First Time Reaction The Judds Love Can Build A Bridge (MOVED TO TEARS) | Dereck Reacts

Hi all welcome back to another video Dereck Reacts back at it again! This time around we take a look at another very deep but emotional reaction with a first time react to The Judds and their 1990 song "Love Can Build A Bridge." But this time it's 2022 at the CMT awards and both take to stage together one last time. Probably the most heart wrenching song of togetherness and love; this one has me deeply saddened. Naomi leaves behind a treasured legacy, but also amazing music like this one for us to cherish. See this react now!

So glad to see you react to this song/performance. Not only their final big hit on the radio before Wynonna's solo career took off, but also their last performance together. Heartbreaking to know Naomi is gone, especially the day before their induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame. You can see a certain sadness in Naomi's eyes -- not her usual self on stage.

As I set here and reflect, Ms. Naomi knew this was going to be her last performance. I can say that since her passing, I can hear harmonies more than the lead parts in any recording and live performances.

They literally just announced a tour. They were also being inducted into the Country Music Hall Of Fame. Wynonna annouced that she was going to continue the tour. I am SO glad she did. I Went to 5 shows on the tour! Watch this song but from the Final Tour! They played a video of Naomi and you could hear her singing with Wy.

This is the best version of this beautiful song...this is bitter sweet because it was the last performance the two would have and it was the moment they had been waiting for too. Country Music Hall of Fame. I know it was pulled by request of Wynona. I can understand that it may bring her great pain to watch it or she doesn't want her mother to be remembered or branded by mental illness and the stigma of suicide. I also wish she understood that this song, this one particular song only this version that is banned gave so many people hope in terms of suicide. I think it has a lot of power in not only how they performed but also how Naomi battled against her lifelong struggle with mental health issues. It is appreciated because we see her struggle and we can see her pain but we didn't see it as they performed this when she was still with us only after we watched it as we all hurt and grieved for her and her family. I think she would want this to still be up because she had the soul that would always help and give no matter what. She left a great legacy and the way she died is part of her story. Rest in Peace!! Your job here was done and you went home!!!

After Naomi had to retire in the early 90s due to her hep C, Wynonna went on to a great solo career too. Wynonna has always had pipes, one of the greatest singers in our lifetime. Try her solo song, Tell Me Why, it's bit more pop and really showcases Wy's voice.

I guess playing it safe. U should hear her years ago. She had pipes. She's always gonna be a great singer. But like the rest of our bodies...voices age too
