Also, I'm glad you picked up that even Crown is lowkey dark. People have been saying since their debut that they "wish TXT would try a darker theme." It's been dark. Like super dark. What they meant was sexy. But there are still minors in the group and they, like their older brothers, don't want to do the shirtless sex-appeal route. Anyway, it really irritates me when people say it's "bubblegum" or light stuff cause it's really heavy if you read the lyrics and understand the story.

I actually don't want them to go to that "sexy" concept just because it is what groups do and it is what most people want to see. Txt is known to be a unique group. I love the duality of their music videos, the happy and sunshine the music video feels but then you read the lyrics and see another side.

Lol when was it *never* dark? The m/v may be cute, but concept is based on storyline, expressions and most importantly, lyrics. For example, many people still believe Dance The Night Away by TWICE is a cute concept. (PS - if anyone doesn't know, it's a horror concept :) )

I would say the only similarity between TXT and BTS is that they’re under bighit ent. TXT is quite different in every other way but they’re always associated with “BTS’s little brothers” when they deserve their own identity outside of BTS. They’re so much more than just little brothers. I mean ITZY is Twice’s little sisters but no one ever says that. So like just a heads up to anyone who says that, it actually does more damage than good at certain times.

All of them are dancers, vocalists and rappers, all of them can do all these 3 (To make it simple for you: There are no positions in the group) CROWN is about expressing their growing pains through horns. RUN AWAY is about escaping from reality and reaching a special place only with your friends CAT & DOG is a song about being with the one you want forever, just like the lyrics said "I wanna be your dog", and to not be left alone. CAN'T YOU SEE ME? is about confusion and loneliness and the boys feels like they collide with reality and in the end they discover conflicts in their friendship. Also, the resentment towards friends and desire to be saved by them. If you look deep into the lyrics, all the songs are darker than the choreography or background music. the best way I can describe “crown”’s lyrics is finding happiness and comfortability in the mayhem and chaos. They talk a out an awakening provoked by another person or thing that makes them see that they’re not alone in the obstacles they face. The repetitive “I love it” is because they have grown to be comfortable with the “horn” growing in their heads because someone helped them see that nothing was wrong with them after all.

TXT dance practices are totally worth watching. In my opinion, they're the best dance unit in the game right now. No one can beat their synchronization and they come up with some really innovative moves and transitions. Plus, I think they catch unexpected parts of the beat. Like they don't hit where it's obvious. So sometimes, watching the dance practices make me appreciate the song more because I then pick up on subtleties in the production. Seriously--these guys are superstars. And that makes sense. They came into the world in the shadow of BTS and were always going to face intense scrutiny--they had to start at a level that was higher. No time to be Rookies. And they've delivered consistently above and beyond.

BUT don’t get it twisted, they’re very different from each other in terms of sound and concepts. some people have theories that their mvs have related hidden messages but honestly i don’t think we’ll ever know lol. check out “don’t put bts and txt in the same room sequel” and part 3! (part 1 consists mainly of music show encore stages, part 2 is better) ALSO ps Yeonjun is the main rapper of the group, he’s the one you keep pointing out. but TXT doesn’t really have positions, they’re all incredible vocalists, dancers and rappers so there’s not a really a need to label each member.

I got into this group because of their dope choreography! Plus their catchy songs.They have a story concept so the MV’s tied up together makes a storyline. It’s about their friendship and then soon they fall apart. There’s little things in the videos that means something throughout the story.
