed with the RNR rods . I'm looking at the spinning / fly combo. I see that the spinning reel comes with 2 spools. Does the fly reel also come with 2 ? An ideal rod for tiny streams but at from 5- 7 weight tip makes it quite flexible (although 2 tips taking it from 3-7 would be better...just a personal view...might have been too diff technically ) I've followed you n your vids for a few years now and thoroughly enjoy them...plus you seem like a decent , down to earth, not too up yerself sort of chap 😊 Wishing you all the very best. Hope all the long hours pay off

  • @adventurefishinguk

    @adventurefishinguk

    Thanks a lot for watching mate! The ribble is a great river isn’t it. The fly reel only comes with 1 spool actually. To be honest I’m not much of a fly angler myself, I’ve used the x5 for fly fishing but mostly I spin and bait fish with it. Definitely some compromise as it’s a multi piece multi purpose rod, but it’s an absolutely fantastic bit of kit you can take anywhere! Thanks for the support 👍

    I often go to the lakes and have been wanting to try the little streams for some time, I never thought there would be so many trout in them, can you advise a boat hire company for trolling for pike on windermere?? Also would a permit be required to fish the lake thanks, great video.

    Hi Andrew for the Fish rig 180 I would definitely suggest the RR1000 it’s the perfect size. I hope this helps and thank you very much for supporting the online store!

    Thanks for the reply I was actually looking at the x5 that comes with the rr3000 would u still recommend the rr1000 aswell? Also learnt that there a kendal based company whilst browsing... Free kendal mint cake with every purchase 😂😂 wishfull thinking

    @@andrewstocking5389 No problem! the X5 is a little bigger so the RR3000 or the 1000 work well. Funnily enough they used to do free mint cake! 😂
