J hope mentioned in a live after lola how he had been struggling mentally from the pressure and had trouble eating and maintaining his weight. Army knowing that and being concerned for him is not in any way negative. Bts have always tried to be open about their struggles and it is one of the reasons so many people connect with them and their music. I'm glad Jimin was there to support him and lift his spirits.

I am so glad you reacted to this! Jhope even practice this when he was in south korea ...he practice for months on this. We all knew he was going to do so good. I do remember him saying on live before this performance he was worried that he wouldn't get support from army but we show him during that performance we will support him. I think the other members seeing us support jhope during that performance helped them as well because now they know army will support them on whatever they do for now on..they even saw us supporting jin performance as well with coldplay. Love this reaction 💜

This is why people say the guys are so hard working. When something looks good and fine to us, they'll practice it again and again. They're always very involved with their content. Poor J-Hope was so nervous. He was the 1st of the guys to do something this big and he's doing it solo. They are so used to having each other to lean on, plus he didn't want to let down the name of BTS. He lost so much weight from the long practicing and because of nerves. You should watch the Live he and Jimin did after the show. He explains a lot in that. He was awesome, a true showman. I also love how humble all the guys are. J-Hope thanking all the staff everyday for their hard work, wondering if people will even attend the show... 💜

What a humble human J-Hope is. He showered so much appreciation onto anyone who was involved. He continues to downplay his enormous power and talent to hype up everyone who is on the journey with him, no matter how small or large their part is. From the initial vision and songwriting of the album to every aspect of the concert -- stage visuals, dancing, vocals, live music, props, etc. -- the man was intimately involved in every aspect. He simply is the GOAT. I hope the world doesn't sleep on this guy. They're missing out on some great music and entertainment.

J Hope is such an incredible artist not only in his art but also around people. He has to have been exhausted by the end of his concert yet he’s like, “let’s all take pictures together “ in appreciation of all the people who worked with him. I’m so in awe of him.

Army's roar at 20:43! I was in that roaring crowd. Bless Hobi's heart, after all his hard work, he was scared only a few ARMYs might show up. He needn't have worried. ARMY's got his back. And this behind-the-scenes footage makes me appreciate what I saw at Lolla even more. What an unforgettable show! Hobi knocked it out of Grant Park!

Thank you for reacting to this and providing your insight. The moment Hobi came on stage and saw A SEA of ARMYs and ARMY Bombs - it must have been such a comfort to him to know ARMYs were right there. I would have loved if this behind the scenes also included a bit of Bang PD who was there alongside Jimin watching from the side of the stage. It would have been amazing to see some of his reaction to one of his original 7 sons spreading his wings on his own for the first time.

J-hope shows how hard he worked. I think that's one of the reasons BTS has gotten to be a global group. Work ethics, kindness to all, good music with great lyrics that all can relate to, just hanging in there during all these years and never loose focus on what's important. I can't wait to see what they will do in 2025! When they all have done their own personal growth and come together to work. It will be excellent and magical! 🥰💜

Hobi is a true professional. This truly puts paid to those who claim that BTS are not true artists. He worked so hard on this performance and he said that he had problems eating because of the stress. The amount of weight he lost was worrying but once it was over and Jimin was there he was able to eat normally. Jimin is such a support to all of BTS. TXT must’ve been thrilled that Hobi and Jimin came to see them perform. I think they also met J Cole who wrote Born Sinner, the song on which Born Singer was based.

What's awesome to see is J-hope giving his all while rehearsing, and he did that for hours a day. I think that's the key to knowing how to manage your energy levels. I've been to some concerts and I'm not talking about k-pop only but in general. Sometimes you can see in the middle of the show that the artist is just out of it. Like, you can't just go all out for 30 minutes and then be a wreck for the rest of the show. It's important to manage yourself, keep your body healthy and rehears. Know when you can go harder and when to keep the energy lower so you can rest.

J-hope is the most professional and serious about his craft. He love what he do. He is the best of the best. He gives complete dedication and care to everything he does. The details he put into his work is only unique to him. Others are content being just an idol coz they know their fans will buy whatever. j-hope’s quality of work is just his. His own hard work. No one could compare. If you watch other bangtan bombs you could tell he gives more effort. Others will just do what is required from them. No input. He is amazing!

