Yeah, there are trucks with half the mileage, even less, that are completely beaten or destroyed from work usage. I am guessing this has been a long haul rig most it's life and the owner cared a lot for it.

That’s a lot of driving in 5 years. Looks like a 2018 model. Crazy to me how many miles people can drive in a year. Had an uber driver with a 2020 corolla that had just ticked 300k miles. 100k miles a year is insane. Said he drove to Colorado every month (3000+ mile round trip) to get weed haha.

Pretty funny as I thought my dodge paint held up a lot better than my 60 day old superduty I had one scratch on my black ram after 6 years and I have 2 scratches in 60 days and I have to say that one of them is my slightly rubbing my plastic garbage 🗑 and the other is probably from a rock that was kicked up by my tire Love my ford carbonized grey but I hope this easy scratching doesn't keep happening

@@nysucks4508 probably just a bad string of luck. I bought a 22 f250 gasser with carbonized grey paint. I own a small farm so it’s out in the elements no cover. It will also have a hard life. Wood cutting, towing fifth wheel, hauling everything from equipment to feed for our farm. I will continue washing with Meguiars wax wash and spray that ceramic wax from meguires every time I wash it with fingers crossed it will last as long as my other trucks. Ford f250 (gas) Ram 2500 (diesel) Chevy 2500 (gas) Ford f150 (gas) All parked outside with dirt driveway Hot summers ash from wildfires, cold wet winters with snow. 👍🏻

@@nysucks4508 yeah trying to wing us off diesel fuel. We have a tractor now thats a gasser, 2 four wheelers, side by side and our generator is gas. It makes it easier because we store fuel and just stocking one type is kinda nice. No complaints with our Cummins just hate trying to work on it. I always joke around i’ve got to take apart 20% of the top of the engine just to get to one thing haha as soon as I get offered the right price I will unload the ram 2500 but for now the F250 gasser is my daily. The rest of the trucks are set up to do different task on the farm.

When I was in the Army I got put on a month long detail where we just power washed LMTVs and HMMWVs that came in from overseas training. We had to wear our full wet weather gear, crawl under the trucks, and just power wash for hours upon hours. The detail was 12 hours on, 12 off, two different crews running 24 hours round the clock. Was one of the dumber details I did in the infantry.

If you wet the paint before applying the chemical, you are changing the dilution. In my opinion, you should apply the product with the car dry.

On the windows, I take a popsicle stick and a corner of my towel, apply glass cleaner, wrap the towel around the stick, and swipe inside the gaskets inside and out. Gets rid of a lot of gunk that keeps leaving film on the clean glass.

@@Eatmykellogs I don’t think so. I like Larry , but I’d rather watch something really disgusting get clean again than watch restorations. good channel though. But in my opinion, MAD’s content is consistently more enjoyable and higher quality than the rest. And I’ve watched many channels.

That’s why I wash. Then Do the inside. After the inside is done I finish the outside. But yes I will use compressed air if needed.
