@@sarafinamariebeauty7666 Cotton stays cold when it gets wet. That's no bueno when you're on a river like Clear creek in Colorado or where I work in Washington where it's glacier fed, you'd get hypothermia

My father took me and my siblings on this same river white water rafting to celebrate my 15th birthday. I remember listening to the guides instructions in the beginning as to what to do if you fall out and I remember think ha not me. Well I fell out on a very fast moving rapid and thanked goodness I did listen, I kept my feet up and moved with the water. Even though I had the helmet and the life vest on I was pulled under a few times just moving rapidly with the water bobbing up and down. It was pretty scary. But at the end of the day it was the best adventure/birthday I’ve had. That was back in the 80’s.

This is honestly reassuring and makes it a lot less intimidating then my mind is thinking. I am doing a family rafting 2-3 in about a week and I’ll try sitting in the back. I’m not adventurous nor really a strong swimmer. I was reassured by the company via email this would be fine for this particular course. But thanks again for this video! Very well made! Looks like y’all had fun 😁

I’ve been whitewater rafting in Colorado, but rafting the Grand Canyon tops the bucket list! Thank you for showing this. I’m hoping to go in the next couple years. I’ll totally be one of the people in the front of the raft. I’m a total adrenaline junky. The stronger the rapids the better!!! It looks like you enjoyed this trip! I’m so happy for you!

Thanks for taking the time to watch my video. As you know I too don’t swim. However I relied heavily on the lifevest and I was just fine. As long as she stays in the boat doing the rapids she should be OK. It was one of the greatest adventures of my life. Please let me know if she had a good time.
