A right good eclectic mix of styles and colours. Loved the green dress and was lovely on you. Also loved the brown top but those sleeves 🙈 polka-dot dress reminded me of a dressing gown. The one outfit that was absolutely gorgeous was the one you were wearing 👌 xx

The green dress (first one) was beautiful on you, I’d shorten the sleeves & put a baby pink jacket or cardi with it, also the old reliables black or white 🥰🥰

Yeah, I've noticed Shein offers a nunber of collections. Thanks for doing a series on them to share. Both dresses were pretty, but you were right about something being off....Will take a closer look at this line. Not sure if it's for me.

I'm a medium spring but I can wear autumn (muted) colors. But my great colors are the clear brights of spring. The long jumper with the high slit would look good with faux leather leggings. Have you considered getting a small pr of shoulder pads? They can do wonders for shape balance. I have wondered about Lune vs Frenchy vs SXSY vs Vacay, etc. Sometimes the style and price differences are small.

I love how you always see the positive. I thought I would detest the green but it didn’t look bad. The rest were a bit off. I’ve noticed here in the uk the likes of tesco matalan sainsburys have all picked there game up. For me m and s occasionally have nice stuff but quality v price not great. Think matalan is my current fav sports wear great and reasonable some nice pinstripe pointe trousers and fab knitwear among lots of others I could buy. Dresses Roman originals are my happy place. I’ve been debating getting a top like the black split but still hunting. Nice vid chick

Thank you deb. I gave quite a drive to get to most shops. Have to cross into Northern Ireland to get Sainsbury’s, matalan, Asda etc so don’t go there often. Glad you gave luck with them x

I totally relate to the gaping in the bust area. It’s hard to find something that works in the shoulder and the bust. Ugh!

I love the green dress..its a really good fit. Also like the brown jumper but the neck area looked too exposed to me forbthe style. I even like the sleeves. Good to try different stuff..

Hi Marleen not my favourite haul, although it could have been stunning. I’m looking for some wide leg trousers , went to primark today but again that was disappointing too. At least hubby will be happy this time x

Lol just read my post back before posting and realised I have practically reviewed everything lol hope you don't mind 😁 I liked the green dress.. great colour, but feel it may have been a little see though.. I think the waist was also too low sitting more on the hips. I am the same height and shape as you and feel that that would widen my hips. I love polka dots but didn't like that dress, reminds me a little of a dressing gown... such a shame... I like the trousers. Love wide legs trousers in general, not sure why, but on me they just don't look right... it's odd as you are same height and those looked fabulous on you. The double belt is interesting, have never seen that before.. Personally I don't think it emphasises your tummy.Ibam actually tempted to go and maybe try these and give the wide leg another go.. Woah... that split lol.... I don't like the black dress. You said it felt really soft, but I felt it looks a bit cheap... Shein is so hit and miss ....That jumper looks fab from the back and makes your bum look fab.. but I don't like the front. The orange dress??? I like it and hate it at the same time... It does suit you though... I don't like the gold shirt... I always feel I want a bit of shimmer and sparkle, but have never found anything that wows me... I am so glad I found your channel, I love it that you show us the garments that look fab and also not so fab... Have you ever ordered from cider curve? ...I have had some lovely pieces from them.

Really fed up with Shein,I find their sizing is way of,I'm usually a 2/3xl,but those size are way to tight on a large bust,and way to short in length,I got a delivery of ten items today,and all ten are being returned,really disappointed.

Nope hun, you can’t do that (and shop successfully) on shein. You need to know your measurements and use them. I have videos on how to shop on shein as well as taking your measurements (both linked in the description box) if you need help xx

Marleen and sweeties, for the green dress do not use a safety pin but a broche!!! You can also vary the brooch if you want (also the size of it), have fun, experiment. But to be honest (maybe it's because I can not see you in person), I do not like this color on you, it makes you look sick. It's not warm enough! You should try another kind of green and warm colors. If you do not know what colors would suit you, get pieces of fabric (plain fabric, no motifs!), different colors of fabric, put those one by one on your sholder in daylight and in front of a mirror. Look good how the color combines with your skintone. Try f.i. warm orange, warm yellow, warm toned colors. But also other colors, even the cold tones to see the difference. The right color is so important, no matter if you are a winter, spring or other type!!! I do never look at that but I do what I just said and that way I could help my niece who always wore black. She stills wear black but much less and always on the bottom of her body, never on top! She was over the moon with that tip and everyone gives her compliments now! Even is you are a bit older (like her and me + 60) it is good to wear the right color, it lifts you up. And bright colors make you feel better!!! People, just try and experiment, also wear what you like no matter if others do not like it, only: stick with the right colors, that is the only must do!!! Wanna wear a tutty if you are older? Wanna wear blingbling when you go groocery shopping? DO IT!!! I been doing that for many years and been happy with it all that time, people that see me love it too, I make them happy they say. That is why I advice you to wear fun colors, fun clothing, enjoy it. - The brown sweater I did like on you, did not mind the sleeves at all! - Polkadot dress: NONONO!!!! - The color of the trousers: WOW, so pretty and would suit you as color on top! The trousers would look great with sneakers, dear!! Or flat booties (kind of bikerboots (contrast!!)), ballerina(s, slip-ons ....... - The black jumper you could also wear with leggings (normal leggings or with a bit bell-bottoms like it's IN nowadays). Or a pencilskirt the same lenght of the dressjumper. The sleeves, again, I do not mind but I do not like the neckband, it's to high and when you have boobs like us, it's nog good to wear high up neckbands (like this one). If you do want something use a colorful scarf in the 'cleavage'. - Right color for you! Wear this dress with opaque stockings, if you can in the same color (lengthens the silhouette) and shoes (also in the same color or brown and accessoires with brown too, f.i. a belt or/and a bag), with a heel (not to high!). Spruce it up!! And like I said: EXPERIMENT with clothing, accesseries, colors!!!!!! And yes, chance the cleavage, remember: we look best with V-necks!!! Never high neck clothing, NEVER!!! We look bulky with that. TIP: wear it ALWAYS with self confidence so you would never look like a child sweetie!!! - Gold is a much better color for you cause = WARM TONE!!! So again, good choise. But the shirt itself is a big no go!! You should better have choosen a larger size (for the bust!) than this size because this is not pretty. If you want it more taillored you could do it or let a friend/family/else do that tailloring for you. A bit of 'hanging' sholders are not bad! You can sew in very thin shoulder pads if necessary, that is what I do (and it's not bad at all!!). Love your videos sweet Marleen, thanks so much. Lots of love from Pinkie
