I second this! Every single human in the world needs to see that performance 😭😭

So she did do 4 songs. Ice Cream Man at the Piano, then Prada which then switches into an unreleased song then the jazzy/swing part is the beginning of Escapism, she just sings it different from the original then the beat drops and she continues a more familiar version of Escapism.

Raye is the GOAT. The way she exudes happiness while performing because she loves what’s she’s doing and where she’s finally at and she DESERVES IT

Raye is unusual but so good. Appreciate your R&A. Faouzia suggested Raye quite a while back, that’s how I found her. Are you going to do Faouzia’s “Fur Elise (Live Performance)” ? I think it’s Faouzia’s best singing ever. She’s more in control of her vibrato now.

Luckily I've seen this performance by Raye 20 times. Because the way you constantly interrupt is pretty annoying. You play a few short bars, comment on it and repeat it and add a few short bars to it and play it again and comment again.

we all have our opinions, likes and dislikes, but i have never heard of her... and to be totally honest, if this is her best performance, then I'd hate to hear her worst. totally unimpressed.. it just sounds like EVERY OTHER FEMALE PERFROMER SINCE WINEHOUSE. But I love the analysis, because you are totally the best!! and I'm off to buy your music!! )))) BLESSINGS FROM TEXAS!!!

i mean as you said we all have our opinions but yours is crazy. if you really watched this performance of an artist who clearly treasures and enjoys her craft and all you can say is 'totally unimpressed' i'd love to see what actually impresses you. who are these other female performers that sound like her?
