If you like rock I highly recommend Guerrilla and Rocky. If you like their cinematic mv’s I also recommend Guerrilla (again), Halazia, Don’t Stop and The Real. Their song Turbulence is a bit slower but the lyrics, vocals and mv is one of their best even though it’s kind of underrated imo

ATEEZ has their own universe. The most of their songs and videos are connected (like Marvel movies) So in this Bouncy video, it's based on their storyline. They were like on undercover, that's why we see them in different roles (Cowboy gunman, Bikers, Cops, Boxer) I'd like to recommend you to check out their previous songs such as - Guerrilla - Halazia - Say my name - Hala Hala - Wonderland PS. Please watch the video till the last minute, cuz it's always have an ending scene in their music video

Their songs tend to have a lot of meaning and heavy emotional loads so once in a while they give us something that's just pure fun, and after the aggressive, explosive Guerrilla and anthemic Halazia with its bleak story we got Bouncy, a summer hit which is not much about anything apart from them being hot (cheongyang chilli peppers are the hottest Korean chillis), badass and having fun. BTW, the song title is Bouncy, K-hot Chilli Peppers is the subtitle, and the album name is The World EP.2 : Outlaw. There is a song Outlaw on it, actually, and they also have a song Rocky which is a boxing metaphor :)

It wasn't about them being hot xD It's about their performance being hot/spicy as in very passionate and energetic, also koreans use hot to mean popular so that too! That's why the "gonna show you right now", to watch their best performance, to bounce and have fun with them(remember they did this song dance easier on purpose for the bouncy challenge) and to state their are going to be more popular! :)

Thanks for reacting to Bouncy. If you like rock their songs Rocky and Guerrilla along with their remake of Black Cat Nero would probably be more to your liking.

Check out Guerilla and Black Cat Nero. They definitely have more of a rock vibe. One of the more incredible things about ATEEZ is their ability to embrace and perform MANY different styles of music.

Speaking of cowboys. There’s a Korean movie called The Good The Bad and The Weird. Might be fun to check. Out. Also one of my fav actors, Kim NamGil, has a kdrama out currently called Song of the Bandits. There a also a cowboy themed season two of Tail of the Nine-Tailed. Loved it!! FYI…ATEEZ started out as Pirates. This is their concept. But the pirates change through out. Right now they are anarchists and rebels. Which are the descriptions of Pirates.

Back with more ATEEZ recommendations for you. This time something different. If you might be interested in an emotional ballad type KPOP song please check out ATEEZ’s Turbulence. Or if you want a vacation vibes or fun songs please check out Wave or Eternal Sunshine. BTW…ATEEZ does have a song called Rocky. They have a Korean and a Japanese version. Japanese version has an MV you might be interested to check out. They’re Japanese releases tend to have more hard rock guitar. 😘

"I'm a cowboy, on a steel horse I ride. I'm wanted... but I'm stayin' alive, stayin' alive." I felt like that's what was coming. Basically, if they play their own instruments then they're a "band" (The Rose, DAY6, ONEWE, etc.). If they don't play their own instruments, then they're a "group". There are boy groups, girl groups, and mixed/co-ed groups. Bands aren't usually dancing around the stage with set choreo (but it does happen); groups don't usually bring their own instruments onto the stage (but can happen). That's my personal take -- I'm still new enough to that whole industry that I couldn't tell you if it's the widely accepted definition or not. Having grown up with a music teacher for a mom, this is definitely something that my brain classifies separately. For the record, I absolutely love an acapella "group" called Pentatonix... even though they're all using their voices as the instruments, my brain is still going to have to classify them as a group not a band (although Kevin does play cello on some of their stuff, but I guess I kind of think of the cello as a featured instrument rather than changing how I refer to them as a group). Good gravy, okay, ramble over 😂 ----- Now these guys... they are my ultimate group. I'd already heard several artists prior to hearing them, but my first K-pop MV was one of theirs and I got sucked into their interdimensional vortex. I don't want out, ever. They don't make a bad song, and every single song they've done speaks to me on some level. Even as a 43yo with kids of my own (my oldest is about 2 weeks older than Captain Hongjoong), they just... I don't know how to describe it, it's like they took root in my heart and flowered in a way that makes me feel like they've somehow made me a better person. 에이티즈 = the Korean spelling of the group name, ATEEZ (ay-ee-tee-juh ATINY = ATEEZ + destiny, and is the official fan club name. Call me ATINY, or momTINY (as some of us in a comment section have dubbed ourselves), or whatever. I'm their fan. It hasn't been that long, but I'm on this ship forever. They have INSANELY DEEP lore, so trying to fully understand any MVs is going to be an uphill battle unless you're into it enough to want to actually read up on stuff. There are diary entries and some video releases (trailers, a dairy video, etc.) that help fans follow the storyline, but the diary entries are found in certain versions of the album releases... so not everyone has a copy. There are some beautiful ATINY out there who have shared it online, though, so searching a little can usually get you there if you want to find it. The videos and song lyrics are filled with lore, but you can totally enjoy them without knowing a thing if that's how you want to roll with it. ATEEZ are actually known for putting multiple styles into a single song, but it's done in a way that always feels seamless to me. They also have a very wide range of styles they bring into their catalog as a whole... no song of theirs sounds exactly like any other song they've done, though there are recurring motifs and lyrics and the "feel" might be similar. It's one of the many things I absolutely love about them. Funny that you mentioned Rocky, since they do actually have a song called Rocky and an MV with a boxer theme. And yes, it's a reference to the Rocky you know. Oh, and last note here -- if you want a laugh, look up "Korean slang gochu" and then take that into account here. (gochu = chili pepper)
