this is the Hucho Hucho in latin, the Taimen is..... Hucho Taimen. :)

Congrats, what kind of gear were you using? I'm particularly interested in the fly line model

Not sure on the fly line model, was all the guide’s gear! More generally though was using a 12ft 12W rod.

Hi That’s a fantastic fish. Can I ask which river you caught it on. It looks similar to the Sava Bhohinka I totally agree with this species being a fish of 1000 casts
