There's 8 members. They basically came out the gate as "the shit". They've won the most rookie awards in kpop history. Bngchan, the leader, handpicked ked all the group members and they make their own music. They revived a dead genre(prystance) ans created their own genre in 2020 dubbed malataste with over 60 different genres in their discography. They're currently the 3rd biggest kpop group worldwide in history at number 3, but number 1 currently via globally. It's Def a journey with them.

Because STray Kids do not fit traditional Kpop, they get a lot of hate, but if you pay attention to their lyrics you will find they are unapologetically themselves and promote self expression and ignore people who want to change you. They have also overcome many obstacles to debut and the leader Bang Chan created a family not just a Kpop group. They are just as devoted to each other as they are their music and it shows. You will get a better picture of who they are if you watch the Stray Kids Survival show.

Since you are curious about the MV, which aligns so beautifully with the lyrics, the giant monsters are the personification of emotions like stage fright and anxiety for the younger boys. Each scene represents a different emotion based off the Chinese symbol in each scene - Happy (bank scene), Angry (pirate scenes), Sad (domino scene) and finally Pleasure (Mad Max scene). These characters dissolve over the MV leaving the last as the main emotion, Pleasure, which is the ultimate emotion. The choreo ends with skz giving the "I love you" hand sign to the kids like saying I love you to their past selves. The last scene, the monsters are gone and the kids experience the euphoria of completing their performance with the adoration of the audience. Stray Kids are a mostly self-produced group who debuted in 2018. There are 8 members oldest to youngest - Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, a Seungmin and I.N. (maknae, youngest in Korean). Unusually in K-pop, the company elected Bang Chan as leader after he had been a trainee for 7 years (since 13) and allowed him to choose the rest of the members. Usually the company creates the group. He chose well because here they are today, one of the top 4th generation boy groups.

About Stray Kids......... 3Racha - Stray Kids' main writing and production unit, consisting of Bang Chan (the leader of Stray Kids), Changbin and Han (two of their main rappers) Bang Chan was an idol trainee at JYP for several years. While waiting to debut with a group, he formed a rap group called 3Racha with two other trainees, Changbin and Han. They wrote and produced their own music. JYP gave Bang Chan the highly unusual opportunity to help develop his own idol group (which they did through a reality show, but Bang Chan had WAYYYY more say in picking the members than pretty much any other idol trainee in the industry), and when Stray Kids was formed 3Racha was absorbed into that group. 3Racha still performs on occasion. They’re in the kids minds, and the big monster is stage fright before starting the show so they’re fighting against that 😊👍🏼 So each skz set represent an emotion - anger, happiness, sadness and pleasure (rak/rock). And as the kid starts to play more and more, the other emotions go away until only pleasure is left

