In kpop there are positions called main and lead. Alot of people don't believe it but personally i do as I don't think it degrades them it just shows their strengths. Main means best and lead means second best. For example if you are main dancer you are the best dancer but if you are lead dancer you are second best Jennie (the one who was talking about henny). She is main rapper and lead vocalist. Jennie was born in South Korea but went to middle school in New Zealand for 5 years so she is fluent in English. She also speaks Japanse and ofc Koreon Lisa (the one with the yellow hair). She is main dancer and lead rapper. Lisa is easy to identify because she always has bangs and Lisa is not Koreon Lisa is Thai. Lisa is fluent in Koreon, Thai, English, Japanese Rosè (one with the orange hair) she is main vocalist and lead dancer. Rosè was born in New Zealand and raises in a Australia so English is her first language. She also speaks Japanese and Koreon Jisoo (the one in the blue top and black shorts). She is main visual and lead vocalist. Visual means who fit the "Korean beauty standards" the most. Jisoo was born and raised in South Korea. She is the only one who is not fluent in Englidh but she is still trying to learn. Jisoo is fluent in Chinse though. React to ddu du ddu du next

I think BP has moved away from the traditional roles of main and lead, it's more along the lines of strengths and weaknesses. I could easily say that Lisa is the main rapper and the main dancer while Jennie is the main vocalist but that's not accurate either. After listening to them for 6yrs my view of their strengths in descending order are Lisa - Dancer, rapper, vocalist Jennie - vocalist, rapper, dancer Rose - vocalist, dancer, Jisoo - vocalist, dancer. Visuals are different entirely. All are stunning and I couldn't possibly choose any order.

@@-insert- that's so true. And sometimes it's so stupid to even compare. For example rap. Some people prefer Lisa some prefer Jennie. Me personally I prefer Jennie. But it all comes down to what style of rap you like more because their styles are completely different. But I still believe that the roles do exist becauee even lisa sometimes introduce themselves as main dancer and lead rapper in interviews I've came across. Same goes with Jisoo and Rosè. Even though Rosè is main vocalist I still believe it's up to your style because they sound completely different. Rosè has that control and can hit those notes but Jisoo really makes you feel something and sounds very sultry when she sings. It all depends on whose style the songs suits more which is one of of reasons why I think Jennie gets less rap parts. Because BP songs tend to go with Lisa's style. Hopefully in those new album with could see everyone getting to show off their best

@@bpistherevolutionsince2021 I suspect Jennie the rapper will be back in their upcoming album. Here's what I don't want to see. I don't want to see a repeat of their first 3-4yrs. They are older, more mature, more experienced, etc. and I hope their music has evolved with them. Their moves into high fashion and high jewelry has created a huge separation between themselves and everyone else, now we need to see the same with their music.

BLACKPINK had two sides color which are BLACK, represent with rapping part to convey badass, swag, sassy, powerful etc while PINK represent with singing to show feminine, girly, innocent, cute etc.

Yes,this is their debute song along with WHISTLE, they put out 2 debute songs on AUG 8 ,2016. Please check out WHISTLE ( other debute song) it's different but as good. The first 4 songs of their career, it like they were trying to find which way they should heading.

after seeing their discography, i would definitely like to recommend some performances of theirs. Coachella will always be my top fav of theirs, but also Tokyo dome, The Show, MBC, gayodaejun, and inkigayo. i would recommend their dance practices too, they've worked with some of the best choreographers. 3/4 girls have also solos and solo covers/work too. but please take your time, do what makes you feel comfortable. these 4 women are the it girls and queens of kpop

for me personally if i have to blatantly being honest with you i'd rather watch someone gradually growing their love toward BLACKPINK as a whole thing, i dont really interested with these type of mindset where we value a certain musicality only if wether we gonna put it into our playlist or not, that's not something that i'd lookin for everytime i found a BLACKPINK newcomer in general, but hey i do still appreciate a lot of an honesty about people's personal preference so i won't really complaining if by the end of your BP journey somehow none of their song ends up on your itunes playlist, let say even if these whole discovery just plainly remains as a casual reaction then that'd be fine too, but ofc if one day you finally found a special place for loving their music in such a genuine way then obviously it'd such a wholesome memorable gift for us as their fan and as you viewer in this channel... so yeah i'm trully excited to see what's next for the rest of your journey while getting deeper into their discography, ouh also about that one BLACKPINK video that once you had watched in the past, definitely we'd still watch reaction even if you gonna do a revisit to that one particular song so yeah for now please dont worry and just take your time by slowly starting from their older albums as what you'd like to do initially...

They easily generate way more revenue than the music video cost and the following minimal promo activities for each comeback. It’s a double-edged sword scenario for them because they became too powerful and massively influential so fast that their company has greatly suppressed their potential talents and gatekeeping their artistry. From denying music show and promo appearances and basically limiting their access with fans and etc. The conservative society and elites in Korea have a long history of restricting and censoring women in general it’s sad and unsettling.

It's funny how you mention the song is giving 2012 David Guetta vibes because he actually helped co-produce the title track "Lovesick Girls" on their most recent album, "The Album." Jennie and Jisoo were credited in co-writing and Jennie was also credited in co-production. "Lovesick Girls" is definitely a throwback song. Everyone agrees it's slower vibes and the beat cause a nostalgia that completely brings you back to the 2000s and it's just so catchy. Hopefully, you can react to that unless you plan to keep going in a chronological order which is fine too. And if you're interested in R&B vibes, I'd like to also recommend another girl group if you haven't seen them already: Mamamoo. There's 4 of them and they're known as the vocal queens of K-Pop (along with the group Red Velvet). Their songs have jazzy and R&B elements that I love when I'm not in the mood for hype bangers. Their more recent songs have been more upbeat but they still bring in soul somewhere. I'm not even sure which song of theirs to recommend. Perhaps "Mr. Ambiguous" and "Piano Man" which are their earlier tracks. But also, please keep reacting to Blackpink (if you want). You seem like a genuine reactor and you're a bit funny too 😁

Hi! Sorry to bother you with another comment. In my last one I recommended that you also check out the group Mamamoo for some R&B vibes and vocals and it was hard for me to recommend songs but I just remembered they have a live 15-minute medley on the "dingo music" KZread channel which showcases small parts of their songs over the years. I think it's a good and easy way to check out what an artist offers before you start watching their M/Vs. So just look up "Mamamoo dingo killing voice" and it should be the very first thing that pops up. They also show the title of the songs so if you like a snippet, you can find and react to the song later. Thank you!

I'm not a electronic or pop fan too, actually I hear a lot more of rock and metal stuff, but kpop has something which make addict, Blackpink as a long with Beast (this one is even more old group than BP) introduce me to the genre. I'm still not a fan but they are a few groups that desserved attention and are on my regular playlist, my recomendations: Aespa (this one is a must!), Ive, Nmiix and Dreamcatcher.

Thats not to say blackpink arent, they are the second biggest (unfortunately held back by their lazy company), but i mean its not arguable. Of course one can prefer them though. Love your channel though from this comment. You arent going to blindly listen to what stans have to say for likes, commsnts and views etc like many do (as kpop stans do attract a lot of views to reaction videos), you are actually honest and real.
