Lmfao Jack Skellington was definitely a drama kid in Halloween Town school. He's so dramatic. 😂😂😂😂

Jack was Voiced by two people. Chris Sarandon, aka Prince Humperdink in Princess Bride, and Danny Elfman, the Composer for the film.

I LOVED this movie as a kid. Halloween is my fave holiday and have been watching horror since I was 3, so this was perfect for me. And so many good songs in it. Always fun watching Jay. We still gotta get her through some more classics and some more Black Classics, at that, cuz ma'am, there's some things she needs to see... lol

I think that Oogie Boogie(the Boogyman) had raised them and was such a bad influence on them. I mean even tge town song says "we look bad but we're not mean, in our town of Halloween", so they aren't supposed to be actually evil, just spooky. And that's why Oogie Boogie is the villain, because he was actually evil. And his evil influenced those kids behavior.

One of my favorite movies of all time. I have so much NMBC merchandise. I just got a Jack Skellington glow in the dark blanket my newest tattoo is jack. This is a Henry Sellick film not Tim Burton. Chris Sarandon is the voice of Jack & Danny Elfman did the singing

Danny Elfman did Jacks singing, he also wrote all the music too. He's famous for also writing the Simpson theme, the Men in Black and Beetlejuice.

Jack was voiced by two people , but the singing voice was done by Danny elfman who also wrote all the songs :) , I believe he does all the music for movies that Tim Burton made .. The nightmare before Christmas was also just a poem that he wrote and drew the art for fun at Disney but later it became the movie :) He said the idea came from when he went to a store and it had Halloween stuff on one side and Christmas on the other 😁 The nightmare before Christmas became so loved that Disney takes their haunted mansion ride and themes it after the movie , though sadly Disney world doesn’t 😢 so I’ve never got to see it , but boy I wish I could lol I can still remember seeing this trailer on my tv when I was only 10 and my parents took me to go see it , I still adore this movie and I’m 40 now 😂😂

The amount of times you said “Jack really stole Christmas” reminds me of my own first watch. There are actually a surprising amount of similarities between Jack and Grinch. I think the reason you thought 2008 is because that's when it was originally released on bluray. It was the first bluray I ever bought cause that shit was just starting to come out. I'm old so I saw this in theater as a kid! Also the music in this is still absolute perfection! (Also also I swear any couple that's dated at least 3 years will have a Jack and Sally Halloween costume photo! 😂)

Oogie boogie was from another holiday that was bug related and it was cancelled so Jack allowed him to live in Halloween town. There is a canon sequel to this movie in a Gameboy color game, that gives more backstory to oogie.
