I remember randomly checking this out from my local library out of curiosity back in 2018 without any knowledge of the movie. I assumed it like one of those multiverse episodes from the 90s Spiderman cartoon rather than Miles Morales specifically. Now it's my favorite spiderman movie alongside the recent sequel.

That line Spider-Ham says, "The hardest thing about this job is... you can't always save everybody." Really chokes me up, even to this day. In every single superhero story, someone important to them that they couldn't save (like Uncle Ben, or Gwen Stacy in the spider-Man comics,) is a traumatizing memory that stays with them the most, their driving force to do their very best and try not to let anyone else die. But it's an impossible task, the cruel reality, and a rather mature theme that I'm glad they touched on.

He's not choosing his father over the world. He's choosing to save both. Also, when did Peter ever talk about respecting Mj's opinion?

Most Spider-Men use web shooters. They're gadgets, they have been since the 60's. They changed it in the Tobey McGuire films to him organically producing webs because they thought people would think he didn't have enough spider-based powers with just the strength and sticking and senses. He also briefly got organic webs in the comics in the mid to late 2000's but went back to web shooters before long. It's a bit frustrating that so many people don't realize that it's Peter's tech genius that led to the webs and not just a power he was given. I understand it's not the fault of the average person, I just wish the Tobey movies didn't color that perception so heavily lol.

This movie was criminally underrated when it first came out so one Tuesday night I decided to go to the latest screening of Spider-Verse and I was alone in the theater. Not one single soul except for me and it was fcking incredible! Saw the second in theaters as well but there was a lot more people that time obv. ;) The Spider-Verse trilogy are my favourite animation movies of all time so far! The creativity, the script, the visuals, the score/music, it's all 10s across the board for me! Even more the second movie! Glad y'all enjoyed ☺

@@StorymasterQ When Doc Ock possessed Peter's body and became The Superior Spiderman while he was learning how the body worked he punched Scorpion's jaw clean off. That was when he realised that the only reason he survived as Doc Ock was because Spiderman held back.

"Into the Spider-verse" is responsible for the abstract concept of using style to enhance the narrative that "The Last Wish" used. TMNT: Mutant Mayhem did the same thing and Kung Fu Panda 4 looks to be doing the same as the art style seems inspired by traditional Chinese paintings.

The visuals in these movies are an absolute trip, and I love it

About the webs that come out of the wrists of spider man spider man of tobey maguire and the only one capable of that otherwise in general spider man always uses gadgets his body does not make itself webs like a spider for example.

Please start watching all marvel movies in order, i hope it will get more viewers and you people will definitely won't regret it.

Basically, before Marvel was bought by Disney, they sold a bunch of movie rights to different companies... Sony bought the rights to Spider-Man and related characters, Fox got Fantastic Four and X-Men related characters... I think Universal didn't get the movie rights to Hulk, but they did get distribution rights, so technically Disney can still use the Hulk, but it doesn't want Universal to distribute, so they haven't directly made any Hulk movies since the last one (the MCU started a bit before Disney bought them)... There was the Netflix stuff, but I'm not sure if that affected the MCU directly... This caused some issues in the MCU, like they had to do deals with Fox to get Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch/Wanda into the MCU, because they were part of the X-men/mutant world... They also couldn't use the concept of mutants and Adamantium and such... I think Captain America's shield might have originally been Adamantium, but they changed it to vibranium... They had to make a deal with Sony to get Spidey into the MCU too... Some things have merged back into the MCU now because Disney bought Fox... Some of this affected other things too... For example, I think in the comics they sidelined X-men stuff as to not promote stuff they couldn't use in movies... I think it affected games like Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite too, where they cut out all the fan favourites, the X-men characters... Something like this anyway, I forget the exact details.
