Yeah this was a lot. I wont lie it took me a few play throughs to take anything in. But I like how well the MV goes with the lyrics, the whole worship me, I am worth it, don't lie to yourself. Definitely cult vibes, or worship, especially when he was literally ascending near the end there. I also thought the instrumentation during the chorus sounded kind of snake charmer - y if that makes sense. If that's what he was going for it works with the whole charming us, hypnotising us vibe.

lmao yeah welcome to the Hutazone. You said on the title card 'dude. chill' - yeah the man has *none.* Zero, zilch, nada, no chill to be found. As other Melos have said, he's got a very different sound as a soloist compared to when he's with the group. The group, yeah, most of their title tracks are emotional ballads. Minhyuk on his own? It's this. (Not to say that the entire freaking album which he wrote and composed is just this - half of the album is a love ode, 25% is him dropping and grinding on the floor, and the other 25% is him being like 'you got a problem?') He loves giving fans emotional whiplash, tbh. His first album (Hutazone) had 2 title tracks - and you wouldn't believe that the same person was performing both.

He's so talented. Minhyuk wanted to show his composing skills and his vocals more than anything, because in BTOB he's known more as a rapper. The album has 12 songs composed by him and and has different styles of music (there's slower songs, focusing more on his singing).

So according to Changsub, our Minhyuk work his a** off to get that ripped and defined for this comeback. So on top of practicing with dancers he spent hours in the gym. He did well. I am very impressed and wish I had his discipline. And talent.

Not exactly a cult haha, he actually wrote this song (and the entire album) and went on a KZread "show" with a host who used to be a big host on a Korean variety show that interviewed idols. The KZread channel he runs now though is kind of a lyrics analysis with the artist/composer so we got to see HUTA's thoughts on what he meant by all the lyrics. It's a lot of confidence but it's just basically describing the process of pulling in new fans and hooking them, and how a lot of fans deny them stanning an artist at first but should really admit it to themselves. But honestly, sure, if there was a HUTA cult, I'm ready to join it. 😄

I only heard of him through the song he did with 3racha and Hongjoong on Kingdom… loved his stage presence then and was hoping to see more of him. This didn’t disappoint! I love it, love his voice, his visual and the dancing is so sexy and captivating. Really love the dark and dangerous vibe from this. Definitely on the playlist! Sometimes I really want people to know more about BTOB coz they are very special and such a gem and gift to the music industry. Very talented and humble at the same time. But sometimes I wanna guard them because I just wanna protect them. But they deserve the recognition for their talent coz all the time, I just feel kinda salty that they have all these good songs from solo songs to group songs, but people ignore them because they are not so popular internationally.
