This song is so so amazing. There are days it makes me cry because of the lyrics but today, I'm smiling. It's Thanksgiving and I have so much to be thankful for. A year ago, I remember pretending to be fine at the family Thanksgiving party with a broken foot, intense shoulder pain that I'd been dealing with for over a year, and oncoming depression that I was hiding with everything I could which only made it worse later. This year, my foot is fine after the surgery, my shoulder is recovering amazingly and I'm out of physical therapy, I'm almost done with counseling because my depression is gone and I've learned how to manage my anxiety. I'm 3 weeks away from finishing this semester, then I have one more until I graduate. I am so blessed and so thankful!!!! No matter how dark things may be, the light does come. Spring always comes after winter.

I had the prilvledge of hearing this song live in citi field and Jimin cried singing this song and I remember everyone around me sobbing. Truly a surreal moment. I wish we can experience the love yourself tour again. It was truly one of the best concerts I've ever been to and the love and passion each member had for singing this song made all worthwhile. Easily one of the best songs ever from the discography, can listen to it all day

I know someone that went to the love yourself tour and everyone yelling "you cant stop me loving myself" on top of their lungs will forever be iconic to them, (also jin's epiphany: I'm the one i should love, when i see an entire stadium singing that, I get chills)

Oh my goooosh! You do this little sigh right before you get emotional because you realize just how meaningful the lyrics are, and it's honestly so sweet and so relatable. I struggle so much with acknowledging that I can't take away the pain of the people I love. I can love and support them and pray for them and be there whenever they need me, but that's it. I cannot lighten their pain or their burden, and it is so hard for me to recognize and accept that.

Namjoon has said he's struggled with both depression and suic*dal thoughts in the past. As someone who struggles with the same thing it just makes me love him even more. The fact that he's been able to overcome it, and is open about his struggles, makes me so thankful. Mental health is so important and it's vital that it becomes more normalised to talk about our struggles.

BTS is infamous for making people cry with their songs. Most of their songs have happy melodies but poignant and sad lyrics that somehow carry a sense of hope. 💜

I have always gained so much strength from this song to the point that I had part of the lyrics tattooed on my ribs. I have “the me of yesterday, the me of today, the me of tomorrow, I am learning how to love myself. When ever I feel down I lay a hand over it and close my eyes and think of this song. It is so empowering.

This is my fave BTS track-- the lyrics are beautiful and when they sing it, its like a caring friend is speaking to me-- the lyrics is the best advice for everyone-- 😊💜💜💜