Yeah. Felix has that effect on a lot of people. I'm going to reply to myself with a story line list if you would like peruse it & watch SKZ grow into the extremely talented artists we know today. But first. A breakdown of the LALALALA MV for you. I think the giant figures represent Fear & stage fright. (They also seem to be based on Japanese spirits of drowned sailors called Umibozu) They dissipate when the words of the emotions in the children's heads disappear. I believe the floating characters are the words Joy, Anger, Sorrow, and Happiness/pleasure. (This is what I have been told. It seems to be a mix of Chinese, Japanese, and Korean, and I can read none of those.) There are four factions for four groups of the members. Since the four factions represented emotions, the locations were different. Anger was at the bottom of the ocean. It's a dense emotion that we try to smother & it thrives under pressure.The members who represent this emotion are pirates. Joy was a bank. It's an emotion that we store & take out for special things. The members that represent this emotion are in denim, but surrounded by clowns who look like the ones from the Dark Knight. Sorrow was a stark place of floating ash and monuments that were like graves. The members who represent this emotion are in pale & washed out colors mixed with white. Happiness/Pleasure was in a fort of musical instruments. It's an emotion that's loud & messy. We hear it before we see it. The members who represent this emotion look a lot like people from Mad Max mixed with military. Now. Anger attacked Joy first. They bypassed Sorrow altogether. (You can see this in the map they showed.) But it didn't turn out. Anger was defeated & captured. That was the first word to dissipate. The next to fall was Joy. Happiness/Pleasure snuck in disguised as clowns & planted a bomb. (We saw I.N talking on a communicator & one of the clowns also had one. He later takes off the mask as he leaves revealing it's Han, yet you can also see pirate Han still tied on the floor behind him.) The bomb went off. Since the bus was in both Joy & Sorrows' realms (Back half in Joy, front in Sorrow. We can't have one of those emotions without having felt the other.) we see the explosion as the camera pans to Sorrow, and the word for Joy dissipates as well. Sorrow falls & we see that Happiness/Pleasure is all that remains. They have gathered parts of the other emotions & folded them into their own. Happiness/Pleasure is very nuanced. It can contain elements of the other emotions and still be the same. Also. I think Lee Know said (In the video with them reacting to the music video) that the children are them when they were young. And over the years these emotions that they felt at varying times have been "defeated" and all that's left is pleasure in their music. The sequence of emotions & dissipation of said emotions seems to mirror their own journey. When they first started, everything was pretty evenly balanced. They hit a few hard times & anger kinda made an appearance, but then they started enjoying things more....Then Woojin left & sorrow took hold for a while. But they came out of that better balanced, and are taking pleasure in their work once again. Currently, while they take pleasure in their work, it's tempered with the other emotions, but the dominating drive they have is happiness & pleasure. The lyrics of the song are about locking away your stress & meeting the world with fun & music. The bus is an interesting thing. As well as being between the the factions of Joy & Sorrow (The back part was fully in Joy's section....But the front was in Sadness. Almost as if it had crashed into it.) , it's actually a call back to their beginning. And it's not the one from District 9, it's the one from Grow Up that was heading to District 9. I do think the District number being 325 is significant. Since that is the debut date, it has now become the beginning district. It WAS district 9 for the 9 of them, but that has changed over the years. And it is no longer just them. They invited ALL of us in in Back Door. At the beginning, it was small & sheltered. They were very careful of their district. But as they grew in confidence, they threw the notice out to everyone who wants to enter...All we have to do is knock. And Felix didn't swear. Felix is saying the Korean word for Shh. I believe it's Swit? So it's a work around on the no swearing rule. Stray Kids love homophones. I mean, look at the title for the album & this song. It means happiness/pleasure in Chinese. But it sounds like the English word "rock". So the album is Rock Star, and it's all about emotions. Every song on this album is designed to touch our emotions in different ways. You should definitely listen to the entire Rock Star album.

Stray Kids started their musical journey with a story they wanted to tell. And their music has evolved with them. I'll leave a list for you if you would like to go through it. I give this list to any baby Stay, or those just learning about SKZ, I come across to help them in their SKZ journey. I'm going to include some songs I think are part of the story, but not quite. I'll put them in brackets. And yes. The trailers & teasers I list are needed for the story. Hellevator isn't needed, but it's good for new people to watch it. Helevator was made in 2017 before they even debut, as part of the Survival Show that they went through to prove they could debut as one group. And parts of it are seen through out the story line.(As you were told, Stray Kids were a 9 member group at the beginning. You will see Woojin in older videos. They debut as 9 in 2018. He was present till Double Knot at the later part of 2019. He has a lovely voice, and I wish him well on his solo career. A lot of Stay ignore his existence because of how he left. Stray Kids are 8 members now, and personally that's the way I think it should be. I just mention him because new people get confused when they see a face that isn't in anything after 2019.) And yes. You need to watch it in order of the list. I know you watched Gods Menu, but the context of the other songs & trailers helps make it a little more special. (Hellevator) I Am Not trailer District 9 (Mirror could go here, but it's not completely in the story line. But it fits.) Voices Grow Up My pace I Am You Victory Song Performance Video Miroh Cle 2: Yellow Wood trailer Side Effects Teaser 1 Side Effects Double Knot (Astronaut is technically next, but it's also a split in the story line again. The group from this one end up in space & go on to the song TOP where they have a conclusion of a sorts for their story. So their path is up to Double Knot, then Astronaut, and finally TOP. The main story skips this, and goes on to Levanter Trailer.) Cle: Levanter Trailer Levanter Go Live Trailer Stray Kids Prequel: Highlight Reel Gods Menu In Life Trailer Back Door I think that's the end of the official story line. Stray Kids consider Gods Menu as their new beginning, and the story shows it. After that, they take many different routs in their story & music. There Is also a separate story line called the Mixtape Universe, or the Film Club Universe. It's it's own self contained thing, and it recently got a added film in the latest comeback. It follows the members in an alternate reality as they are members of a school film club. Mixtape: On Track Unveil track: B Me Mixtape: OH The View And just recently there is now SKZFLIX that kind of follows an alternate path of the Film Club universe, and the Unveil track for Leave also ties in. We are waiting for Leave to get a full film. I want it so bad. (At this point, I don't think it will get it's own MV. And I am sad.) I hope this helps you on your journey of exploration into Stray Kids' music. Some of my all time fave Stray Kids songs aren't on that list. There is a lot for you to discover.

