Ingredients
as needed beer
1/2 tsp cornflour
1 tbsp cucumber
1 number Fish
3 number green chillies
1 number lemon juice
1 tbsp Maida
1 number onions
as needed 0 red chilli powder
as needed 0 salt
1 tbsp vinegar
Directions
Take a plate add lemon juice, salt,red chilli powder mix well then dip the fish fille both the side.
Take a bowl add All purpose Flour ie maida, salt, baking powder, beer mix this well, keep it in a fridge for 15 min. add yellow food color
In another plate add cornflour and maida dip the marinated fish both the side.
To make a mock sauce add vinegar,onion,cucumber, green chillies chopped microwave for 1 min cool it down and add it to mayonnaise mix well.
dip fish in batter and deep fry

    I really liked seeing you enjoy eating the fish you made. It looks delicious. Can you substitute olive oil mayo for the tarter sauce? Also can you fry the fish in olive oil?

    Hi Sanjay, I just made this dish and really love it! It was quick and easy. I didn't use beer, but sparkling water with a hint of lemon and it still came out crispy and not too fishy at all. Please continue making great and easy dishes for us.

    I did this today at home. Taste came up well but fish absorbed too much oil when I fried them. Can you pls tell me why it happened and alternative to avoid absorbing more oil?

    He suggests using ginger ale or another light soda. They do make non-alcoholic beers as well.

    YUM! That looks great. I also normaly have fried potato chips with my fish. The idear with using crisp chips looks fantastic and very different! Thanks for the tartar sauce method...going to give that a try out soon. PS... agreed with you on the beer sampling :D cheers...

    You don't use batter for chips: cut to size, soak to remove excess starch then dry thoroughly before frying. If you mean oil: I use 1/2 lard and 1/2 beef dripping. You can probably use coconut oil, palm kernel oil, peanut oil or ghee as these do not degrade at high temperatures but may taste strange (ex peanut). Saturated fat = good; pufa = bad (produced as deodorised, rancid oil; oxidises ldl)

    @givememoore22 You can use any carbonated drink, you can even use mineral water, as long as there is gas in the drink. Gas makes the batter lighter and crispier

    The best fish batter is made with stout (e.g. Guinness) rather than beer (2nd best). UK chips = US fries. UK crisps = US chips. Personally I like fish, chips and curry: simply pour some curry sauce over fish & chips (fries).

    I don't care for the tast of beer. I am going to use clubsoda because its the carbonation that makes the batter light. I would think that gingerale would be too sweet. I might be wrong.
