With the minimal amount of work it needs I think it will find a new home really quickly. I look forward to seeing you work your way through the collection… I think I spotted an old VW Vanagon back there… it looks like a great mix of automotive fandom, chef’s kiss perfection of a video!

The verdigri blue green became popular and synominous with the City Beautiful movement. This coincided with the Seattle 1962 World's Fair and Seattle's weeklong Seafair Festivities that were set off with The Torchlight Parade then culminating with the Blue Angels Airshow and Hydroplane Races. The aquamarine was on the window sashes and doors of white painted homes everywhere to welcome visitors to the Emerald City. Beautiful 66 Ford looks so good now!

A good practice when putting that much force on a cable is to throw beach towels, one on each section so if the cable snaps it keeps it from becoming a whip, that’ll cut you horribly. Old four-wheel-drive recovery trick.

My dad also had the exact same. I honestly can´t remember the interior color, but it wasn´t red. It was then handed down to my oldest brother and then to me at 15yo. It was so easy to work on that it was driven well into the late 80`s when we started losing the battle with undercarriage rust due to living on the Texas Gulf Coast.

The color scheme for a great for the era. The red wheels offer a great contrast to the teal/white. As far as the FORD V8 logo, it was used for the Disney Cars Trilogy. I bet you were surprised to see the gas tank behind the seat and the headlight dimmer switch on the floor. The air filter cover was not factory and probably came in a kit along with the chrome valve covers. That V8, depending on where it was built, could be a 335, 352, 360 or a 390 with a Windsor Carburetor. If it was a 390, it should have a 4bbl carb and not the 2 bbl. The intake manifold appears to be cast iron and not aluminum, so it’s a smaller displacement 352 unless the previous owners made some changes. That also looks like a 4 speed “Cruiseomatic” transmission. Taken an old farm truck and dressed it up. Good job guys! Let us see more from that eclectic collection.
