Yesss ONEWE are so talented. *All* of their songs are 100% self-produced and self-written. Parting was written by Kanghyun (the guitarist). Its based on a dream he had as a child where a meteor hit the earth. The song is basically about what he would feel in that moment and what he wishes he could tell his loved ones.

I love how you can tell how much they really understand the songs when they explain how they make them.

onewe is basically two sets of best friends and this guy they found at a singing competition harin (drums), and kanghyun (guitar) are childhood best friends and started the band with cya (bass/rap, pronounced key-ah), who then asked HIS best friend, dongmyeong (keyboard/keytar/vocals) to join. yonghoon, their leader and lead vocalist, won a singing competition and they asked him to join then. back then they were called MAS 0094 bc yonghoon, the eldest was born '94, and cya and dongmyeong were born '00 dongmyeong is also the twin brother of xion from oneus. they did a dance cover of hip on idol radio together.

I recommend you to watch "Regulus" and "End of Spring". They are one of my favourites especially "Regulus".

One of their member has a twin in ONEUS

The fact that onewe is a self formed group, they were neighbors and met the vocalist at a competition. Yonghoon- vocalist, leader Kanghyun- guitarist Harin- drummer Dongmyeon- pianist/keyboard, vocalist Cya- bassist, rapper Most of them have writing and composing credits for all their songs. Love to see them receive the attention they deserve.

Onewe and Oneus are brother groups They’ve been on the same predebut tv show, and in early showcases they support each other on stage, Onewe with the music and vocal and Oneus with vocal and dance. They also have a song together called Last Song Edit: BTW the person playing electric key board and keytar is Oneus Maknae xion’s twin brother! Yes, twin brother

Not even just early showcases. On Onewe's recent VLive concert, Oneus showed up to perform Last Song with them, then also did To Be or Not to Be... Plus Xion helped out a bit with some dancing...

it's cause they're in RBW. if they were in YG, SM, or JYPE people would lose their mind. unfortunately the stigma of the 3 big labels in Korea is still a huge thorn.

There's something in the water coolers at RBW - how is that everyone under that label is an exceptional singer and/or rapper? As you rewatch the MVs I think you'll realize you were confusing Cya (bassist & rapper) with Dongmyeong (keyboards & vocals). Cya (pronounced Kia) is the maknae and he uploads hip hop mixtapes on the side, often in collab with Oneus rappers Leedo & Ravn. He also wrote and produced a trio collab with those two called Crazy & Crazy that was released on Oneus's debut EP. Onewe has a couple of slow songs you may not like as much as these three but they're beautiful and shouldn't be missed: debut song Reminisce About All and their 2nd single Regulus. As a third song it's a toss-us between their mind-blowing version of Hwasa's Twit or their fun, funky song End of Spring. Hell, just do em all! 😂🤟

cause RBW wants to get people with talent. Solar was rejected from auditions 40 times for being too old to be a trainee and Hwasa for not fitting the Korean beauty standards. RBW saw beyond their outer appearance. they saw their talent in vocals and accepted them.

They are so TALENTED like why all of groups in this company is so Talented???? We stan all of rbw artists

Fun fact: Yonghoon, the vocalist, was one of two backing vocals doing the high notes in Moonbyul's Eclipse. We love a supportive RBW family! "Parting" was the song that really got me into ONEWE, so it was great seeing you react positively to it too! I loved their HIP cover because they really took it and made it their version. Loved the different sound.

@@abbysantayana9672 Haha I'm the opposite, checked out Mamamoo because of Onewe and they're one of the few GG I really like. Their interactions are so cute too, the boys always get so shy and nervous all of a sudden. Also the fact that Byul promoted them and made sure people knew they were going on Avengirls when RBW didn't bother to tell us makes me really love her. Her show is basically the only promotion they got for Parting :(

They're so damn underrated it is sad. I remember I went to a concert with them back when they were still M.A.S 0094 (didn't even know they changed names), and they were fucking great live too (although only like 20 people showed up). Happy to see them get at least a bit of attention now.

The 3 Songs i would recommend are Reminisce about All, Regulus and Ring on my Ears. Reminisce about All and Regulus are Songs that really show what a great vocalist Yonghoon (Main Vocal) is and since you really liked Kanghyun's (Guitarist) Guitar playing you might like his playing in Ring on my Ears as well.

