Woah…Freddie Mercury is that you?! I’ve never heard of this dude. I had chills through the entire thing.

You got it right at: 0:23 Highly recommend Marc's cover of "I Will Always Love You", now that you've found his channel, especially if you want to fall "head over heels" for this talented man!

Marc is French Canadian and was co-lead vocalist in a Christian rock band for over a dozen years called "downhere" which won awards and received numerous nominations. Then in 2011 Marc, after years of being told he sounded like Freddie Mercury [naturally], auditioned for Roger Taylor's vision of an official Queen tribute band . He won with his audition and toured for several years with "The Queen Extravaganza ." in 2018 Queen asked him to provide vocals for the Bohemian Rhapsody movie. He has been touring for some time with his own tribute band Ultimate Queen Celebration selling out concerts around the world and in the US. He's also been involved in numerous other projects in the last few years, most of which are on his channel .

Marc is amazing! One of my favorite artists of all time. Check out another one of his Queen covers in this style (IE Who Wants To Live Forever, We Are The Champions etc.) as well as his other covers like: Unchained Melody or I Will Always Love You. Marc is just out of this world with his range of talent, it’s insane. Glad you discovered him through the recommendations you’ve gotten. His music/as well as his channel is a hidden gem of fantastic music. Hope to see more reactions of Marc in future vids🤘

Lovely reaction to this hidden gem of a Canadian, who happens to sound a lot like FM. His KZread channel is a treasure trove of covers and originals. His first band, downhere, is also filled with video gems of their band. A rabbit hole that takes a long time to get through, lol. Agreeing with the recommendations already listed. I also enjoyed his 90s cover series, Everybody Hurts is one I love a lot.

Privileged to hear Marc sing in person with Downhere back in 2003. What an incredible voice and talent.

Marc also did the vocals for Rami Malek as Freddie in the Bohemian Rhapsody movie.

You must now hear Marc Martel's version of "Under Pressure" with David Bowie (they are both dead now in real life)!

Hey Miss Samantha Scott here seriously you are talking about his playing what about the fact he sounds just like Freddie Mercury. Miss Samantha he just dropped a new video of him in a huge Arena singing the Queen Sing Love of My Life, please react to it. So Nothing but love for you Sweetie.

He has a good voice, a little similar to Freddie Mercury's, and did well. I miss the guitar solo though.

@Barton Bagnes..."a little similar???" Pardon me if I take Roger Taylor's opinion over yours. Marc has fooled Roger on multiple occasions. Roger describes Marc's voice as identical to Freddie's, with terms such as "uncanny," "spine-chillingly identical," "scary," and "spooky." "You close your eyes and you think it's Freddie onstage, and he actually even looks a little bit like him. And, it's not just the one song. It's every song he sings. When we were rehearsing, in Toronto, they were playing Bohemian Rhapsody and I was sitting down writing, trying to work out the set. And I closed my eyes and suddenly got completely spooked out, 'cause I could've sworn it was Freddie. And you know, you have a very fine ear when you do it all your life and it just is absolutely staggering at times." - Roger Taylor

@@odonovan I knew I would get jumped on if I said it was just like Freddie Mercury's, but it seems I got mildly attacked for saying it wasn't or not saying it was. Oh well. Many people say that Freddie Mercury is the best singer ever, and I have been told that "Nobody could sing like him ". That was on a reaction to Freddie where I said that Dimash Kudaibergen had better technical singing abilities.

@@bartonbagnes4605 Your comment about Dimash was correct. However you will always draw the ire of Freddie worshippers if you do don't say he is the best at everything. Stick to your guns and let your voice be heard. These places are for discussions, and although way too many try and shut down facts with opinions, smart people know the difference.

By "mugging for the camera" and talking over the video, you missed a couple really fun points of Marc's video. At 2:17, Marc actually says, "Take one (not really)," but you totally missed the second part of his comment. And, at 5:22, you totally missed the look of relief on Marc's face, when he made it through that part of the piano arrangement, which he had evidently had problems with in previous takes. If you're going to talk or physically react, either stop the video for a second or rewind it back and play it over, so you don't miss those little gems.
