Heaven's Feel is my favorite version of Fate/Stay Night. Salter, Rider, absolutely hype moments, and crazy good animation.

23:23 Shinji was pushing his duties onto Emiya who wasn't even a member of the Archery Club anymore. He expected resistance, complains and likely had a collection of good lines to mentally brownbeat Shirou into doing the job regardless. He has a ginormous inferiority complex and any means he can show his superioriy. Simply put he's a bully and instead of feeling the harrassment Shirou just accepts to help without a complaint.

I swear, this probably started due to the old man seeing Shirou and realizing Kiritsugu didn't managed to do a single thing he claimed he would do after winning the war. Either out of spite or disappointment.

Would love to watch these but the chat is trash.

Think of this trilogy as an alternative way of how the 5th grail war could have played out. In the original Visual there were 3 routes, Heavens Feel is the last you unlock and builds upon Shirous character even more.

After finishing HF, Carnival Phantasm is a good refresher 😂

OMG😂....you have watched 40+ episodes of Fate/Zero and UBW altogether, you still can't remember the relationship between Rin and Sakura?🙈 One tip, strongly suggest you to pause less/read the chat watching Heaven's Feel, it condensed the whole arc the length of UBW into less than 6 hours, every line/every scene has important info, once you miss it, you will be full of questions 😅

Nobody knows ANYTHING behind Shinji's relationship to Shirou, huh. Shinji in that scene was trying to instigate Emiya to do something, he wanted Emiya to get mad at how Shinji treated him. Shirou will never meer the standards of a normal person so that frustrates Shinji and makes himself even lower in his own eyes since all he is is trash with a family name.

God I would love if you did Kara No Kyoukai series as others have mentioned. It's a part of the fate universe (not related to grail wars) but I honestly think it'll be too complex for you to watch. Despite being made in 2008 ufotable makes it look better than modern day anime, with some of the best camera work I've ever seen in anime.

Tbh I assumed she was there to avoid Shinji, but her being there as Zouken's spy also makes sense. Idk about school sending her; I feel like she's in middle school and he's in high school when this starts. Different uniforms serves as evidence.

@justinmullins1112 welcome to Japan and She's just 1 year younger. They have different uniforms for males and females, Rin has the same uniform as is in the same year as Shirou.

Ah it finally arrived. Heavens feel let's go

All of Fate is part of a multiverse, together with all of Kinoku Nasu's other works and more. So in a sense everything is canon, just potentially part of seperate parallel universes. The only possible exception might be the Carnival Fantasm stuff, I suppose. Those are probably just nonsensical fun crossover events. While it is exceptionally difficult, it is possible to interact with other parallel universes, or even fully travel there. Like Archer Emiya for example. He wasn't just pulled into the past of his own universe, but transported over to a parallel universe, in a manner of speaking. 21:00 The beginning is the exact same as UBW, since the point of divergence, that splits UBW away into it's own seperate timeline is whether Shirou does or does not use his command seal to stop Saber from attacking Archer, right after she's summoned. If he does, that's going into UBW and if he doesn't, Saber severely injures Archer, rendering him unable to intervene in the Berserker fight, which leads into either the Fate or Heaven's Feel Routes. That is also why the anime skips so much early on, since it would just be 1 to 1 repeats of what you already saw in UBW, or Fate/Stay Night by Studio Dean (if you watched that), except prettier. And while graphically updated scenes are nice, there are much better things to use their limited screentime on, like flashing out Shirou and Sakura's past, prior to the start of the grail war for example, as the studio did. It also means everything we learn about Sakura's past, everything her brother did to her, everything her "grandfather" did to her, the events of Fate/Zero, everything she experienced before this point of divergence... it all happened in UBW too, Shirou and Rin just never learned of it, and thus didn't step in... which is a rather depressive thought. But at least it appears like the "little" issues that pop up for Sakura starting the next movie did not became active in the other two routes, or was delayed until after the other routes reached their respective end. Why is Shinji so bad? Well... not that it justifies it, but he did have a rather unfortunate childhood. He comes from a once prestigeous line of mages, but is born without ANY magic circuits, which makes him incapable of taking up the family traditions and also leads to considerable neglect by everyone in his family, leading to lonelyness and depression. Then he gets an adopted younger sister, whom he dotes on initially... but then he finds out that Sakura is being trained as the next head of the family. She's getting all the attention, recognition and magic training he craved for, and while on some level he recognizes that it's his father's and Zouken's fault, he doesn't dare act out against them, so he instead vents his frustration and rage against Sakura, at first just in small ways, but since she just let him do whatever he wanted, without resisting, things went a little worse bit by bit. This slow escalation also explains how Shirou and Shinji could ever have been friends, because Shinji used to be a better person in the past... followed by a period in which his bad side was concentrated solely on Sakura alone, but once Sakura started crushing on Shirou, this bad side began to expand to Shirou too, albeit to a much lesser degree. So it is in a way understandable how Shinji became such a horrible person, but how he chose to deal with his situation is still inexcusable and he deserves to be punished for what he did. Caster summoned a fake assassin and as a Servant herself wasn't qualified to be a true master to begin with. So when someone summoned the true assassin, it manifested inside of the fake assassin's body and then burst out of him. But the circumstances of true assassin's summoning were so unusual, it came with a couple of caveats. One is that both his summoner and fake assassin's summoner - Caster - had some power over him, which is why he had to force Medea to release her claim on him. The other is that he came out a bit incomplete, which among other things impacted his ability to speak. His way of fixing himself is to eat hearts. That's why he's more coherent, after beating Lancer and munching on his heart. His noble phantasm Zabaniya allows him to summon a copy of the heart of a person or being, who's chest he touched with his weird right arm. Anything he does to the copied heart, will also happen to the original heart. Which means once he touched your chest, you're basically dead already. The reason how Saber was able to avoid being killed by Zabaniya, was by slicing his arm, before it could touch her chest to begin with... but unfortunately, that allowed the ribbons to drag her down to be devoured by whatever that thing in the lake is.

