Crimson heart is their webtoon/storyline. Impurities is their bside from their 2nd mini album Antifragile and it is also a part of their storyline. (Just like frost by TXT)

Lesserafim is so lovable as a group since you are a fan of TXT. They are like the female version of TXT in terms of chaoticness

Having sakura be the one standing infront of "i wont hide myself" is really interesting after having watched the documentaries of their pre debut journey. :O I finished watching the docu earlier today so its only just clicked after watching the MV through your reaction again. I´m so glad you decided to get into them. You should definetely check out their live performances. Their stage presence is definetely one of the best in the industry. You dont have to react to it but i recomand their MMA a GAYO DAEJEON stages, they are live changing.

I only am kind of getting into Le Sserafim recently, too, so this was especially fun. (Edit: after I sent this, I realized a lot of comments already said some of the info here. Sorry for the repeats.) When you were talking about Chaewon's voice, I was _also_ thinking about the comparison to DC's Siyeon lmao same wavelength. DC and LS probably would have a lot of fun if they could meet...and their music is kind of thematically similar, which I hadn't thought about. Honestly, I still don't like "Anti-Fragile." I love the message and the MV is fun to watch, but I just am not a fan of the chorus. It irritates me _because_ it's too catchy...which is super subjective, obviously--there's nothing wrong with it. Just not my thing. "Impurities" is connected to their webtoon, _Crimson Heart._ Like how TXT has their fantasy story, _The Star Seekers,_ LS also has a webtoon/webnovel. The lyrics in "Impurities" are obviously able to be read just as a self-empowerment song, but after having binged more than half of _Crimson Heart_ literally earlier today because I had nothing to do at work, I can say the lyrics are also full of references to the webtoon lmao. Personally, I adore this song, though, and have since the first time I heard it. I wasn't a fan of "Unforgiven" when it came out, but it's grown on me a lot. I really enjoy it both musically and conceptually. The line about belief being a sin is also my favorite, but honestly, the post-chorus is also great...especially because it's so easy to chant. (In case you haven't looked it up yet) Like you were talking about, Eve, Psyche, and the Bluebeard's wife were all women who were punished in mythology for being too curious and pushing too far (out of their place). Eve ate the forbidden fruit, seeking to understand; Psyche was abandoned and tormented because she wanted to see her husband's face (the painting at 42:18, 42:40 and other spots); and the Bluebeard threatens to (in some versions, does) kill his wife when she uses a key to enter a forbidden room and finds the corpses of his previous wives. All three characters are commentary on women and knowledge being disruptive to a woman's "place" in society.

so happy to know you're getting to them. their discography is so strong, and the girls are lovely, smart, funny, hard-working human beings. (I'm already subscribed to your channel and your patreon because how could I not when I'm a moarmy with a soft spot for skz that likes kpop in general a lot. knowing that we're gonna get content from you also on le sserafim only makes me even happier.)

Thanks for the watch and being up to getting into them. I fell down the rabbit hole in the begging of May 🕳️ and now a Full Fearnot - fandom name. Pretty much watched everything I could find (Japan interviews/debut in Japan hard to find for me). They have a lot of content and I mean a lot. They’re motto they created for themselves randomly one day early in the Fearless promotions “Life is Content”. They want to share alot with the fans as much as they are allowed to (when I first heard this I was like concerned because you know how some fans be and I didn’t want that pressure for them as well). 1- Their Debut Showcase isn’t in Eng sub. Even till now they haven’t subbed it. 2) I would recommend the documentary they put out or watching -thesafecaves self-made video- you could do that one first or second 3- the have a lot of backstage/behind the scenes for a lot of things: award shows, MVs, photo shoots,etc. These are found on their page in “Episodes” or short ones “Leplays”. They also have behind the scenes of their Studio choom/comeback show on their respective sites which are also cool to check out too. 4: They film/edit/subtitle their own self vlogs or unit vlogs. Which can be found out on their page on utube. 5: I would watch the dance practice video of MAMA 2022 because the camera work for the actual stage was shit. It kept zooming out on dance breaks. You can also, watch the other award dance practices, but I would watch the award’s performances before those because the rest was good 😊. 6: The have a lot of variety episodes outside of their channel. Ex: My first MaMa Le SSERAFIM- which I think they started doing for all 4th gen GG that debuted in 2022. Silence of the Idol, and I am blanking on the others but I’m sure u can find them 😊 6) They have their own Variety Show called : Leniverse that just came back and comes out every Wednesday. It kind of fills the time between each comeback. So when it has a last ep you can kinda figure out somethings coming. 7) They also have a series called Day-Off - which the team prepare a mini vacation for the girls once they’re done with promos for their album. We are waiting for their Unforgiven Day-Off to drop soon. They recently shot it after they got done with a fansign event in China recently. 8) right now they’re preparing for their First tour which is an Asia tour. 9) They’re about to drop a mini Japanese Ep album of unforgiven soon with one new title track - jewelry - which they put out recently. 10) earning calls sheet for Hybe came out and it seems Le sserafim has another comeback first week of Oct. I’m not sure on this it’s just what other Fearnots put together. Sorry for the long post if u see this. ❤