Jhope is very involved with anything related to his album. Even during the mv shootings, he was involved with scenes and shots. Lollapalooza was no different, it really was made in his vision. And he’s such an amazing performer as well! It was nice to see behind the scenes of Jimin, TXT, and Becky as well. Bang PD was also there besides Jimin the whole time so there’s that too. Also he didn’t go through the whole set on D-Day rehearsals. Army got there really early because it wasn’t reserved seating (basically first come first served) so they got there super early. They didn’t see him, but they could hear him rehearsing and would post it later saying “oh my god! I hear daydream he might perform it guys!” Believe it or not, we didn’t know the set list so everything was a total surprise just the way he wanted it to be

J-Hope is an incredibly detail-oriented artist, and he was involved in every aspect of the JitB process. I don't know if you've heard, but he's going to be performing as a solo artist at this year's MAMA on 11/30. I assume his performance will end up on Bangtan TV. He's nominated for six different awards, including noms for work with BTS, Crush and solo: Artist of The Year, Best Male Artist and Best Hip-hop and Urban Music for "More," which is also up for Song of the Year along with "Rush Hour," and that song is up for Best Collaboration. He's having one hell of a year. Also... everybody needs a Jimin. Just sayin'.

J-Hope is the most detail-oriented among the members which is why their performances are so amazing. Having him as their performance leader just perfect. He's funny and quirky but when it comes of their performance he's dead serious and profession. And of course we can expect nothing less with his solo performances. For this performance he lost so much weight because of the work involved, he was so hands on with everything. He was constantly working and eating well and one of the staffs informed Jimin about it and he immediately flew to the US the next day. So love Jimin here.

I'm sure a gazillion of us sent this the second it hit so you are welcome. The second I saw it was the actual set rehearsal I stopped & sent. Gotta see John just flip out on how on point and involved JHope was. If I geeked out then John and all will be in heaven. Been along time since I had band friends and watching this just reminds you of just how dedicated and sacrificing life in the arts is. Rock on. Can't wait for RM, Jimins and Vs Solos. Sugas and JKs will be masterpieces but I can almost see them already but those 3 with their journeys like JHope can give us almost anything. OmG RM w/ Erykah Badu! Badu! I understand why she'd want to but she's Erykah Badu. Means RM is a recognized true artist b/c she has no patience for fools. RMs interview w/ Pharrell put him in and the list sealed it. Must listen to the man he's grown into. Same for all of them. We are so lucky to be here.

He said he practiced six hours every day in Chicago. When he went live in Korea before going to Chicago, ARMY already noticed that he'd lost weight and he said he lost around 5 kilos (11 lbs). He said he's usually good at separating work and private life. He never brings home work. But while preparing for this, there were so many things to handle that he couldn't stop thinking about it even after he was home. It must've been exhausting, mentally and physically, to be so hands-on about every little detail. Not just for Lollapalooza, but also the album itself, the design, the merch, everything. And to be the first member to do this, too.

This was really cool to watch with you. I really liked hearing your thoughts, etc... as another artist and performer. And I know when I saw that he had rehearsed earlier the actual day, I was like "oh my goodness, where is he getting the strength to do that all over again the same day," etc...😳 Honestly I don't know how he did it and still did it with sooo much energy that night. But he was absolutely amazing, and I loved being able to see all these extra details, and how much of this he pretty much, just directed, all these different aspects how he wanted or thought they should be. He was soooo hands on. I mean we have an idea of what he is like by watching him help get ready for other performances, etc... and I think je is absolutely insanely great at all that stuff and so knowledgeable, but I think here he was even maybe more directly involved than I even would have thought. That man just keeps me learning more and more, constantly about how much of a truly amazing artist he is through and through. Just wow....and trust me I could go on saying more. Jhope is just insanely hardworking and so gifted, and his drive to succeed is never ending, I swear! I truly have so much admiration for him, I really, really do.

Love j hopes hair extensions! Loved them when I first watched, still do :) I don't think I've seen a lot of people hating on j hope for loosing weight, just some concern. I know the boys have had issues with extreme diets in the past, this to the point of being malnourished. So, I think the fans just worry about them when they loose weight. And if it isn't an on purpose thing then there is still concern because it could be a stress thing. And intentionally or not it does cause health issues, and can be for life. I was a teen in the 90s, being skinny was pushed pretty heavily on teens at that time and I had several friends that took on extreme diets. They all have so many health issues today because of it. And those of us with those friends (and there may even be a few ARMYS out their dealing with those health issues themselves) we all have worries about it, no matter if the loss was intentional or not. On another note I always smile when people watch things like this and are surprised or excited to see how much work they put into the show. I know I watched one reactor talk about how surprised they were at how everything is choreographed, even down to hand gestures when rapping. Lol, yep the more people on stage more focus you have to put into every detail to keep things going as smooth as possible. :) I actually love it myself :)

