This one was better then scream 2 in my own opinion.

I can understand Roman's frustration, but Sidney never knew about him so it's not like she's to blame

I love the quirkiness of this one. They couldn't make it as graphic as they first wanted - because it was the same time that the shootings at Columbine happened.

When Neve Campbell stabbed Scott Foley in the back, she missed the safety pad, and actually stabbed him, so that was a genuine reaction of pain and shock from the poor actor :D Good video, as always!

Oh wow i didnt know that but that sux 😳🥺 and fyi also btw if u didnt know this "fun fact" when Neve (Sydney) stabbed Skeet (Billy Loomis) in the 1st SCREAM when she comes outta the closet with the ghostface costume and mask on she actually stabbed him with the umbrella in a place where he had just had a procedure done but i dont remember if it was the 1st stab or the 2nd stab but his yell was real also 🙂 but thats interesting about Scotts real injury and believe it or not but outta all of the bts (behind the scenes) videos and interviews ive seen i never knew that "fun fact" and im wondering y thats not a more wide-spread "fun fact" and has not been mentioned before in any other comment section so thank you for letting us know that 🙂

Scream 3 is like a fine wine. It's ageing so well. I'm loving the new found love for this film because it's NOWHERE near as bad as people say. Great reaction man 👏

I love this franchise. I really appreciate you going through this. Another thing you should is that the director Wes Craven, R.I.P, believed in a strong woman, that's why his female characters or protagonist are all badass in their own ways. He was also ahead of his time. He believed the Metoo movement before it became a movement. Obviously, these days everyone knows what happened, but back then if you spoke out public, you were blacklisted from hollywood, just look at Brendan Frasier, so he wanted to give the middle finger to the top Studios executives that are involved or rumored to be involved in. That's the theme in this movie, actresses having to do sexual favors to get a role in a movie.

Really!? I mean, I figured he believed in strong women just from Scream, Nightmare on Elm St./ New Nightmare, even Cursed had a strong female lead in Christina Ricci. But I didn't know his opinion on the "casting couch", let alone how fervent he was on it.

They added in the proposal at the end because that was the same year Courtney Cox and David Arquette got married in real life. Their love story literally follows the Scream franchise, lol. They met during Scream, started dating while making Scream 2, got married at the same time as Scream 3, and were still married for the 4th. It was after Scream 4 when they got separated and divorced in real life. But they are still good friends and co-parents to their daughter.

Fact: in the original script, the idea for this movie was to set it back in Woodsboro and the killers were gonna be members of a Stab fan club at school, who were killing under the guidance of Stu Macher, who was reveled to be alive and incarcerated. Sadly, the idea of killing people didn't sit well with anyone after Columbine, so it was changed to this. Never been a huge fan of the half-brother story, but I did like the part of of how he orchestrated Maureen's murder.

Such a great reaction!!!! I loved how much you did love it. Everyone gives the third movie so much hate, but I just love it. For 11 years it did serve ( in my opinion) as a good ending of a great trilogy. I saw this movie in the theaters and the surround sound made the scenes with "Maureen " calling to Sidney so much creepier. No one guesses Roman ( and I didn't when I saw it either), but rewatching it, there are actually some great clues/ easter eggs/ call backs for him being the killer: 1. They really hammer in that the pictures of Sidney's mom were from 30 years ago and then reference Roman's 30th birthday more than once. 2. Just like Billy in the first movie, Roman is the first prime suspect to be arrested, only to later be cleared by phone records. 3. He says "be right back," tempting fate, just like Stu does in the first film. 4. He also is assumed dead, while not being shown being as explicitly killed as everyone else, just like Billy. To your question on why Roman has access to a vest, I always assumed there was at least one on the movie set for stunt work with blank gun shots, etc... Again, great reaction!!!!

Ik he gets a lot of hate, but Roman is my 4th favorite Ghostface. He’s very intelligent, resourceful, and determined as Ghostface. He doesn’t even need a partner, as he’s just so committed to his goal that he’s willing to do it on his own.

The start of this movie is low key nuts, Cotton finally gets everything he ever wanted and it all gets ripped away from him in like a microsecond, just because horror movies usually come in trilogys. That's some f**ked up sh1t.

