Mountain Tree media on a string is an awesome idea. The bags end up collecting detritus on them and plug up the media too quickly. I have a Tidal 110, I put two sponges in there but not feeling the love with their matrix media. The Mountain Tree media looks like it will allow more flow and who wouldn't love the ability to supercharge it with their different types of media :)

I love your positivity! The pond looks great. Who cares if the waterfall isnt finished yet, its still stunning and a massive accomplishment. I would like to try the Mountain Tree media in my new South American cichlid tank. I have been growing them out in a 55 gal but I am picking up a 135 this weekend and I'm soooo excited!

Enjoy your videos and personality. I have a tank with 8 Turkana Jewel cichlids and I am running a Sicce hang on the back filter. I would like to use the mountain media in that tank. I am currently breeding a pair of the Turkana's in another tank and have 6 fry about a month old. I am trying to get the pair to breed again and get a larger batch, now that I know how to raise them. If you go to may channel you can see a short of the fry when they first hatched.

Oh not at all there’s so much bene bac in the aquarium with all the rocks substrate, sponge and glass!🤙🏽🤙🏽 all the tanks are well established

What does the females flowerhorn poop look like? I suggest separating her and medicating her. I'm sure you know how to do that if not. Put her in a 10 gallon with water from the aquarium add a sponge filter and research the symptoms to get the proper medication. Luv your videos brotha. Long time subscriber and viewer here

@@HaYNFishKeeper Mel as a long shot give her a swim in some Epsom Salts. You never know man. One problem with them is the're genitcally up against it. Their breeding is not the best sometimes. Hope all goes well with her Mate👍.

😢 I'm really concerned about your female flowerhorn. She's in trouble! There's a You Tuner "The Fish Doctor" ~ Dr. Richmond Loh. He's a certified Aquatic Veterinarian. I believe he's located in San Diego. See if you can locate him so he can help our precious little flower. She's always been my favorite ❤ keep us posted.