Omg John this was so much fun! I loved watching you react as a musician to this kind of behind and would definitely love to see more. I love watching the behinds! All of the members are in control of their solo stuff and we love to see it. Jay killed it and I am so freaking happy they I managed to make it to see both J-Hope and TXT. Taehyun and J-Hope are pretty close. J-hope is the one that Taehyun turns to for advice often. Jimin often calls TXT the "babies" and they were all really happy to see J-Hope & Jimin there. Soobin seemed especially happy to see Jimin. I guess because no one knew he was going to be there. Taehyun had said he was hoping that they would be able to see J-Hope's performance but no such luck. J-hope also dropped behinds of the mvs too! As well as Jin's stuff. I'm down to watch all of it with you lol!

Just saw Hobi at the airport on livestream. He looked good, posed a little as the lights were still red. He was on the way for his MAMA performance. His Lollapalooza was great and I love how detailed he is. Jimin was funny and I think that helped Hoseok to relax a little. People who are annoyed about him about speaking about his weight loss are strange. 1. In SK it is as normal to talk about as the weather is here (I don't care if people think it is unhealthy - it is a fact that SK does) 2. As you said: with as hard as he is going? he is bound to loose weight, especially when he is nervous and eats too little. Thank you for this vid! I loved your analysis! 💜

Also yea army's weren't hating on him or making stuff up when they said that because it was pretty true😅. He said so himself he was eating and sleeping barely at all and lost a lot of weight (5lbs or more). And that mentally he wasn't doing the best because the pressure was a lot and he was wearing himself out working so hard. Jimin described it as when he got there he seemed a little on the hopeless side ( all their words not mine✋🏾). True army would never say he or any of them weren't doing well if they were doing perfectly fine, we were honestly just really worried for his health and mental because of how much he said he was struggling and how hard he was pushing himself. Of course we didn't see ALL of that in this behind the scenes since the only way we can see them is through a camera and not outside it in their everyday lives. But it makes sense as hobi is the type to pour himself completely into something a lot of times overly so if hes stressed or nervous about it. Again, the vlive he and jimin did afterwards gives a lot of insight into it (he also did another vlive before the album came out talking about how he'd lost a lot of weight and haven't been sleeping well)

Watch the behind the scenes of the Busan Concert. It really is their documentaries burn the stage, etc. and their lives, and behind the scenes that you get to really "see them" the most and their love for each other. Jhope really was struggling that week and in his live he said when Jimin showed up it was like light came into the room. He was so negative. You could see some of it here. Did he really think only 2 army would show up? He was giving into his fears. The staff was even concerned about Jhope and one of the first things Jimin did was take him to eat.

Hey can you react to the vlive he did after the performance too? Since its vlive though you'll have to blur it which is totally fine, I just would really love to see you react to it because it gives more insight into how he was feeling around the time of the concert y'know🙄😁💜

Jimin is an absolute angel. Hobi is my bias b/c I could tell he was talented and detail oriented and such a ball of sunshine.

If you could react/watch the after concert V-Live, of J-Hope and Jimin, that would be awesome. It will be on Weverse after December 31st because they are merging platforms to Weverse. But yeah, that would be awesome. If you've already done it, let me know and I will watch it. I'd love to see your reaction to it. I've watched this video three times now, and I've watched the V-live like 5 times. Jin's is great too. And he did a Wooteo interview that was good too. Thanks 💜

I think it's wrong for people to assume he developed an eating disorder but he was food and sleep deprived he talked about it in the Weverse live he did with Jimin right after the concert (which I would recommend watching). That's probably why people started saying that. But that's really wrong to make any assumptions on their health and personal information I agree.

12:50 no not anorexic, where did they get that from??? Haven't they watched the vlive right after his Lollapalooza performance? He both said he had been practicing up to 6 hours a day and also that he had been so nervous and in such a dark place that he couldn't really eat. But that when Jimin came he could eat and got out of his darkness, that Jimin is his light.

I have to wonder why you would get blocked on this since this is from BangtanTV. I assume that is the direct source used here. Have they blocked anyone before? If so, why, this has been their KZread channel from the start, iirc.

He’s just worried because he hasn’t put out a video like a Bangtan bomb reaction or a BTS episode, so he didn’t know. But he should be fine
