I saw him in concert. He is a beautiful person; he is from the Philippines. And he is very humble and shared his money with poor Philipinos. He has built a school for poor Philipinos.

Yes, you pronounced it perfectly! Always love your reactions, very genuine. Marcelito is a treasure! As a child & teen alone on the streets of his hometown in the Philippines he sang to himself. He is self taught. Copied what he hear in multiple languages he does not speak. He only speaks Tagalog. Diamash starting vocal training at age 5 and travels with an entourage. Marcelito is totally self taught and travels with wife and daughter. When he’s not on tour, he returns to his hometown where he still lives. He has created charities to help those who are need like he was. For the American AGT, he came in 4th but he was the highest ranked singer. Top 3 acts were magic and acrobatic acts.

Marcelito is one of a kind. A beautiful person.

Marcelito is doing both parts of a famous duet of The Prayer by Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli that you can listen to. He has sung My Heart Will Go On as well live from a stadium in the Philippines. Angelina Jordan came in 5th in that America's Got Talent Champion's edition. Many people were very disgusted with the competition and don't watch it anymore.

Not only did he jump between ranges but he also jumped between two different languages effortlessly.

He can sing in Italian, French, Chinese, English and Spanish. Even he speaks very little English, his English diction when he sings is sooo good. He was invited to a very high society wedding in Europe and asked if he could sing that song. He taught himself how to sing it in both languages in a short time. I am a huge fan. Number one was an acrobatic dance group. Marcelito was number one, of all the singers in that competition but, number 4 overall. Number two, of the singers, was Angelina Jordan and, at age 13, she came in as one of the top 10, overall. There were only 3 singers in the top 10 finalists.

The show was fixed. A scandal came out at the same time as covid hit. Marcelito did not want to make a nasty thing about it and let it go. His only regret was that the winnings would have gone to his charity. He is one of the truly womderful people on the planet. After raising himself on the streets of a poor city in the Phillipines from the age of 7, he remained kind, gentle, and humble. He can sing all genres of music in 6 languages. In the prayer, besides changing voices and ranges, he was singing in Italian and English, which are both not his native language.

Simon Cowell manipulated the outcome at AGT and pushed Marcelito down to 4th place behind an Asian Tumbling Troupe. So insulting. There was more trouble about song choices, etc., but I have never watched another minute of AGT since. You have his name exactly correct. That strange thing he does after the song is because the Sound Engineers were teasing him about his "female" voice so he was "removing" it. He is a humble, lovable person with a great history and an enormous talent. Enjoy.