The title "Eve, Psyche & Bluebeard's wife" simply refers to women who lusted after something they shouldn't. That's the whole concept of this song. Eve, of course, refers to the biblical Eve who was tempted by Satan and took the forbidden fruit. Psyche comes from the myth of Psyche and Eros. Psyche was the most beautiful girl in her kingdom, which made Aphrodite jealous and sent her son, Eros (who is also known as Cupid), to shoot Psyche with his arrow, thus making her fall in love with the ugliest man in the world. Eros, however, at the sight of the beautiful Psyche, accidentally cut himself with his own arrow and fell in love with her. Eros didn't want to do his mother's will anymore, so he turned to Apollo for advice. Apollo made Psyche's suitors lose their romantic interest in her, and although everyone praised her beauty, she received no marriage proposals, even though her two younger sisters were already married. Eros didn't know how to approach the girl, so he figured that he would appear to her only at night with the lights off. He warned her never to light them or he would leave and never come back. Psyche was delighted with the attention and love she received from him, but when she told her sisters about the secret suitor, they planted a seed of doubt in her heart, saying that her beloved could be a terrible monster. Eventually, her curiosity won out and the next night, when Eros came to her, she turned on the lights. So we have another example of wanting something that's forbidden. As for Bluebeard's wife, in the Bluebeard fairy tale he is a wealthy and powerful nobleman who has been married six times to beautiful women who have all mysteriously vanished. When he visits his neighbor and asks to marry one of his daughters, they are terrified. After hosting a wonderful banquet, the youngest decides to be his wife and goes to live with him in his rich and luxurious palace in the countryside, away from her family. Bluebeard announces that he must leave for the country and gives the palace keys to his wife. She is able to open any room with them, each of which contain some of his riches, except for an underground chamber that he strictly forbids her to enter lest she suffers his wrath. He then goes away, leaves the palace, and the keys in her hands. She invites her sister and her friends and cousins over for a party. However, she is eventually overcome with the desire to see what the secret room holds, and she sneaks away from the party and ventures into it. So again, wanting something that's forbidden. It's a very interesting title for a song and I was actually surprised that so many people don't know who Psyche is, because I've known the name and the myth about her for years. But I guess not everyone is as obsessed with Greek mythology as I am 😂

Eve, psyche & the Bluebeard’s wife is actually about how these people broke a rule or something, Eve is the one who ate the fruit when she was not supposed to I think, idk about psyche and I know that Bluebeard would always tell his wives to not open a mysterious door, of course, they didn’t listen and would find Bluebeard’s other wives that’s why they say “I wish for what’s forbidden”

