Aldo had an ep out this year, life and times of Eddie gage, and a recording of remakes , Called Reloaded. Check them out. And he’s touring in 2023

A Canadian gem. He is a great songwriter. He is producer too. He wrote and produced for Celine Dion and Blue Oyster Cult to name a few. Definitely check out Monkey on Your Back.

Fun fact: Danny Glover was 40 years old when he said the "I'm too old for this stuff" line in Lethal Weapon.

Just like they call Triumph is the poor mans version of Rush, Aldo Nova is the poor mans version of Triumph, as they are Canadian and rock their asses off.

He’s like 60 something years old now and has a current video on KZread doing this song and he’s still so fun a sounds amazing!

I love this song. I still have the vinyl 45 that I bought when it came out. But I don't remember ever seeing the video. 👍🙂

You may recall the song as the theme to MTV's Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory. 👍

Two years later Bon Jovi debuted with a similar style and became huge with it. In the late 80's Bon Jovi actually worked with Aldo Nova in hopes of re starting his career but..... Aldo Nova is Canadian btw. Speaking of Canada my favorite band is Rush :)

Aldo’s 1982 debut album went Double Platinum in 3 months! The entire album is awesome.

You guys are adorable. Love seeing Millennials and later discovering songs from my youth and early adulthood. I had the album on cassette and wore it out long before I ever saw the video for the first time. Do check out Aldo's version from a couple years ago. It's awesome.

I think this video was inspired by John Carpenter’s movie Escape From NewYork, starring Kurt Russell. I believe Aldo Nova is wearing leotards, not Cheetah prints.
