Mina even had to go on hiatus and according to him, that was one of the moments when he could see how much they love and support each other.

Iirc, Feel Special was especially written for Sana (pink-haired girl in the MV; JYP even wrote down the lyrics, framed it and gifted it to her), due to everything she had to face at the time. But the song does really speak about their bond and friendship overall. Though its true it could be a song for Mina too as this was also the time she went on hiatus. Let's just say Feel Special really, really hits hard as 2019 was a VERY difficult time for the entire group 🥺

I dont like that guide because they use too much useless time to twice clips when their are other viral clips that better show their personalities. also they dont do a good job of showing off the lead dancer’s dancing skills or mina. They just use basic twice choreo videos. I hope in 2024 we get a really good one, like a more fleshed out version of the gaypop video.

Your right about the MV's they like to give each member a spotlight. All of them are a key component to their music and their personalities and they try to convey that, the more you listen to them the more you kinda get to see the roles of each member, now its not the exact formula because they will throw you for loop and change it all up, they keep you on your toes trying lots of genres but always keeping their core sound, they are the only GG i know who can pull it off. Feel Special was written by JYP after a conversation he had with the members over dinner. They were goin through some tough times with certain scandals they were involved in and some members had trouble dealing with anxiety. Mina had to take time off to improve her mental health and heal her anxiety so Mina's verse in this hits extra hard if you know her backstory. Feel Special is about how the members of Twice make each other feel special and complete. Notice in the MV that they all start off singing their verse alone but halfway through the MV, they're actually in pairs and not alone. Chae is in the futuristic white room where it exposes an outside world where Mina walks towards her. Nayeon is on the TV screens with Jihyo watching the TV monitors. Tzuyu is in dollhouse when Momo walks towards her. Sana is caught outside in the rain without an umbrella but Dahyun walks towards her with a brightly colored umbrella to help her. This is a special song for the members and for Once.

TWICE got me into ONCE, yet I am still not into k-pop.

As a Once since 2016, feel special has been my favorite mv through out the years, it has been really close to every onces heart.

YAAASSS TWICE is such a great group and the one that got me into female kpop. Specifically Feel Special. This song is everything. Totally a bop, great video, important meaning and my favourite choreography of them. I would love to watch you diving more into them for sure

Before feel special the japanese member Mina (who is the shyest member) had a mental health breakdown and became traumatized with anxiety! She would break down crying simply from walking thru the airport and eventually she took a hiatus from the group. Feel special was when she finally came back to the group so the members worked with JYP to write a song about their friendship in honor of Mina!

The age differences among the members dictated that none of them were under 21 before they explored a more mature sound . The youngest born in 99 and the oldest in 96.

Hello! Twice are all Facebook friends of mine! In order by age, Nayeon, Jungyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyeo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, Tzuyu. Momo, Sana, Mina, are japanese. Tzyuyu is from Taiwan. Jihyo is the leader. Momo is a dancing machine! Mina has 11 years of Ballet training and also loves penguins and is called a penguin. Sana is very affectionate, happy and playful. She will be the first you will fall in love with! Dahyun is the funniest and very flexible, she will scare you with her ability! Chaeyoung changes her hair alot. Short or long, black, blonde, orange, pink, changes day by day! Tzuyu is the youngest and also the tallest. She is the one in the mv in that gown you like. Mina and Tzuyu are the quietest members and very sweet. Nayeon is called Bunny because her two front teeth are long. Momo means peach in Japanese so is called that. No Sana no life is a common phraise. Dahyun is called Dubu or Tofu. Chae is called the Baby Beast and Tzuyu is Yoda and has been called the most beautiful face in the world! Mina and Chae are very close to one another, maybe too close? There is drama concerning both Mina and Jungyeon. They were out of the group for almost a year for medical reasons, Mina for anxiety and Jongyeon a slipped disc in her neck. Thankfully both are backk and healthy! Last point, im sure i misspelled their names!

Lmao you just casually say "oh yeah she's the main vocal" as if you think Jihyo doesn't exist on twice. So, just a little correction from this comment, Nayeon and Jeongyeon exist as the two lead vocalists in this group, Jihyo exists as the main vocalist with the most reliable vocal abilities compared to the two lead vocalists. The three of them are the vocalists who stand out the most in their songs. While the main rapper is Chayeong with Dahyun, Momo as lead/sub rapper and the rest as sub vocalist. That's a general overview of their position! I hope you're not that one of those overrated stan

Just a heads up, the lyrics to set me free on the mv are wrong. Don't know what genius decided to put the lyrics of the english version on the Korean song and call it a day but it is NOT the actual translation of the song. I personally prefer the lyricism in the korean version cuz it just sounds watered down in the english version