I love the whole scene between Roman and Sidney. You can really feel that sibling vibe with the arguing back and forth and the fighting. One of the things that I LOVE about Sidney is she doesn't care who you are she's not afraid to talk shit back to them and can be savage lol (except for Randy he did that and got killed for shit talking on Billy with Ms. Loomis). She is mostly the one who doesn't beg for her life and actually fights back with balls (well, Gale and Dewey did a little bit in the 3rd, 5th, and 6th). The ending, though between Roman and Sidney, when they held each other's hand that right there is my all-time favorite moment between a hero/vilian, it felt so bittersweet between them both. Like you can see, she feels for him cause he was rejected by their mother, but at the same time, it's about survival and doing what she has to do to survive. For him it's he always wanted a family but got rejected by his birth mother, and then the jealousy took over. Also, it didn't help with it being his 30th birthday and became a trigger that made him snap and went after Sidney. - So, the original plan was Roman was just going to be the puppet master staying behind the curtain kind of thing and set it up to where Billy and his accomplice which ended up being Stu to ONLY go after Maureen Prescott. But after they killed her, they got a taste for it and them two decided to continue on for themselves with Sidney and their peers a year later. Scream 2 was a domino effect. It was just about revenge for Ms. Loomis and just hired Mickey as her lackey. Then Scream 3, it coming into his 30th birthday a reminder of being abandoned by his own mom and directing a movie about Sidneys life, it was Iike a mental trigger for him. He ended up going after her due to the jealousy of their mom only wanting Sidney and wanting nothing to do with him. Maureen even tried to convince him that his mom, "Rina Reynolds," was dead, so it struck a nerve, and that's exactly what he did. ( Roman : And once I supplied the motivation... all the kid needed was a few pointers. Have a partner to sell out in case he got caught (Stu), find someone to frame (Cotton), it was like he was making a movie. Sidney : You... this is all because of you. Roman : I'm a director, Sid, I direct. Sidney : Ah. Roman : I had no idea that they were gonna make a film of their own (Billy and Stu creating the image of Ghostface on their own to continue on with their killing). I mean, intoducing Sidney the victim, Sidney the survivor, SIDNEY THE STAR! )

41:33 If you check, in the moment she’s getting shot, as she turns over, you can tell she’s wearing. It’s why she turned over 😉 Otherwise we (and Roman) would easily notice a lack of bleeding 😏 Been fun watching. Glad you enjoyed. Among my favorites💙

I did love seeing the small appearance by Randy(even though it's on a pre-recorded message to Sydney) in this one. 20:20 - 21:11 I keep forgetting about the Carrie Fisher(RIP always) cameo in this movie. I don't know why so many people think the voice changer was so unbelievable.. Roman was a music video and movie DIRECTOR IN HOLLYWOOD. He could have easily gotten it from somewhere in the industry OR could have paid some tech genius to make him a personalized voice changer. Then, with collecting the voices to be able to use. Cotton has his own tv show, Gale is a tv reporter, Dewey worked onset with him, He probably looked into the stuff that Maureen (Rina Reynolds) was in to get hers, and then got Sidneys voice from the first time he called her when he used her mothers voice. It was one of the smartest plays on here. It really made you think.. are you really talking to that person, or is it ghostface masking behind their voices. Like when Roman called Sarah, it was like hiding in plain sight. We didn't know if it actually was him or someone else. He used Sidneys voice to lure Dewey and Gale to the mansion. So he could turn around to use them as bait to lure Sidney to him away from the cops. I knew right away it wasn't actually Sid. The caller, when talking to Dewey the caller mentioned being protected by the LAPD at the end of it the caller had a like a little chuckle when talking about the cops. Then the caller cut Dewey off and hung up on him. Sidney would never do that to Dewey.

I like this movie for what it is, but damn do I wish they used some of the alternate scenes from this movie. Especially the Sidney and Ghostface phone call. That one imo is better than the one used in the final cut.

Random unneeded comment but my mother knows one of the writers/directors of this movie personally. He lived in her neighborhood growing up which is about 15 minutes away. He also made the ring series. His name is Ehren Kruger. Just a cool little thing considering that the ring is my favorite movie haha

Location Location Fact: The house used during the climax, where most of the killing takes place, is the same house used as a school in Halloween H20: 20 Years Later (1998). View Askewniverse Fact: Jay (Jason Mews) and Silent Bob (Kevin Smith), the popular drug dealer characters from View Askewniverse franchise, appear as tourists visiting Sunrise Studios who spot Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox) and mistake her for Connie Chung. Disgraced Producer Bob Weinstein suggested this cameo on a whim and produced Jay And Silent Bob Strike Back (2001) shortly afterwards. Two For One Sale Fact: Due to Angelina Tyler (Emily Mortimer) no longer being the second killer in the film over multiple rewrites during filming, caused a plot hole with Roman Bridger (Scott Foley) being the only killer. He's somehow able to travel very long distances and practically teleport to different locations to commit all of these implausible murders and in many of these instances, Angelina was unaccounted for, as she was going to be the killer when Roman wasn't around. Hints of Angelina being the second killer still remain in the film. This has been the endearing critical complaint against this movie. However I don't think it's THAT bad of a movie and I think the final twist is acceptable to conclude the franchise. Regardless of the quality of the other movies, they have nothing to do with Maureen Prescott (Lynn McRee) and thus are not Scream movies.