Straykids are incredibly successful overseas selling only second in Albums sales in the US to Taylor Swift and 3rd worldwide in 2023 but do struggle a bit in South Korea because they don’t and never have conformed to the typical KPOP formula. This is because they write and produce their own music and incorporate dozens of different genres which is quite innovative and fresh. BangChan their leader a trainee for 7 years actually handpicked his own members which is very unusual and they had to go through a survival show having to deal with elimination write and choreograph their pre debut and debut songs Hellevator and District9 while they were all under the age of 20 and they have never looked back.

Stray Kids are next level. They are their own genre, tbh. There are 8 members, the leader and oldest is Bang Chan (he's Australian) picked all the members to be part of the group, and he along with Changbin (the muscular rapper) and Han (the other rapper) collectively called 3RACHA, write and produce 99% of their music. Then there's Felix (also Australian), Hyunjin, who is an exceptional dancer and artist, Lee Know, the lead dancer who used to be a backup dancer for BTS, then the two main vocalists, Seungmin and maknae I.N. I had never listened to kpop before then I found Stray Kids, and they are basically the ONLY group I listen to on the daily. Suggestions for songs to react to... Venom, Megaverse, Freeze, Easy, Cheese, Maniac, Thunderous, Domino (check out their dance practice video for exceptional choreography) Have fun!!!!

Regarding the LA LA LA LA video, they did an interview about it. They are inside of the kids playing at the concert, who are suffering from stage fright (the monster) and each scene represents one of the emotions the kids are going through and Stray Kids are helping them fight through it. So it's basically about overcoming stage fright and just being fearless.

Please dont make assumptions, theories or think the ex member is someone to be linked with them anymore. The time he’s not a member is more than the time he was one and the moment he left, stray kids have immediately been very vocal about being 8 hence the phrase “8 is fate”

2:33 yes, but a lot of stays think that the "5 star michelin" term was a hint towards their 2023 release, S-CLASS. it's part of their 3rd full album, "5 STAR". a lot of fans think there was a lot of planning behind it since it was also revealed "Super Bowl", also on 5 STAR, was the original God's Menu, but they switched the tracks and renamed it as is. there's A LOT of lore with them, and they oftentimes incorporate spoilers into their content. they surprise us every time!

