I heard somewhere that Eddie Murphy was once pitched a movie where Foley teamed up with Crocodile Dundee. I’d say we dodged a bullet there but the ideal movie character for Foley to crossover with would’ve been John McClane.

Ironically, there was a black hockey player in the NHL going back to 1958 and his name was Willie O'Ree. There haven't been many, but more recently, Jarome Iginla was a 50 goal scorer multiple times, PK Subban was a beast on defense and Wayne Simmonds was a good power forward. There have been others. There was a black league in the 1890s, but O'Ree is widely considered the Jackie Robinson of Hockey and to this day promotes diversity in the game. There are a number of black players in the NHL right now. The team I cheer for, the Canucks, have Dakota Joshua, who is a terrific, gritty forward who can score. He's pretty popular in the Vancouver area and until he resigned a couple of weeks ago, fans were freaking out that he might leave as a free agent.
