I had an ankle injury two seasons ago right before i was able to up on my first day. Was out that whole season and didn't get a chance to go up the following season. This year i'm getting back into it. Currently at work, curious about the snowboarding side of youtube again. just typed in the word "snowboarding" into the search bar and this video was the first one to come up. So i'm sittin here, enjoying the vibes, watching you carve it up, thinking you look and sound very familiar. And then it hit me. You taught me how to snowboard 11 years ago. I was so nervous to go up for the first time; i was 12 and my friends all had family that taught them how to snowboard as they grew up. I didn't have that, but i did have you, ready to answer any questions i had. After I got comfortable with the sport i watched less and less videos (truly sorry). But seriously, my guy, thank you for teaching me and countless others the sport which we hold so dearly. Thank you.

Those clew step in bindings are super awesome, no more abrasions on the index and thumb fingers trying to get the pesky plastic bindings into the clasp again and again going on and off the magic carpet.

My dad always thinks I will get seriously injured if I try snowboarding for the very first time...and also thinks that skiing, which I tried, and failed miserably at, would be better. But honestly, how would he even know snowboarding wouldn’t work for me if I’ve never even tried yet?! I’ve always believed in myself, even if my dad sometimes doesn’t. If I’m on my own in trying to learn how to snowboard, then so be it.

Lmao my whole family skiis . So we went out to a local mountain and I’m like I’m gonna try snowboarding (never snowboarded but skateboarded my whole life) my mom goes “that’s dangerous, you’re going to get injured” my dad says “you won’t be able to do it, it’s too hard” and my siblings didn’t say anything but anyways I tried the skis and failed horribly also and just couldn’t get it so I took them off and left. Really wanted to try snowboarding so went back a week later with a couple of buddies and been killing it on the board ever since. First time on the board and went down a black mountain. Didn’t make it all the way down but didn’t fail as bad as skis …moral of the story.. do what’s right for you and don’t listen to what anyone else has to say.

Glad to see you enjoying it, but this is a terrible time to be in Utah for snow sports. You should have been here last season. All the resorts were almost 100% open already by this time. We got over 900 inches at most resorts by the end of the season; it was insane. Last year had the highest snowfall on record here in Utah.
