Please don't compare stray kids to bts or say they are like bts because they are not. Stray kids has their own sound and style that is different to bts one. I know this for a fact since I was a bts fan before I was a stray kids fan. Stray kids are their own unique people.

I was just going based on the first K-pop group I’ve seen which is BTS, my meaning by saying BTS is pretty much like a reference to the great vocals, dance moves and amazing videos, but I noticed they have a different sound 💯🔥🔥🔥❤️

There may be some people who get upset that you initially compared them to BTS. They are both from Korea, but they are both unique in their own ways, but it’s okay for me and many others that you draw a point of comparison to what you know. Stray kids has 15 physical albums in the last 6 years, and so much content. A lot of content. It’s actually wild how much music they have. I always like to recommend their very first song as a group, Hellevator. But also… God’s Menu, Back Door, Thunderous, Maniac, Case 143 and S-class are their other more recent title tracks.

Also they both have serious control over their original self created self-produced content as well. They are both unique and very creative , highly talented groups of people as well. They stand apart from the pack those two groups , they hit very differently from everyone else.

Skz are lit, they have so many different genres. They have something for everyone. Their music vids are also insane. All the members can rap, sing, dance and the group makes their own music❤

They even built the boat from scratch. Many of their videos can be overwhelming so you could watch it first to enjoy the music and video and watch a second time for lyrics. They have very strong rappers, some if the fastest in the business which can make it impossible to both watch the video and the lyrics at the same time. They do over 40 genres of music, they can do it all so I think you will enjoy journeying with Stray Kids. Please watch: S Class Megaverse God’s Menu (older but iconic)

