Nope. Raw shrimp is not suitable for betta.

এ খাবার গুলো লাইভব্রিডার মাছ কে দেয়া যাবেনা?

I have a question. I am setting up a small guppy breeding pond as an experiment. I will add 1 male and 3 female guppies. I will also add some hornwort and Amazon frogbit. I will not use any filter and it will be outdoor so, I want to know what would be a good breed of snail that I can put in the tank as a cleaner. I want a snail that is easy to keep and breeds so that I can sell it. I also wanted to ask you this question. After I add dechlorinator (I use a Chinese dechlorinator and not the cheap one that is found in most fish stores) to the water, should I add anything else like aquarium salt or mythelyne blue? If so please let me know how much I should add per liter. Also let me know what would be the best pellet foods for the guppies. I will get those and blend them with other things like vegetables for better colouration. I also heard that some people use multivitamins in fish food. I want to know which multivitamins I should use for fish and how much as well. Please reply to this comment. Thank you.

At first, thank you for your fantastic questions. Breeding pond or breeding tank the term is confusing, as you intended to keep 1:3 male:female ratio of guppy fish for experiment and also want to keep it outdoor without filtration. You can use aquatic plants like hornwort which will help as a filter and oxygen producer as well as Amazon frogbit that will help as a cover of your tank. So, you do not need a filter. But as you mention outdoor setup and did not tell me the volume of water capacity of your pond, if it is less than 100 liter I would suggest you not keep it in full outdoor but you can keep it in the semi-outdoor condition such as in balcony. As for snails Zebra nerite and Apple snails, are good in the aquarium they are less aggressive and will help you to keep your water clean. But if want to breed them you have to keep a very lower fish density in your tank. As for water dechlorination, you do not need it, if you keep your tank water in sunlight for 2-3 days and put there some aquatic plants then using it would be much safer and good for fish. For the food, you can use Hikari for tropical fishes like guppies. Last but not least multivitamins are important for fish but do not use chemical vitamins, instead of that use natural food vitamins like the vegetables that you mentioned. For coloration of guppy, sunlight is a fact along with quality pellet and live food.

@@AquaTraveler so, I am planning on using the 200 litre chemical drums. So, it will be 100 litre each. I want to keep guppies in a ratio of 1:3 like u said. Also, I was going to use hornwort and Amazon frogbit just like u said. I was kind of concerned as I wanted to add a few apple snails but I heard that they will eat the plants. I am not sure if it is true. I am going to keep the ponds in our balcony, but if there is not enough place, I will keep it on our roof top where there is direct sunlight for 2-3 hours and the rest is just partial sunlight. I have bred guppies before, but I did not get a lot of profit. Therefore, what breed of guppy do u think I should try breeding this time. Also, I wanted to breed some cherry shrimp and bettas. I will keep some plants like micra, rotala, etc. in small pots in a crate, do u think if I put some shrimps there, they will breed? Also for the bettas, what type of betta do u think will be the easiest to breed. And for the jarring, I have some 500g and 1,000g glass jars. Do u think those will be fine for jarring the male bettas? If so, I will buy more of them and which one do u think I should get the 500g one or the 1,000g one. For water conditioning, I have a bottle of the Chinese water conditioner which is I believe 120 taka. I will use that and some salt. Also I will use some Indian almond leaf extract. How much salt and Indian almond leaf extract do u think I should use per litre of water? Also can I please have your phone number so that I can call you sometime next week after my exams finish? As I do not have Facebook, I cannot join the Facebook group. Also I am really sorry that the comment is wayyyy to long. I am just 13 years old and am trying to gather as much knowledge as possible before getting the fish again.
