Daechwita is actually very deep. He said 4 years ago when his first mixtape was released Agust D became a king. Back then he was blonde, so blonde king represents who he was in the past. Another name of king is anger. Black-haired Agust D represents who he is now and he is confronting his past-self. This story about the fight inside him and about being sickened with his own greed runs through many his songs. The Last and Interlude: Shadow are two of them and I really recommend you to listen to them

The thing with SUGA is that he is completely involved into creative process. He produced almost all his songs, wrote all of them. And he has been producing for other artists as well

He started releasing music as soloist because a lot of his songs don't fit into BTS concepts and get rejected. He joined BTS as producer at first, so his goal was always to create music. He was undeground rapper before BTS and was already an established producer. Right now he is the most successful male soloist from South Korea and he is also well-known producer, with whom many artists want to work

As you can see there is no BigHit intro, which is usual in BTS songs. That's because it is not BTS, it's Agust D and he has full creative control as Agust D, that's why he is responsible of everything in his solo music from songwriting and production to promotions and concepts of MVs

He also produces songs for other artists not just BTS . All song he produces becomes hit and even competes against BTS songs on charts and nominations for SONG OF THE YEAR AWARD in South Korea. He can go real solo and even surpass what he has achieved so far now on his mixtapes.

Very true. I am an ot7 by now even if anyone pays too much attention to my bias and leave the other members I do not like that. I believe all members are equally talented and the bias thing is just about whose style and personality resonates with you

I've been saying since his first video. I love Jimin, don't get me wrong (he's not my bias), but I felt like he was going to get sucked to that part of the fandom we don't like, esp watching that weird fake ass video... So I do hope he checks everyone a bit equally if he is really interested, that is! Please add Give it To Me right next to Agust D video, many reactors fail to do so and they go together :_) I also try to separate solo work form bts solo songs (as these sometimes have NJ's hands in the lyrics, YG's in the production etc) :)

In the D2 live where he was talking to army, he was talking about how agust d might've been killed off but "who knows? Maybe agust d will come back? Maybe the bullet missed?" 😭

I know you love Jimin, as we all do, but it would be nice to dig into the other member’s work too! It’s impossible to stick to only one member because all of them each have something special which will equally captivate you.

That was Jin w/ fishing pole getting into a scuffle w/ Jungkook. The car he’s riding in is the first model of the Hyundai Grandeur Azera, manufactured from 1986 to 1992. BTS happens to be brand ambassadors for Hyunda. The same car was used in 2 of his previous MV's. The gun used was a "shout out" to ARMY as it is a Colt m1860 'Army' 44-single action revolver used during the civil war.

The Korean film “Parasite” even was the first ever foreign film to win Best Film at the Oscars..to be honest the quality of storytelling and visuals in Korean films and dramas are so good Hollywood could learn a thing or two from Korean productions and not the other way around.

As an American I disagree with your comment that they need to be in Hollywood. Big Hit Entertainment (now HYBE) has some super talented people making these videos and they need to stay true to their country! There is so much talent coming out of South Korea that the U.S. can't match. The U.S. music industry needs to take notice of what's coming out of South Korea and up their standards of what entertainment should be. Have you watched one of the music award shows yet? MMA and MAMA awards show are 1000 times better than any awards show here. Check out some of those award show performances that BTS has done and you will be very impressed. Asian entertainment really has set the bar high! They're amazing!

You know how Hollywood movies kind of start to get dull, especially when there is a franchise going? Because Hollywood's money-greed machine bleeds the creative artists and the content they make dry. Please let the BTS / BIGHIT / HYBE visual artists and film artists stay where they are so they can be free to do the fantastic jobs they're already doing. Let Hollywood come to South Korea to learn how to do it right.

Little late catching your review but thought I’d mention a few things. Daeshwita is traditional music played for royal functions during the Joseon period, which seems to be the setting. I believe the music you hear in the background is an example. Suga is descended from a royal family in reality, which is pretty cool. Kings could absolutely not have scars on their faces, so the fact he had a prominent scar is interesting.