They are also self producing kings hahaha! 3 out of 8 members of Stray Kids produce the music of Stray Kids as a group. But all 8 members can sing, rap, dance and are also lyricists. Theres some wordplay going on with the lyrics too! 樂 is the Chinese character for joy but its pronounced "rak" which sounds like rock so theyre also saying "feel the joy" when they say feel the rock. In thee music video there are Chinese characters for other emotions like anger and sadness that disappear throughout the music video until theyre only left with 樂! Each set represents a different emotion! The music video took 3 days to film but weeks to set up! They post videos showing them filming called "making films" and this time they put out a video showing all of the planning and set up! Theres also videos of them recording in the studio (lead by 3racha the members that produce and write all of their songs) and learning/practicing the dance if u ever wanna check it out, their process is so cool. And you'd see more of their real personalities theyre so different than how they appear on stage its fun. They have a huge love for music and have done so many genres theres a song for every emotion. And they have a ton that have really good messages about life struggles and mental health, they want to make it less taboo to talk about. Also theyre very unique in kpop because they make and write 100% of their songs and BangChan the leader actually handpicked the members himself (which has literally never been done before), came up with the group name and he even designed their logo by hand! For the story of the MV, I think the giant figures represent Fear & stage fright. (They also seem to be based on Japanese spirits of drowned sailors called Umibozu) They dissipate when the words of the emotions in the children's heads disappear. I believe the floating characters are the words Joy, Anger, Sorrow, and Happiness/pleasure. (This is what I have been told. It seems to be a mix of Chinese, Japanese, and Korean, and I can read none of those.) There are four factions for four groups of the members. Since the four factions represented emotions, the locations were different. Anger was at the bottom of the ocean. It's a dense emotion that we try to smother & it thrives under pressure.The members who represent this emotion are pirates. Joy was a bank. It's an emotion that we store & take out for special things. The members that represent this emotion are in denim, but surrounded by clowns who look like the ones from the Dark Knight. Sorrow was a stark place of floating ash and monuments that were like graves. The members who represent this emotion are in pale & washed out colors mixed with white. Happiness/Pleasure was in a fort of musical instruments. It's an emotion that's loud & messy. We hear it before we see it. The members who represent this emotion look a lot like people from Mad Max mixed with military. Now. Anger attacked Joy first. They bypassed Sorrow altogether. (You can see this in the map they showed.) But it didn't turn out. Anger was defeated & captured. That was the first word to dissipate. The next to fall was Joy. Happiness/Pleasure snuck in disguised as clowns & planted a bomb. (We saw I.N talking on a communicator & one of the clowns also had one. He later takes off the mask as he leaves revealing it's Han) The bomb went off. Since the bus was in both Joy & Sorrows' realms (Back half in Joy, front in Sorrow. We can't have one of those emotions without having felt the other.) we see the explosion as the camera pans to Sorrow, and the word for Joy dissipates as well. Sorrow falls & we see that Happiness/Pleasure is all that remains. They have gathered parts of the other emotions & folded them into their own. Happiness/Pleasure is very nuanced. It can contain elements of the other emotions and still be the same. Also. I think Lee Know said (In the video with them reacting to the music video) that the children are them when they were young. And over the years these emotions that they felt at varying times have been "defeated" and all that's left is pleasure in their music. The sequence of emotions & dissipation of said emotions seems to mirror their own journey. When they first started, everything was pretty evenly balanced. They hit a few hard times & anger kinda made an appearance, but then they started enjoying things more....Then Woojin left & sorrow took hold for a while. But they came out of that better balanced, and now are taking pleasure in their work once again. Currently they take pleasure in their work, it's tempered with the other emotions, but the dominating drive they have is happiness & pleasure. The lyrics of the song are about locking away your stress & meeting the world with fun & music. The bus is an interesting thing. As well as being between the the factions of Joy & Sorrow (The back part was fully in Joy's section....But the front was in Sadness. Almost as if it had crashed into it.) , it's actually a call back to their beginning. And it's not the one from District 9, it's the one from Grow Up that was heading to District 9. I do think the District number being 325 is significant. Since that is the debut date, it has now become the beginning district. It WAS district 9 for the 9 of them, but that has changed over the years. And it is no longer just them. They invited ALL of us in in Back Door. At the beginning, it was small & sheltered. They were very careful of their district. But as they grew in confidence, they threw the notice out to everyone who wants to enter...All we have to do is knock. And Felix didn't swear. Felix is saying the Korean word for Shh. I believe it's Swit? So it's a work around on the no swearing rule. Stray Kids love homophones. I mean, look at the title for the album & this song. It means happiness/pleasure in Chinese. But it sounds like the English word "rock". So the album is Rock Star, and it's all about emotions. Every song on this album is designed to touch our emotions in different ways. I'm going to leave you a list of stuff that makes up Skz story line. I'm going to include some songs I think are part of the story, but not quite. I'll put them in brackets. And yes. The trailers & teasers I list are needed for the story. Hellevator isn't needed, but it is very important for people to watch. Helevator was made before they even debut as part of the Survival Show that they went through to prove they could debut as one group. And parts of it are seen through out the story line.(I can't remember if people have told you, but SKZ were a 9 member group at the beginning. At just under 2 years into their journey one of them, Woojin, left. You will see Woojin in older videos. He was present till Double Knot. He has a lovely voice, and I wish him well on his solo career. A lot of Stay ignore his existence because of how he left.) (Hellevator) I Am Not trailer District 9 (Mirror could go here, but it's not completely in the story line) Voices Grow Up My pace I Am You Victory Song Performance Video Miroh Cle 2: Yellow Wood trailer Side Effects Teaser 1 Side Effects Double Knot (Astronaut is technically next, but it's also a split in the story line again. The group from this one end up in space & go on to the song TOP where they have a conclusion of a sorts for their story. So their path is up to Double Knot, then Astronaut, and finally TOP. The main story skips this, and goes on to Levanter Trailer.) Cle: Levanter Trailer Levanter Go Live Trailer Stray Kids Prequel: Highlight Reel Gods Menu In Life Trailer Back Door I think that's the end of the official story line. Stray Kids consider Gods Menu as their new beginning, and the story shows it. After that, they take many different routs in their story & music. What a great reaction!! Don't worry about pausing too much, it's your reaction and as much as many of their fans "STAYS" have seen their mv/s and other reactions, they don't mind the pauses. You literally have to watch their mv's twice, once to enjoy the actual mv and the other to read the subtitle. Since you mentioned you make beats and music production, you definitely are going to like Stray Kids, because these unique and extremely talented group of guys make their beats/music. Stray kids have 8 members, (Bang Chan, Lee know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Félix, Seungmin, I.N ) They are une JYP entertainment, a label who own a lot of amazing groups (Twice, Itzy, Nmixx, Day6 , Xdinary Heroes...) They produce their own songs, a unit called 3Racha consisting of (Bang Chan, Changbin , Han) are the producer. they debut since 2018 Every member have solo songs . Their music is always amazing they just drop a mini album Rock Star you just check their title track lalalala, some days ago 'megaverse' track 1 on the album just drop a music video you can check it out.

