If I remember correctly, the director of the show made it so EVERYONE in the production (swings and all) was able to be a part of the Tony performance. Always loved this one!

PLEASE react to more beetlejuice and Alex brightman, he is incredibly talented. He also did school of rock and there is a tony performance. Also idk if this is allowed but there are bootlegs of Broadway performances you could also react to those or just watch on your free time if you are really interested in the musical stuff. Beetlejuice is definitely a top 5 for me though, it’s so funny, I’ve seen it live twice and in going again in October. In my opinion you are truly blessed if you get to experience Alex brightman perform live, the guy has more talent in his pinky toe than I have in my entire body and he is literally the nicest person on the planet, I met him at the stage door.

Lolol, that was kind of epic. I by no means sing well, but I was in choir and did musicals in high school. Theatre is so appealing because the production and execution of it has to be spot on. It's real time, you can't mess up. The theatrics is what makes it great. THIS was cool.

If you ever have the chance (and if you haven't done so already), I'd highly recommend listening to the full and original version of this song that appears in the show. This opening number is famous for being different with every promotion since the Beetlejuice character breaks the fourth wall and Alex Brightman (the actor) usually changes the lyrics with ties specifically to wherever they're performing (from the Tony's to Good Morning America to even the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade). Here's a link to their first performance of "The Whole Being Dead Thing" when they returned to Broadway after covid: kzread.info/dash/bejne/qqKApLWunNDPh5M.html

All the opening numbers for the Tony's are written specifically for that year. Watch Kinky Boots both the Musical version 2013 and the Movie it was based on 2006. You can find scenes from both on KZread as well as complete London performance.

You should watch “beautiful sound”from this musical, I actually think that that song is the better one. Also try watching the Tony’s for how to succeed in business without even trying. You will be surprised by the actors in it.

I know this is a year old, but I checked your playlists and didn't see a musical that I think you might like! It's called Six and it's about the six wives of Henry the Eighth! I saw it live when it came to Richmond, VA this past November and it was so good! I'd love to see what you'd think of the songs.

You should check out “electricity” or “Angry dance” from Billy Elliot. “Wait for me” from Hadestown, “totally fucked” from spring awakening, “you and me” or “I believe” from Book of Mormon, “dead girl walking” from Heathers, “super boy and the invisible girl” from next to normal. Also a chorus line and les miserables. Just a few to get you started :)

If you ever want to see a completely different side of Alex Brightman (Beetlejuice) - The (M)orons is a group of 4 Broadway singer/songwriters that have some pretty great performances (some are just comedy gold while others are truly beautiful songs with heart). Also, if you ever liked the Jack Black movie 'School of Rock" they did make a Broadway musical of it with Alex Brightman as the lead- he was wonderful! Some of my favorite/funniest Tony numbers are the openings when Neil Patrick Harris was hosting. Just type in "Neil Patrick Harris Tonys" and you'll get several suggestions!

I've seen this show 3 times and love it! That guy is Alex Brightman and he's amazing. He goes all out in every role he plays. He was in School of Rock on Broadway and was genius in that musical too. You should check out the opening of the concert version of Sweeney Todd it's so cool! The other thing worth noting about this tune is that they tend to modify the lyrics a lot - when they perform it for TV and the like they tend to tweak it to fit some jokes in.

Hi there! I arrived at your channel to see your reaction to all the Hamilton songs. I was wondering if you would consider reacting to the Broadway cast pro Shop recording of "into the woods" . If you haven't touched it yet. It's definitely more traditional but the story is just chef's kiss
