    Sounds about right. 😆 I wasn’t yet old enough to drive but this song did indeed stop me in my tracks. It’s actually the first lyrics I ever remember resonating with me to the point where my young mind suddenly realized the true power of music. The line that really hit me, the one I never forgot: “I’m praying for rain, I’m praying for tidal waves. I wanna see the ground give way. I wanna watch it all go down”. I was frozen in place listening. Absolutely amazing. 30+ years later, their music just keeps getting better. 🌀

    It’s all so good. Wait until you discover Maynard’s “story within a story“ that is about his mother. Multiple songs explaining his mothers story. It also includes songs from his other bands most notably “judith” from APC. Check out tools “wings for Marie 1 & 2.

    Tool take you on journeys. Songs should do that. I get bored if a song is just one thing over and over. I mean there are good short songs out there with killer groves, Alice In Chains' Check My Brain comes to mind, and that's Fire, but I appreciate a songs more that have transitions and tell a story with more than just words, and that's why Tool is always awesome!!

    Good video. 👍 The genre IS TOOL. For the record. Also, you absolutely NEED the lyrics. Even if you have to pull em up on a different screen. This song hits soooooo much harder when you know what he’s saying. It’s one of the few Tool songs where the lyrics are in-your-face-straightforward. Not much guess work in this one. Lmao. 😆 But your reaction woulda been MUCH different if you knew what he was saying. Tool… best band on earth, imo. This is NOT generic bubble gum rock designed and dumbed down for the mindless masses. Every member is a god given genius. Technically skilled, talented, absolutely unique and creative. True music. And they are responsible for some of the most beautiful pieces of music ever written in ANY genre. (Wings/10,000 Days is my favorite. Arguable one of the most beautifully haunting requiems ever written. It takes you thru every layer of loss: the grief and the pain, the dismay and the helplessness but also the fury and the rage. Individually and all at once. Absolutely gorgeous piece of music) Spiral out! 🌀

    Seriously. I genuinely want to know how can go about doing this. I can review but I know that I have to transform the video so that the KZread algorithm does block it.

  • @elskeletor3566

    @elskeletor3566

    Жыл бұрын

    @@JayPXP I would look into finding the law and then add it into your intro before starting. Because you are reviewing the song and then making a comment about it. There's a few other KZread channels who use it in there intro's. You, Me and The Movies uses it before they start watching. You'll probably still have to stop and then commit on the song.
