Fishing a PIER with CUT BAIT for Whatever Bites!! (Unexpected Catch)
I take you guys with me to go fishing a new saltwater pier for whatever bites! This is my first time EVER fishing a pier at the outer banks in North Carolina! We explore and toss out some mullet and shrimp to see if anything is around! The next day we take the kayak out to do some inshore kayak fishing in the outer banks! There can be so many different fish that we could possibly catch in the saltwater and at a place like OBX! Will we catch our first fish at the outer banks? I didn't expect this to happen..
Again, I want to thank each and every one of you for the support! At the time of this upload we just passed 482,800 I'm having so much fun making these videos, lets keep this rolling!

Dont let the heavy winds discourage you. The biggest bull reds are caught on the points using cut finger mullet in super choppy water. The choppy water stirs up the bait and makes the best fishing in North Carolina. The time of the year your fishing is best time for the reds in the surf. Tight lines!

@FirstStateFishing use the bubble gum type shrimp baits with netting in them in OBX.
I've never heard of the outer banks so I had to look them up. What a awesome spot
Fun watching what fishing is like in new areas.
Let’s go! I love thw obx series!
It’s so nostalgic watching this video because I was just there a few months ago and got on some puppy drum and trout and a lot of lizard fish.

The first rig You showed is called a Pompano rig, which I have personally caught, Red Fish, Black Drum, Pompano, and Croaker with.
My only means of escape at the moment lol… I’m ready for this 🔥
Watching this again, just cause NC!!!!
Love the vids dude
Great fishing video
pufferfish are very common in nc near bays there are lots of them. Glad your enjoying nc!
Would love to peer fish. IDK why we don’t have them in the PNW. It’s mostly jetties only I think. But it looks fun!

@@INTHEOUT there are some great piers here in NorCal, halibut Striper perch and rockfish galore
Great job on this video and all the others, I went fishing yesterday and caught 2 sharks a flounder and blue fish
Just gotta say I'm jealous of the weather there lol. I landed me a nice blue cat today in 50 degrees in 10 mph wind. brrr but totally worth it! Great video bro!
Really hope you do some fly fishing in the west part of NC
Was just out there for the summer and got some big fish at that pier
Come down south just a little bit to topsail Island and fo to the surf city pier its full of fish including Speckled trout and black drum
If you are fishing for Red Drum use cut bait
You should use the toadfish rod and reel it is an fantastic rod and reel
Man your videos are awesome keep up the great work can you go fishing in Corpus Christi soon?
Most of the rentals are set up so they’d break the line if you catch something heavy, specifically to deter people fishing for sharks. That’s my experience at Bogue Inlet Pier, not sure about the one you’re at.
Very good
I spend ally of time down in obx go to a place called the point they catch nice drum from the wash out of there especially with bad winds
Bro when he said "Outer Banks" I just heard "Wicked Tuna: Outer Banks"
Black drum r good fish to eat
Come to Cape Cod Canal Massachusetts bro
Try fishing in rock port tx redfish bite insane
I know in a few places I've fished that look like that one of the best ways to catch a red or trout is live line a mullet out the back as you are floating on through casting a lure. No weight, just let the mullet swim free behind you. You'll get slammed hard that way at times and hook into some real monsters. Also works with shrimp although you'll have to babysit it a lot more and get smaller fish.
Atlantic Puffer Fish are good eating. They're non poisonous and aren't difficult to clean.
Les goooo
Letsss gooooo
Try the bridge near the Wrights brothers memorial there should be a place called the blue crab tavern I fish that bridge with cut bait and do good for drum
They're called drum in nc
Do you think you will do any fan meet ups???
Drop more catch and cooks. Ramen editions
Yo first state fishing, I live in Maryland so I’m not far from you. Fishing season has been tough this year but I just got to keep fishing 🎣
🤣🤣🤣 bro my cast netting technique is exactly like yours! I can get 1 out of every 7 throws is decent... I really don't know what I'm doing wrong!
Idk where you are in OBX but I live here and I think it's talked up a bit to much but maybe not good luck tho love the vids hope to see you soon ❤️👍🏼
try bouge inlet pier nc atlantic beach emerald isle area great pier
Go to High Cottons BBQ… you won’t be disappointed!!
The best fishing comes from the worst conditions
Just Saying, Usually for red fish and other Game fish High Tides are better because of more oxygen in the water.
In high tide read fish push up into places like where you where chasing bait fish can't wait for the day you come across big reds tailing after bait fish
Mullet being caught at Ramp 38 and Ramp 43. You can walk over at both locations. No need to take your truck on the beach at those 2 ramps.
I literally just got back from fishing in Delaware at garrison lake do you think you can try that place out I don’t catch any fish there but maybe you can

Dude i get that catching small fish is easy and more content, but try for something decent😂 quit throwing little pieces of chunked shrimp and get some live baits out, you’ll be surprised with your results when you don’t take the easy way out
what pier is this?
