In this video, I visit Hocking Hills State Park in southeast Ohio for the very first time. Hocking Hills State Park, near Logan, Ohio, is one of the top state parks to visit in the state of Ohio due to the many gorges, waterfalls, and rock formations found in the park. Visiting the park makes for a great weekend getaway in Ohio as well as from nearby states like Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania.
There are many hiking areas in Hocking Hills State Park, but I go to the most popular parts of the park. I start off by visiting the Old Man's Cave Loop which takes you by two great waterfalls, the Lower Falls and the Upper Falls, as well as Old Man's Cave.
After visiting Old Man's Cave, I drive over to Cedar Falls which is the largest waterfall in the park. The hike to the waterfall is not too lengthy, but the reward is tremendous.
Last, I head over to Ash Cave to check out one of the caves in Hocking Hills State Park which has some water crashing down to the ground from the top of the cave.
