That bloody great stingray was in that harbour 3 years ago when I stayed there. The people going out diving were in the water with it taking photos 😮

Looks like your at Los Gingantes, I stayed in the same hotel. The day before we got there, two people got washed out of the sea pool just below hotel and sadley a fisheman tried to help and all three drowned, some big surf down there. Also saw two huge Stingers in the harbour. Great video as always

Great video..those lizards are a nuisance...go down to Los Arbros to see the big stingers against the harbour wall..huuuuge..used to people feeding them..and the butterfly rays..Great fun..enjoy..oh..go to end of pier in Port st juan..catch the little bait fish..and cast them out for the barracuda..Great fun

Hi I think they are Lizard fish not weevers so fairly harmless but I could be wrong

Little tip lads. When unhooking them t bag stingers just put them on their back. No chance of getting poked ;)

Those harbour fish are called Lisas in Spanish, often eat all the rubbish thrown in so stay clear of them even if you could fish!

Use a barbless dongle n all, a big ray will throat a pennell and you ain't getting it out. Hope you had a good time.

Tidy video. Do you think the Xenon will handle a 7oz lead with a pendulum/laid-back cast? What did you think of the Akios?

Akios really nice and stayed in one piece I had a 16lb common off the rocks with Akios but it is a beach rod and would suit beach work better. I know guys that have casted 7oz on the Tronix but personally I wouldn’t like to cast a 7oz with bait on it
