Hi Lukas! Dimash wrote this piece when he was a teenager. Lyrics by Oral Baissengir. And although it seems like everyone knew the song, the Chinese audience did not know it. They were just very supportive on screen. The only ones who knew were the Kazakh team, especially his translator, who was singing along. ❤ Another masterpiece that he wrote is "War and Peace" with lyrics in Mandarin.

It is a ballad ..., an extremely complex, musically and interpretively, but finally a ballad also in two languages, kasajo and mandarin. Not everything foreign is folk. If Sinatra had sung it in English, would it be folkloric? Dimash covers all genres, and could particularly enter the West with his ballads and pop and rock: Lots, sreeming, give me love, your love, I miss you, etc. He just needs to learn English better :) I keep everything about him, even the folk that fascinates me. I was cruising KZread recently and discovered a Russian talent show contestant that did just that, with one of the best, most unique voices I've heard in many years. Her delivery was nothing short of magical and I searched out more and more and more, and...more chills. I was stunned to find that the first performance I heard was when she was 14!!!! Another enjoyable reaction, Thank you Lukas. Yes it is from that same Chinese competition show Called "I am a Singer" in 2017. That competition lasted about 3 months and Dimash sang 12 Songs in it, of which he won 3 rounds. He actually composed the music for this Song when he was 19, but I think someone else wrote the lyrics?

Math. :D He's definitely a gentleMAN as you've previously stated, but the Chinese pop industry is obsessed with the boy-look so they put tons of white foundation and make-up on him throughout this contest to make him look 10 years younger! Unforgettable Day was composed by Dimash in Kazakh at 19. They replaced a Kazakh verse with a Mandarin verse for the Chinese audience. Unforgettable Day is his torch song :)

Always think your reactions are great! This is another one of those songs that has a better - demonstrably better version. Unforgettable Day - Gakku is much better and is the song where Dimash goes off the piano on a high note. D8 It is also abetter in stage presence and the crowd interaction.
