If they feel strongly enough about an issue to protest it, go back home (the place in which they are a citizen) and protest their own government to take action. A student visa is not citizenship...they do not have a right to vote in the country they are studying in. Voters have a right to protest their governments. I don't think that's narrow minded at all...

Maybe, but couldn’t that also potentially lead to some tensions between Britain & France. Like of course the Navy would only be used as a deterrent against illegal immigration, but because the Channel is in between Blighty and Europe, the French could potentially see it as a threat due to the deployment of military ships instead something more dare I say less intimidating such as the RNLI/ RMLI or whatever they’re called.

He just spits out numbers and thinks Canadians will believe what he says. He still says that we will get back the carbon taxes we have been charged when it is not true. He said that seniors would get a pension more money starting last month and my mother is still waiting. I haven't received a carbon tax rebate yet either. I can't afford to live in Canada anymore and I am Canadian. Many immigrants, who can afford it, are leaving because the cost of living is so high.
