hi this is a real location. also you could watch their WYAT behind the scene. they were hilarious. they learned to use rolle blades and PABLO made a big hole on the wall when he lose his balance. that hole became iconic becoz it still stays until they have their own company building.

Thank you for your RV❤ Indeed, SB19 always brings in a fluid, organic and fun aspect elevating their MV's. The setting of the MV is an actual diner in Makati, Philippines. When I first watched this MV, it quickly reminded me of Mel's Diner here in San Francisco, too bad though the branch here in our city has closed down after the pandemic, but the one in San Francisco I think may still be open. In this MV, I like how some lyrics of the song are floating or added in like decorations around the particular scene, like the very first part when Ken entered, you read it aa Disco..but it was acrually the word Disconnected..at the very end of the MV where each of them are in their own rooms..Ken is showing with pizza and donuts, these two products are also among their current major sponsors: Pizza Hut and Dunkin Donuts. Stell shows one of his actual favorite hobbies which is baking. Josh is also a gaming enthusiast..so that final scene shows aspects of their varied personalities. It is also always so much fun to watch their concerts in the Philippines because they get to portray their stage presence with their back up dancers, the Iskouts. Thankfully all the boys are all such talented dancers too and commands such impressive stage showmanship, so whenever they are on tour abroad or invited to international performances, they can ably perform with so much passion and impressive choreography even just the 5 of them alone on stage as they vocally show their prowess too.

I have to add to this that there's nothing wrong with reacting and having other listening experiences. I have many reactions that have made me who I am today in this space. On my personal level I feel closing myself off to one artist is not the way to learn and grow to appreciate culture and the space. Now with me I'm in the zone right now. I'm all over SB19. But I would be lying to myself and everyone else if I said I would never react to a different artist again. I would say the best! One of my sayings is that "Bts taught me to love myself, sb19 teaches me to step out of my comfort zone" I have to say music has been really breaking me into some new stuff that I never thought I would do. It's an addition onto life that is welcomed :)

If you look closely. Stell is Prince, Pablo is James brown, Ken is elvis presley, josh is Michael Bolton, and Justin is Michael Jackson.

You probably wonder why they have smart phones in different eras. We thought they're like time travellers thus the end part where they chat each other asking where they at and the boom box being the tool they use to travel to different times in the past. If we go back to how Pablo wrote this song during the pandemic, where he told us that it's a time where he misses those moments when people see physically and enjoy each others company and they would watch movies together. Because during the pandemic we were robbed off those things. Also because of the pandemic, we appreciate the little things we enjoy but were deprived during the lockdown. And for me WYAT is looking back at those happy times where we are more connected to each other.

I have been saying for years that SB19's biggest strengths aren't really their (incredible!) talent or training - that in itself gets people to listen but doesn't create dedicated fans. It's the combination of underdog narrative and authenticity that hooks people and reels them in, especially in an Idol Culture ecosystem where authenticity is a vanishingly rare thing to find and actively discouraged by most of the management companies in that space.

Ken moves are amazing..... that's why he is the main dancer but ofcourse all of them are great dancers too...

The diner is called The Filling Station is actually open 24/7 and is located in Makati City. a lot of A'tin, even those who came from other countries, have gone there to try out the place. It first opened in 1994. If you have time you can watch the making of the WYAT mv where they show their filming in this place as well as how they all had to learn how to roller blade for the scenes required here. Btw the dance rehearsal video was filmed during an actual rehearsal that's why you can hear all the different voices/noises in the background. You made a very good observation at the end when you said that "they have the ability to do their own thing and still make it work in the end". This 5 young men have so much respect & love for each other, they always say they are like brothers not just group mates. This has allowed them to come out with their individual projects which each one of them supports. I believe that these solo material has made them stronger as a group, because it made them develop more confidence in performing. 💙

Good morning, MG! Aside from everything that's been said in the comments, you are right. They enjoy their performances. There are times that they even play rock, paper, scissors with each other, especially Justin and Pablo, during their concerts/events. Justin as the bunso (youngest) is very playful with the other members. What's also great when they perform during these events is they always add/do something different with some of their songs/dance choreography. That's why a'tin still go to their events even if there's just the same set of performances. It's because each one is like a different experience. Check out fancams for their WYAT performance in Japan and Toronto. They added some cool moves similar to Michael Jackson. :) In Toronto, you'd see Justin and Pablo playing, as well as Justin tickling I think Ken. They're so fun to watch!