Skz are not comparable to any other kpop group. They are pioneers for creating the genre of mala taste (spicey and on fire) They are one of the only kpop groups that are 100% self produced with over 40 genres of music in their discography. Im not even into Kpop just Stray Kids. Those boys are something special

With a lot of their newer videos, you have to pause. Another banger off this new album and the video is really is Megaverse. If you like this song, you will love Megaverse. Also, Stray Kids are just different. They have a variety of genres so there maybe some songs you may not like which is ok. I love their beats and music and I think you seem the type of person who appreciates music. They are true artists since, they write, and produce (with other producers too but also by themselves). This SKZ comeback is killing me and I'm here for it, as one of my wreckers aka Han ( I tried to keep him on a tight leash but he broke from it lol) has joined my other two biases Felix and Hyunjin (now i have 3) and my wreckers wrecker Lee Know has joined Changbin as a wrecker. I am in love with the pirate\purge theme throughout the MV as its more like they are trying to show people no matter what they wont change as they give people like me hope that we can just be who we are. the lyrics are also amazing as ever as I had ever since the teaser, lalalala la lalalala stuck in my head when I wake up and wen I go to sleep. The beat is also super catchy as its a beat that's the type to get you hyped up and ready for anything. On a side note i love Han wearing the clown mask as I could tell it was him just by looking at his eyes. also I just wanted to say i love the choreo and learning it myself and i also love the rapping and vocals in the song aswell. also i love the rock sound as if it wasnt for kpop i wouldnt be into rock type music at all and talking bout the music i love the drums and the guitars also i love how chaotic but natural it all looks.

As for solos - they are too young of a group too have solo careers. South Korean men have to enlist by the time they are 28-30 so the group activities are held back in the meantime and that is when people that are not in the military go solo. They aren't active for full 6 years yet. They will probably start to go solo within next 2-3 years. Stray kids have solo songs and unit songs but this is caused by their unimaginable music output. Three of them are the main producers and they make tracks for every member if asked. This is why they have a ton of side projects consisting of one or more members just coz they felt like making a song of this or that kind. The diversity is wild. For instance: Doodle, Up all night, Miserable, Zone, Want so bad, Streetlight, Just breathe (with sky high), Maknae on top, I got it, Drive... You wouldn't believe one group made them. The versatility is mind-blowing. It is also the main thing I love about their music. This and that it is all actually a very high quality sound

Debuted 2018 They are ages 22 - 26 They are unique for several reasons... First, the leader Bang Chan was allowed by JYP to hand pick all of the members himself. They were not placed together in a traditional way, by the company. A first in Kpop. Second all of them are all arounders. They can all sing, rap, dance, produce and write. Third, they have written and produced about 99% of their music. While they can all do everything they do have 3 different subunits... 3Racha... Bang Chan, Chang Bin and Han which are the main producers. They are always credited as 3Racha Danceracha... Lee Know (he is a former backup dancer for BTS and in charge of leading dance practices), Felix and Hyunjin Vocalracha... Seungmin and I.N While the songs are hype they always have significant meaning to them. Their lyricism is always insane. Since they are so experimental their sound has its own genre and they have a very diverse discography. Example... Gods Menu, Back Door and Case 143 all completely different sounds.