OMG OMG FINALLY! I'm so glad you loved them! Speaking of their artistry, actually their company (rbw) wants to market them as an underground band so that's why you can def feel the indie vibe in them. Aside from that, they are also a self-formed band, from a group of friends in middle school who enjoys performing and making their own music. The song Q was written and composed by the bassist/rapper, CyA and the most recent song, Parting was made by the guitarist, Kanghyun. Their whole discography is a journey, filled with different genres but still with a distinct Onewe style, here's a list you can check out: 1. Reminisce About All - rock ballad, debut song, written by Yonghoon (main vocalist) 2. Ring On My Ears - rock, produced by the bassist, CyA (you'll fall in love with the drummer in this song 😂) 3. 0&4 - fun, quirky song 4. Regulus - prequel of the song Parting, written by the guitarist inspired by the book, The Little Prince 5. Younghoon is one of my fav vocalists in Kpop. Onewe does ALOT of great covers and i'm poitive you will like most of there MV's

They were a high school band (Mas) years before signing with RBW ... the key-tar member is the older twin of Xion (Oneus maknae). Their pre debut reality show (with Onewe is fun. Great family energy. ) super talented band. Lead vocalist is a talented whistler too (in Solar's single and other RBW tracks.)

Are you willing to give their brother group, ONEUS, another look with their first 3 MVs (Valkyrie, Twilight, Lit)? Many TOMOON fans say those are among their best MVs.

Their debut song "Regulus" is in my top 5 tracks last year. The main guitarist wrote it, but It. Is. Stunning. .... And "End of Spring" has chord progressions I think you'll love.

You should definitely also listen to Ring on my ears and 0&4. Those songs have a sort of garage band vibe and are super fun!

bruh CyA is a beast but all of them are so damn talented! Parting was so enjoyable and chilling when listening now it gets me emotionally invested every time I listen haha and Q was hella addictive, my head couldn't shut about it. They're a gem!

fifii Yonghoon is the leader and main vocal of Onewe he known for his amazing vocals and he also took part on moonbyul's eclipse you can hear his vocals on the last chorus of eclipse. Cya the one who's playing the bass guitar and the rapper he also participated in producing lots of their songs including 'Q' he also produced 2 songs of oneus (Crazy & Crazy, and Dizzy) highly recommended you to listen to both of these songs. Kanghyun the one who's playing the electric guitar he also took part on producing some of their songs in fact 'Parting' came from his idea from reading a book as well as 'Regulus' (highly recommended too!) Dongmyeong the one who's playing the keytar/piano also the vocalist of onewe he has a twin brother in oneus (xion) dongmyeong is actually a bundle of joy he's the sunshine of onewe because of his personality. Lastly, Harin is the drummer of onewe but he can also play the piano in fact he can render a song to the piano just by listening to it, although he doesn’t know the chords. (Song suggestions: Regulus, Ring on my ear and End of Spring) Onewe is a talented yet super underrated band but I'm so glad that you enjoyed listening to them💕

MY BABIES! They actually add a jazz flare to a lot of their songs which I love. They mix and switch up different genres/elements a lot too so it's never just one sound. Recommendations: "Reminisce About All" is vocal heaven I highly recommend "0&4" (for the different genres mixed in, and "Ring on my Ears" because Cya (rapper+bassist+writer of the song) is more of the main vocal in that one so it's a bit different 💙

If you felt like crying at the beginning of Parting wait til you hear Reminisce about it all! They can be playful too like 0&4! Also their other covers are *chefs kiss*

You finally reacted to them! 😭❤ Onewe is actually a re-branded band; before they re-debuted under RBW (the same company that has Mamamoo and Oneus) they were known as M.A.S 0094, then when they joined RBW, they were MAS and went through some process before becoming Onewe 💕 Oh! And they're actually brother groups with Oneus as well! I think you'll enjoy listening to 'End Of Spring' (I like the rock version better) and also Regulus (it's not really a ballad, but more like a rock ballad i suppose?) They're super talented as well- all of them can write/compose their songs and the guitarist (his name is Kanghyun btw) actually composed 2 of their songs already- including Parting!!!

I recommend regulus it's one of my absolute favourite from them, end of spring is more of un upbeat dance track and ring on my ears is just also one of my favs from them. I know you arent big on ballads but if you ever want to hear more of the main vocalists voice I recommend their debut track reminisce about all.

I just wanna say that Kanghyun is a very technical and skillful guitarist. All of them are so so talented and u can feel that with every song they release. I am so happy u reacted to them!!