as another comment mentioned, psyche loved eros but she wasn't meant to see him at night bc she had gotten married to a beast (eros, although he wasn't really a monster) bc aphrodite (eros' mother) was jealpus of psyches beauty. eros showed psyche a lot of love and psyche would tell her sisters how sad she was that she couldn't see his face. they too got jealous and convinced psyche to kill her beast husband. psyche was about to go through with it, but then she saw eros' face with the lamp she was holding in order to see to commit the murder. she discovered that he was a god, and once eros woke up, he got angry at psyche and he left due to feeling betrayed. psyche fits into the theme of wishing for what's forbidden bc she wished to see eros' face even though he forbid it. she broke that rule, and even after that, she searched for eros and discovered he was with aphrodite. she gave her 3 impossible tasks to complete in order to see him, and psyche, aftwr fininidhing the firsr 2 tasks, wrnt to the undetworld to do the third task, yet she ended up falling asleep due to opening up a box that supposedly had a beauty elixir in it (though it was actually morpheus (god of sleep and dreams) in the box). eros heard about that and went to rescue psyche, and zeus, so amazed at this sight of true love, made psyche immortal so that the couple could be together forever. so yeah lol

They really are just a great group. Their songs are very catchy in the voice. There are a few more songs you might want to listen to: No Celestial, The Great Mermaid, Blue Flame, Sour grapes In their latest album "UNFORGIVEN". there are some interesting songs too. If you are also going to respond to other groups I can recommend NMIXX and Ive. Ive also has two members from ex-IZ*ONE. Their latest full-length album is definitely worth a listen. Their songs are mixed pop. The vocal and dance skills of the participants are at a high level. They can also rap.

I think one of the best qualities they have is that the confidence they show seem genuine. In a lot of girl groups that go to this direction of "chique" and "dangerous" tend to be very awkward imo, only few of them can pull it off. I feel like LE SSERAFIM's confidence seem natural and not forced at all, which adds a whole new level of coolness to their performances.

They released an English version of eve psyche and the Bluebeard’s wife plus yunjin is a co-writer and co producer of the song

Here are the members and what I know about them (guys, you can add some trivia about the other members as well) Sakura (Japanese): the oldest, former HKT48 member, participated in Produce 48 (PD48 for short) and became a member (for 2 and a half years) of the show's group, IZ*ONE Chaewon (Korean): former Woollim Entertainment trainee, participated in PD48 and became a member (for 2 and a half years) of the show's group, IZ*ONE Yunjin (Korean-American(?)): has some background in opera singing, participated in PD48 but was eliminated Kazuha (Japanese): a ballerina Garam (Korean): I don't know much about her but she left the group weeks after their debut because of the bullying scandal people were involving her in (sorry to the Garam fans) Eunchae (Korean): the youngest, I don't know much about her as well (sorry to the Eunchae fans)

kazuha did ballet for 15 years professionally, she was either almost accepted or she was accepted into some prestigious dance schools but she chose to leave to become an idol. also yunjin was gonna go to college but once hybe contacted her she decided not to (I think)

Hi, I am back. Good reaction, ty. This song grew on me. I did not like it at first. I became a fan of Unforgiven and than i watched guides and the YT short documentary. Catchy song. Nice choreo. So they basically female form of BTS. =0p lol. But honestly their synchronicity reminds me so much of BTS. How they talk to each other and feel about each other their synergy is so good. So ur on the pickier side. That tends to happen with Bts fans, I have no idea why. I remember when I only stanned bts, it was suuper hard to really get into another group. That completely changed when I found Lesserafim. I’m not saying this is the reason you do, but you might have more trouble digesting Lesserafim’s songs off the bat because you associate them too much with Bts. Army’s usually explore other groups because they find similarities in some type of aspect to Bts. The moment something doesn’t align with what Bts would do, they usually get thrown off. Lesserafim has seriously catchy music. I was one to not get it right away as well. Didn’t pull me in on first listen. Then, I let it marinate. Let it digest. Their discography is now top tier of what I’ve heard so far in Kpop🫶🏾 I love this group

Please boost the microfone volume of your voice a bit more, it was a bit hard to hear. When I up the volume to hear you then the music is too loud.

Unpopular opinion - Unforgiven should NOT be called the full album. Plucking out the reworks and replays, which are there for gosh knows why, it is merely two songs more than the other two EPs. I'd gladly see the product called "Trilogy Revisited" with stuff that has been made here, remasters, reworks, divided into three parts and whatnot. Just don't call 20 min play a "full album" 🥲
