@@MozzarellaGirlOppa Hopefully you can go back and visit more often and they can get to know each other better. It’s difficult when there is a language barrier. Maybe your mom could visit Italy sometime, too. Micaela might be less shy on her own turf.

me senti igual , senti mucha incomodidad de que no la mirase nunca a la suegra, pero hay que ver como estaria uno de nervioso como actuaria, yo tambien tengo una suegra de otro pais y eso que hablamos el mismo idioma, las costumbres son diferentes y si dan nervios, pero sentia mas verguenza si no la miraba.

I kinda understand the reaction of Mica, I’m get a little shy and nervous when I meet new people but when I start to get confident everything goes well and I have the opportunity to establish great friendships and relations with others. Your mother in laws seems to be a really nice person

Very blessed to have such a warm mother in law. The language barrier is hard for sure - I understand. I learnt Chinese mandarin for 4 years and I came to meet my girlfriends parents finally but they speak a dialect which is almost completely indistinguishable 😂 it’s hard but where there is a will there is a way

my Egyptian mother in-law of 12 years is also great with me. Although we have language barrier,she is doing her best when we come to visit their home city and stay over for days/weeks. When i first met her mother,she greeted me with hug as if i was long lost relative who made it back home...

I don't understand why Micaela doesn't say more to her mom-in-law with Daeho translating . I know she is shy but even so; her mother-in-law was really trying very hard. Also, didn't they bring her any presents at all from Italy?? It doesn't even have to be expensive. Bring her some packaged sweets or perfume from Duty Fee or maybe Italian coffee. Anything!!

Watching this, I remember when I met my boyfriend's parents and extended family back in 2018. I speak Korean so I could communicate better with them but I was so nervous about misusing 존댓말 with them so I was tense for the whole first week. Oh and them bying me things and me checking the price everytime 🤣🤣🤣 I relate so so much. I was so worried they would offer to pay for things that I ended up not being souvenirs and gifts for family back in Algeria 🤣🤣🤣 Now I really miss my bf's mom, she was really sweet and loving towards me