Luke has surpassed me in my own favorite anime, I have never been able to watch this one legit and refuse to dl it, I look forward to this, it'll be new to us both.

We have a recent footage of a gas leak "mist" on Korea, would be interesting if U looked it Luke, looks weirdly like Shirou's flashbacks.

Heaven's Feel is my favourite between the three Fate/Stay Night stories. It's crazy, it's dark and I love it. The adaptation is phenomenal. As expected of Ufotable.

Team Caster had more screentime in the movie than in the VN.

Originally there are 3 routes.... First time line.......Saber route Second time line......Rin route Third time line .......Sakura route The original fate stay night adapted the first route....but it was not faithful to the source material.....cut a lot of content.

Assasin is actually second weakest physically servant, only reason he is so good is because of plot and having all cards stacked on his side(better explained in VN). And whoever called what shadow was doing Unlimited Void is a crackhead , it’s like comparing couching baby(Gojo and his technique) against Hydrogen Bomb(Shadow and imaginary dimension) , even Kiritsugu or Kayneth could solo JJK much less Shadow.

Shinji mostly just hates Sakura, and abused her because she is the Matous designated successor while he can't be because of his genetics his jealously and resentment manifested as a inferiority complex he started hating Sakura after Sakura started going to Emiya's house everyday after school, he began to hate and bully emiya , in the Fate world mages are humans who have a LOT of magic circuits and these magic circuits control how much mana they can output and also what spells they can cast and Shinji has barely any more circuits than the average human in the Fate universe, and what magic circuits he has had atrophied because he wasn't practicing magecraft Here's the wiki, while it doesn't state how many Shinji has, the average muggle in the fate verse has 0->1 magic circuits and Shinji is implied to have more than the average muggle but way less than what a normal mage has and many of his magic circuits are damaged and can;t be used because of poor genetics Average Magus: 20.[9] Aoko Aozaki: Implied to have no more than Touko does.[10] Cornelius Alba: Implied to have more than both Touko and Araya do.[2] Luviagelita Edelfelt: 100 in total.[11] Rin Tohsaka: 40 main Magic Circuits and sets of 30 sub Magic Circuits.[12] Maximum output is of 1000 units of Magical Energy.[13] Sakura Matou: About the same number[14] and maximum output[13] as Rin's. @@dee6561its dark for sure wym? The strongest part of heavens feel is that the dark stuff feels real. As in it’s not so over the top that you lose any empathy and are numb to the content on screen. Sakuras pain feels very real.

I haven't seen the movies yet bc I was waiting for them all to come out and forgot, so I don't know what parts were censored or not. What makes it so traumatic is how deep and real her pain and suffering is. My one friend from high school never finished the VN, so people need to be warned.

@@dee6561 I haven't played the VN but I have played Saya no Uta and Chaos;Head Noah which both arguably have more disturbing scenes then Heaven's Feel (Specifically Saya's middle and Chaos;Head's Kozue route) but something about Lost Butterfly made it one of the only thing I've watched that made me feel physically ill - that includes any gory movies or games, only other was that fingernail torture scene in Higurashi and School Days just being shit. Lost Butterfly is my favourite entry in the Fate animes though.

Man rewatching and rereading fate kinda shows how much of a jobber most servants are including saber, how the story always hypes her up but the story never does anything with her, she losses to almost ever servant. Worst of all her opponent is gil and she only wins like once, while her best attack cant event do ship even tho its hyped up by the lore as this super op attack, while fate zero treats her with zero respect like a little girl that creies when tyranical kings laught at her like she would care. Saber needs like a single win

After these, you could watch the fate/kaleid movie, oath under snow, *the movie only.* It's a prequel and is not sus unlike the main fate/kaleid anime

No, oath under snow while chronologically a prequel is build upon the assumption of previous Fate/Kaleid. He should watching it based on the release order.
