Hey, first time seeing you. Since you've heard the studio version, now check out Black Dog live at Madison Square Garden 1973. They were the biggest band in the world all through the 70's, everything they did was great. My favorite band for 50+ years! Keep reacting to Zeppelin, and I'll be there! ☮️

These guys had their first rehearsal on August 19,1968, guitarist Jimmy Page was the last remaining member of The Yardbirds, & had 6 concerts he needed to fulfill. They filled those concerts went back to England, & recorded their first album in October. It was produced recorded mixed & edited in 4 days in a total of 35 hours. Page & their manager Peter Grant paid for it, & Jimmy & the engineer did all the booth work. It was released on January 12,1969. One hell of a mind blowing debut album, that rocked the world, & still does.

Sorry, last comment from me, but Led Zeppelin "Since Ive Been Loving You" live at Madison Square Garden in 1973 is a reactor staple, many hve done it & been jaw dropped...do the version from the film "The Song Remains The Same"...i feel like a weirdo commenting too much, ok, no more, peace:)✌

@@stillmrdogegreatest live songs, yes the one mentioned plus, live at Earls Court the May 25,1975 version of In My Time Of Dying, that will also blow your mind. Live at Knebworth (1979), Achilles Last Stand, & Kashmir. Studio of You Shook Me, solos of keyboard harmonica & guitar with amazing vocals & drums. Anything live from Madison Square Gardens (1973). These 4 geniuses are each the GOATS of their crafts, together THE GODS OF MUSIC! Please dive deep into Led Zeppelin, everything they did is great, studio or live. They sold out every concert, & would play 3 to 4 hours nonstop. Robert Plant lead singer & harmonica * Jimmy Page lead guitarist band founder producer mixer & editor, also uses a violin bow on his guitar in a few songs * John Paul Jones (JPJ) bass guitar keyboards mandolin etc. * John (Bonzo) Bonham greatest drummer ever. Thank you for your reaction, look forward to much more Led Zeppelin.

OMG also it is hilarious to me that "Heart" is now covering this song by Led Zeppelin They were like frightened & shocked by them when they 1st went to a Led Zeppelin Concert as Teenagers I do NOT agree with them as I was 8 years old when I 1st started listening to Led Zeppelin & they grabbed me by my Soul & NEVER let GO they consistently put me in a Trance like an out of body experience i have always just considered them beyond Magical They were & are EVERYthing to me!

Actually they were staying & writing & some recording at Headley Grange, an old estate with no heat. They were using The Rolling Stones mobile recording studio. A black Labrador hung out while they were there, they couldn’t think of a name for the song, so Black Dog.

I not a 'big' fan; although, like many others, I'd say "Stairway to Heaven" is the best Rock song ever written. You really have to hear the studio version, first. The live version doesn't have the impact - it's too good, for any live distraction. After that then do whatever; in fact, the band Heart's tribute to them, is the one to do.

Sp, John Bonham is considered the greatest drummer of all time. John Paul Jones is also considered ONE of the greatest bass players and keyboard players of all time. Robert Plant is mostly voted as the greatest rock singer of all time and Jimmy Page is ranked the 2# greatest guitar player of all time, if not 1#. You need to react to Stairway To Heaven, which is actually considered the greatest rock song of all time, not my opinion, rock listeners rated it as the greatest of ALL time. But get prepared before listening to it, since it's a lot to take in.
