Great reaction. Your point about this song not feeling like kpop, i felt the exact same way, ex. no rap, all english. They are 9 years in and one of the most senior girlgroups now, they do they own thing with their own style. the best way to think of twice is not as a kpop group, but just a seasoned, professional artists who just make really good music. If you take the time you will find a treasure trove of amazing songs. they have 300+ songs now at this point

The last pre release was also an all English song Moonlight Sunrise and they won Billboard Breakthrough Artist of 2023, notice a trend. The member you fell in love with is are Taiwanese Maknae (youngest) Tzuyu (pronounced Chewy, yea like the big guy) and she's 24, most Kpop artist are about to retire at that age. They have literally and figuratively out grown K-pop. That doesn't mean you won't love their songs Twice IS feel good music, you can't listen to Twice and not smile (and I'm talking about the songs not the visuals but that too).
