The 15 year so called rivalry is media generated. Ronaldo was scoring 50-60 goals per season, which in itself is incredible. The comparison between who scores more is valid, the comparison between both as football players isn't, Messi's been playing an entirely different game to everyone else.

Hmm, if i were raised in a football environment like any other professional footballer, i would definitely be close to what Messi does with the ball. Already, my dribbling is unlike anything and my balance is just out of this world, I'm not bragging about my footballing abilities but i have the raw Messi-like talent. The problem is i was born in the wrong country down in Southern Africa that doesn't promote football like other nations would and or do. I've played in local teams and completely decimated the opponents with pace and dribbling. My shooting is unique coz I don't strike the ball in a traditional way, i just hit it with any part of my foot and it goes thru the posts and people just stand in awe, wondering how i did it.... I'm only 22, It sucks that my time is ticking away doing things i don't have any passion for, sometimes i think about disappearing and looking for opportunities to go abroad but its a scary world and my family wants me to become something other than a footballer😔 If my dream doesn't come to fruition, I'll trust my kids to carry it on for me.