Ok so this is going to be long and I’m sorry for that lolol SO Felix he was born and raised in Australia. When Felix moved to Korea he had a very hard time pre debut bc he didn’t known Korean AT ALL so he had to learn Korean from scratch! There are videos of Felix fumbling on his Korean and sometimes misunderstanding it in interviews to!! And Bangchan is the leader as well as the oldest member he is the one who hand picked the other members! Bangchan is also Australian, except he was born in South Korea, and then moved to Australia, very young and didn’t come back to South Korea until he was 14 I believe! And became a trainee under JYP for 7 years before he was able to pick his own members to debut which was the first time JYP had ever done that! Bangchan as well as 2 other members are the main producers of straykids they write produce and compose 99% of their discography with a lending hand of some of the other members as well as someone else who’s a producer ( I forget his name )and these members are bangchan, Han and changbin which they are called 3Racha they used to do underground rapping pre debut and under alias ( not their real names ) when releasing songs and rapping bangchan was CB97 changbin was SPEARB and Han was J.ONE. I’ll list the other members in order from oldest to youngest as well as some additional information BANGCHAN ( CHRIS ) - leader 1997 Apart of 3racha, the 1st member with the credit songs making him the 6th in K-pop of all time with 168 songs LEE MINHO ( Lee know ) - 1995 cat lover, apart of Danceracha, also used to be BTS backup dancer as well as used to have a dance crew in world of dance ( he is basically the dance leader of the group bc he’s that good ) he was also a host for music core! CHANGBIN ( binnie ) - 1999 apart of 3Racha, considered 1 of the top 3 or may be top 5 fastest rappers in K-pop to date, idk if it’s been updated yet but he raps 11 syllables per second, he is also the 2nd member with the most credit songs making him number 10th in K-pop of all time with 143 songs HYUNJIN ( ferret )- 2000 apart of Danceracha, was recruited off the streets with no dancing or singing skills but managed to become a trainee just bc of his visuals, and he's said him self he didn't want to be known as just "visually appealing" so he work extremely hard which landed him as artist of the month by studio choom and was able to do a dance cover of post Malone's song motley crew! He as well did a dance cover to Billie Eilish's song when the party's over, as well as a dance cover to play with fire by Sam tinnesz! He is as well as a brand ambassador for Versace!!!! HAN ( squirrel ) 2000- last member of 3Racha the 3rd member with the most credit songs! Making him the 11th overall in K-pop with 140 songs, he actually moved to Malaysia when he was 8 and attended a international school there for 6 years then moved back to Korea to pursue his dream of being a idol! ( his English is very good btw ) FELIX( sunshine )- 2000- last member of danceracha, known as the deep voice and his duality is insane with his voice he can go absurdly high and extremely low as well as has a very nice middle tone voice ( his singing voice )!!! I've already said he is from Australia so not much more to say there! Except for he is a brand ambassador for Louis Vuitton and actually just went to a show and got to walk the runway himself!!!! He is also the most liked one of the group him and hyunjin but especially Felix bc of his voice he is actually my bias and the reason why I got into straykids!!!! Oh he also is a level 3 black belt in taekwondo he did it for 12 years and has 63 medals! SEUNGMIN ( puppy ) - 2000 part of vocalracha, lived in L.A for a year or so ( so his English is really good ) to study more about singing and improving his vocals, he is literally amazing!! He has 2 OST ( original sound tracks ) on 2 Kdramas ( Korean dramas ) he as well participated in the Korean masked singer as well as changbin and Han did as well! He used to be a host for 2 variety shows them being we k-pop and after school club! He went to the same highschool as bangchan ( CRAZYYY ) He is known to be the savage one and the funny one he literally trolls everyone lol! He is the biggest DAY6 fanboy ever! ( another group that's under JYP entertainment, and he just recently made his fashion debut in loewes fashion show in Paris!!!! I.N ( baby bread ) - 2001 - also apart of vocalracha! The youngest member usually known as the Maknae, he is literally loved by all the members and they treat him like he is the oldest when ever they win awards they hand him the award, and in Korean culture the oldest usually gets to eat first or whatever but they let him go first and literally just love him so much!!! He's so adorable! He use to be a model before he became a trainee! His special skills is be able to sing trot and I can see why with his tone of voice it's so unique!!! Anywayssss that's all I have about the members I shortened it down A LOT bc I can't make this to long! There used to be 9 members but he left the group on October 27th 2019 due to some really bad things that happened with him being involved in some heavy rumors… it was bad but anyways he is a soloist now so there’s that!! Anyways Awe man I wouldn’t even know where to start to recommend you Skz songs… bc I like their entire discography like everything so it’s hard to choose BUT nonetheless if I HAD to choose I recommend you check out all of their first takes, that being Slump: first take, Mixtape: OH: first take, scars: first take, and case 143: first take!! Nowwww other songs i recommend that are rap heavy, 3Racha, Muddy water, maze of memories! Some of their soft songs i recommend are youtiful, I am YOU, mixtape: on track, mixtape #1, never ending story, secret secret, sorry I love you ( there is so much more but I won’t list them all lol ) And lastly I’ll recommend some random songs!: venom, red lights, streetlights, cause I like you, taste, wow, zone, 3rd eye, top, the hare and the tortoise!!! The 9th member actually left for personal reasons and then rumours were spread about him over a year later, which have since been proven false.

BUT that doesnt include the fact that when he was trying to clear his name even tho he was innocent the “company” he was supposedly under came out with a statement saying they didn’t even known him and then to make those matters worse it turned out that “company” was a fraud goin around scamming people and stealing a logo for their own gain! So it’s a mystery why woojin said and used that “company” to back his story up BUT nonetheless I’m glad he was innocent and I’m proud of where he is now!

5:40 literally who is ‘hating’ on changbin’s weight? All I see are Stans and stays hyping him up…everywhere. Unless you try to look for hate vids which…who cares? Those are always gonna be around