Some fun facts for you. Fact 1: Sarah's character (Jenny Mccarthy) and the outfit she wore when she died was purposely made by Wes to make fun of Sarah Michelle Gellar from Scream 2. I guess him and SMG didn't really get along. Sarah Darling was only in two scenes and dressed similar like CiCi in Scream 2. Fact 2: Originally, it was only going to be a trilogy. That's why Randy was giving the rules of a trilogy cause that's what it was. The ending with leaving the door open was a symbolism how now she felt at peace and how she could finally live her life. Scream 4 and so on didn't come into the picture till years down the line when all of the other movies/TV shows were making remakes. So, of course, they had to poke fun with it lol. Fact 3: Wes did the Cameo video with Randy because he regretted killing him off so early and for the back lash he got from the fans, lol. That's why Tyson made that little comment about how "the killer was probably some pissed off fan that Randy was killed in Stab 2" lol. Fact 4: The original script was going to be Stu coming back that he survived the tv and had been in prison and orchestrated a cult to go after Sidney. Roman, the half-brother story was literally the last-minute change. Just before they started filming the 3rd the Columbine shooting massacre happened and it hit to close to home so they were forced to scrap that storyline because of it and that's why the kills weren't that extreme as the other movies. It was a rough time when that happened for the tv shows/horror cinema. So they changed it to Roman and Angelina as the killers where Angelina went to high school with Sidney. But they had to change it again during filming and left it only being Roman as the solo killer. That's why, in some scenes, Angelina was really sketchy. So for the 3rd, it was a solo killer. Fact 5: In the movie, they brought up a lot on how scripts kept getting changed for Stab 3. Well, they were also making fun with it because of the number of times they had to change the script between Scream 2 and 3. Fact 6: The mansion for the final act, the outside, and the upstairs hallway where Tyson was killed is the same one from Halloween H20 where Laurie was running a school. Fact 7. John Milton character was based off of Weinstien one of their producers. During first Scream filming, he harassed Rose McGowan (Tatum). Can you imagine how awkward it would be to produce a movie that's based about you in that manor? lol. Wes Craven and Kevin Williamson wanted to expose him for who he was. Fact 8. When Gale and Jennifer first met and Gale told her " I'm sorry about Brad Pitt I bet being single that was a pretty good fall back" That was another 1 liner for Jennifer Aniston to poke fun with being co-stars on "Friends" lol.

If you have not seen nightmare on elm street yet maybe that can be the next franchise you do West. Craven also made this and you can see some similar scenes from scream and nightmare.

Parker Posey is the only redeeming thing in this sequel. They had great original story planned and had to keep changing it. Soon as we saw Gale’s hair I knew somethin went terribly wrong with this film.

Also I'm going to tell you even though I just basically started watching cotton isn't dead yet actually his girlfriend isn't even dead yet when I post this but the reason the girl who plays Sid in the new stabbed the reason she looks so f****** suspicious is because originally she was partner but they ended up changing the ending there was a few changes made to the movie because of things going on in the us at the time and they ended up scrapping that he had a partner honestly why this one is probably my least favorite is mostly because I can never remember a motherfuking name in this movie it's just so many new characters who don't really leave a lasting impact on me that are just a father and I can't really remember a lot of their names despite me seeing this movie a ton of times also I feel like it's a little bit playing too much into trying to be funny and edgy and kind of failing because it seems like they were going for some humor that didn't really hit for me and I feel like this one I will give it credit with way the f*** ahead of its time with calling Hollywood out on its bulshit you know the whole casting couch thing like sleeping with someone to get a job but it's kind of funny because somebody who is very much known for that sort of s*** was actually involved in this movie and I cannot believe he allowed it I guess he allowed it so people would think he couldn't possibly have allowed it if he did that so he must be innocent

Scream 4

I will tell you right now this is my least favorite screen and a lot of people will tell you that so good to see that you are still going to be doing number for because I feel like a lot of people would need convincing after this one to come back cuz I had my reservations after this one and I'll tell you the opening scene of some other movies in the series after this four and six specifically I feel like the opening made me think the movie was going to suck but it didn't

Such a great franchise. This one is the weaker one out of all of them imo but still a good solid scream movie.