Loved your reaction! I totally understand why compared to BTS-for many people, myself included, BTS was the only Kpop they knew of and probably their intro to that type of music. But you’ll soon find that SKZ are in a class of their own (pun intended!), their talent is unmatched! They’re all amazing at everything, and the fact that they produce their own music is enough to blow your mind! I’ve been a Stay for 3+ years and I feel like I’m still learning about them. Producing unit - 3racha (sounds like the hot sauce 🔥) Chan - (the oldest) aka BEST LEADER, hand picked the members, main producer, vocalist, rapper. Changbin - main rapper, main lyricist, producer, vocalist. Han - main rapper, main lyricist, producer, will blow your mind when he sings. 3racha was the beginning of it all, they have released songs before forming skz and they are credited with over 200 songs. Dance unit - Danceracha Lee know (Lee Minho, second oldest) - dance leader, choreographer, recently became main vocal thanks to his hard work 🌟 Hyunjin - another amazing dancer but with a different style, lyricist and rapper. Felix (Lee yongbok) - deep voice, main dancer, rapper. Vocal unit - vocalracha (2 youngests members) Seungmin - main vocal (also possibly the fastest rapper of all times😜) I.N (yang jeongin) - main vocal (the baby of the group/ maknae on top) The discography is huge, probably the biggest in Korea and it mixes a lot of genres, the songs have amazing meaning and messages and their music videos go hard! skz requires a deep dive in order to grasp who they are. THe only reason people ask you not to compare Stray Kids to BTS is because some INSANE Bts fans always accuse Stray Kids of copying them. even when it's something stupid like using the same Korean word in a song. yeah same thing happened to ATEEZ with Stray Kids someone said that ATEEZ want to be Stray Kids so bad (becuz of the shooting part in Crazy Form) Stray Kids had a similar theme in their song Freeze and that really agitated me so I ended up being a smartass and said that Stray Kids also want to be ATEEZ so bad (becuz ATEEZ are pirates) that person didn't reply back LOL those kind of ppl are just idiots and love starting wars which is stupid becuz both groups are friends I love both groups and more

They released S-CLASS, which they won the VMAs with this year, and I would recommend God's Menu, Victory Song, and DOMINO.

Every song is pretty different but if you lile rap 3racha (bangchan, changbin & han jinsung) are the main producers/lyricist and had a pre debut rap group with a youtube channel. If you like that song they have many like it , also fun fact they actually write and produce most of their music, you really should listen to more of their songs .

Never apologize for pausing, btw. If people get mad at that they can click away. I SO much prefer a reactor who pauses to either talk or go back to see something again than the ones who just talk over everything they're supposed to be reacting to... therefore missing everything. So keep pausing and rewatching my dude.

Y'all stays, behave in the comments. Comparing a group to BTS is a compliment even if they are different from the group mentioned. They brought kpop boy groyps to the entire world stage for others; I definitely would have never had a passing thought into looking any korean groups if I never heard their songs. They are often many first peoples Korean group to hear because of how popular they are, and i'd argue a really good example. Stray Kids is the only group where I actually have become invested in more than a passing interest and love them SO MUCH, Max your reaction is literally me every time they release a new song lmao, I have to pause every five seconds because their production and beats are insane. You should check out some of their others songs, if you want MVs my personal faves are Venom, Back Door, Topline, and Miroh. God's Menu is classic too.

Definitivamente tienes que ver y escuchar sus álbumes anteriores, para que no vuelvas a creer que Stray Kids es igual que bts. :( Stray Kids es un grupo autoproducido, que trata temáticas bastante fuertes, controversiales socialmente y realistas. Espero que algún día le des la oportunidad a su arte.
