Aragorn is Isildur's heir. But Isildur died thousands of year earlier. So no, not his dad.
"I know there's some lore behind that" if only he knew
8:27 - very few people notice that, to show the weight they used a strong magnet UNDER the floor. So it would do a quick bounce then stick. BEAUTIFUL FILMMAKING
Reuploaded because the original video was BLOCKED IN ALL COUNTRIES due to copyright. P.S For anyone seeing this for the first time, I apologize for how much I had to cut out of the movie, there is less of that in the 2nd part.

You had to do what you had to do Jake, it happens, no worries, just keep in mind that Merry and Pippin are distant cousins to Frodo Baggins, and they do not understand severity of Frodo's quest until much later in the series. Sam is Frodo's Gardener that is why he refers to him as Mr. Frodo.
Sauruman's tower in Isengard was not built by him. It was built by Aragorn's ancestors the 'Numenoreans' centuries before, and was only entrusted to Sauruman for safekeeping. He betrayed their confidence. His orc-breeding and other shenanigans around the tower were also much better disguised in the books than in the films.
About Gandalf and Saruman: Saruman was one of the good guys originally, he was very wise and belonged to a council and him and Gandalf were friends. Plus Saruman stands over Gandalf in the line of powerful wizards so naturally Gandalf turned to him for advice and help. He couldn't possibly know that Saruman was already corrupted by the power of the dark lord of mordor. :)
Your observation about similarities between the power of the Ring and addiction is right on. It becomes even more pronounced in the later movies.
If you watch the shot when Gandalf first rides in towards the tower, the area is full of trees. The area doesn’t look threatening or evil. It has a tree lined lane up to the tower. Then Gandalf is watching the orcs tear them down from the top of the tower. Tolkien was not a fan of industrialization.
What you have to understand is the feeling of "despair" in the Tolkien world. Saruman the white (the colors show hierarchy) was watching through that obsidian ball (the palantir) and he was seeing Sauron's spirit getting stronger and his army getting bigger and bigger and before he could realise he had fallen into despair (he says "there can be no victory so we must join him"). Gandalf the grey (hierarchy) is a people's person so he was wondering around the middle earth knowing people and socializing. The Hobbits are a peaceful race that noone payed attention to cause they are insignificant. Most people don't even know they exist cause Hobbits are very good at hiding when they don't wanna be seen. Finally Sauron gave humans more rings cause he knew they were more likely to fall into the power of the One Ring. And they did and n ow he uses them as ringwraiths...
A very astute observation about the ring causing an addiction-like relationship with it's wearer. I've also had struggles with that in my life, and when I first watched this movie I thought the same thing. Great reaction, and the talk at the end. New subscriber here.
Saruman was originally good, and was the most important wizard, so Gandalf was going to him for advice, not knowing that he had become corrupted.
OMG - you're watching Rings AND Harry Potter series at the same time! Good God, Man - your head is going to explode! I'm late to your Rings reaction, so thanks for the reupload. Great series - enjoy!
Oh man, referring to the Isengard pits as "this crevice of evil ants" got me :D And when Elrond appeared the second time, "Oh, it's the giant face guy." Great video! :)
17:55- He owns a whole chain of Hot Topics 😂
The rings of power give their wielders various abilities to "help them preserve and govern their kingdoms" Sauron in disguise taught the elves how to make them, but it was a deception, because he created the one ring, to control and dominate the minds of the other ring holders. This would essentially allow him to usurp and control all the leaders of Elves Dwarves and Men without conflict. The deception was discovered hence the battle at the start. Magic in middle earth is subtle and "soft" rather than hard and in your face like harry potter. Sauron himself is incredibly powerful, he is essentially a fallen angel, and the greatest of the angels too, who was coerced to the fall by Melkor/Morgoth the first dark lord, most powerful of the gods who corrupted the world, and some of the angels. This is all several ages ago though or before middle earth even existed. The Elven rings of Fire, Water and Air chiefly gave their barers the power to preserve their magical lands. Its why Rivendell, Lorien etc seem so magical, as they've preserved and improved the lands over 1000s of years, where elsewhere the magic is fading. The Dwarves became greedy and insular and amassed obscene wealth in their mountain halls, the rings didn't really work as intended on them in terms of control, the men largely were corrupted by their rings and ensnared by Sauron completely. This was the intended outcome for all, but the elves removed their rings once Saurons deception was discovered until his downfall, knowing the risks.
I’m snacking on breakfast number one, lol! 😄
Fun Fact! The director Peter Jackson makes a cameo in each film.

Yes, the first one is when the hobbits enter the city of Bree, Peter Jackson is the one with eating a carrot!
Loved your reaction as always❤. You should watch society of the snow. It's a great movie and I would love to hear what you have to say about that one.
Aragorn is a descendant of isildur … not his dad considering isildur was alive 3000 years before Aragorn 😉
LOTR spans 20 years. 17 years pass before Frodo leaves the shire.
I think you dont like fantasy storys, you are making jokes all the Time 😂😂
Orcs are not born, they are spawned through "foulcraft" or dark magic.
