I did find out too short to hang ribs. I have to lay them on the grate like you did. I spritz with apple cider vinegar and water. I don’t wrap or remove the membrane. Just season’em and cookem
I just got mine last Wednesday, put it together yesterday and I’m going to hanging baby backs tomorrow

Thinking about bout getting a Trager but I want to save money. Man is this really REALLY a good smoker? because the look of it is amazing!!

So far it has been good for us. Originally I wanted a Trager, but just like you the cost was too much. Then when you compare what's out there I figured this still does the job. I wanted something with a lot of cooking space without the high cost. When I was researching there's really no perfect smoker. It depends what you're looking and budget.

Just got this smoker after seeing some of your videos. Does the fan stay on the entire time?
@Bornalliance

Usually I do not stay for the whole 6-8 hours to see if the fan is on. However whenever I do check the fan is on. So I wanna say it probably is on the whole time or most of the time. Congrats on the purchase and hope you'll enjoy it.
Why is your temp area blinking???? Mine doesn't do you have it on a extention cord??

Yes I do have it on the extension cord. When I look at it does not blink, but the recording it blinks. Not sure if it's the angle

Digital displays actually only have one number lit at a time and it alternates through them so fast that your eyes perceive them as all on all the time. Cameras have a shutter speed or frame rate at a different frequency so it oscillates between capturing the light during some frames and not during others. You can play with the exposure times on the camera to avoid this
