The project started 2 years ago and they revealed members one by one (sometimes by group/unit). While they have 24 members now which is their end goal, they only make a 24 member comeback once a year. On the rest of the year, they will focus on sub-unit activities. The fun thing is they do not have fixed sub-units. They have this so called gravity where fans can participate by voting on who to put in sub units and get to work together. Even the songs they use as title track are voted by the fans like this song. They released a number of teasers for the possible title tracks and fans voted for it. It just so happens that Girls Never Die won. The same goes for the sub-units. If you liked this song then you will like most of their songs as while this is good, this is not their strongest title track. Is the group profitable? Hell yeah.
