Welcome to the black parade I dont love you
MCR is heavily inspired by Queen and Gerard has a lot of mannerism that Freddie had, so much so that Brian May himself said that Gerard reminds me of him. Brian also played with them once, they played together We will rock you by Queen and then Welcome to the black parade
Mcr is HEAVILY inspired by queen. Especially this album.

This album has many elements of The Wall too
This was Gerard's "Yesterday" moment like Paul McCartney had with the Beatles. When I saw them live way back they would do it with just Gerard out on the stage with some kind of heaven like spot lights coming from the stage out so it would just look like his silhouette. ❤️
I remember the first time I heard this song I cried

It’s uniquely hard-hitting if you’ve lost someone to it
My grandma passed away on the fourth of july 2006 of lung cancer, she was having a good day the day before, then we all got to my grandparents house, my dad wanted to give her a kiss but she pushed him away that really upset him he didn't understand why, then my grandpa pinned their wedding rings to her nightgown and told her it was okay and then she passed my family covered the mirrors after she passed, The family kinda fizzled after, she was the glue holding it together i suppose

TW: Death/Grief * * * * * I have an anecdote that will give you and your Dad some insight, when it comes to death in the family. I've been around death and dying a lot since I was a kid. (Sorry for the wall of text.) I have a son probably around your age; I'm an elder Millenial for reference. When my Mom passed, there was a period of time when the extended family didn't seem as close as before her passing. For my son and his cousins (grandkids), they observed and lived with the understanding that Grandma was the "glue". For my siblings and I, Mom's death meant we are now adults "without training wheels". When a person is in their last days, we talk about dying with dignity. "Going out on your own terms." People can feel hurt and confused by a loved one's actions in their last days on earth. Please take into consideration that a dying person's action can come from a place of love. I'm sure you've heard the saying, "The hardest thing a Mother can do is to say "Goodbye" to their child." I fully believe, had your grandmother received a kiss "Goodbye" from your Dad, she would've died from heartbreak instead of her last breath. My Grandparents were very much in love during their time. That kind of sweet old couple that give you a gut feeling that when of them dies, it won't be long (less than a year) 'til the other one dies too. So... WHILE WE WERE AT the funeral home for my Grandpa's wake, our Mom got the phone call from the Doctor saying that our grandma is in cardiac arrest, has a DNR, and Mom is the PoA and Mom need to make a decision... Mom and her siblings wanted to be able to kiss and say "Goodbye" to grandma. So, she was shocked back to life. Grandma wanted to die with dignity. To Grandma, dignity in death meant out-of-view of her children and before or shortly after her husband. Grandma was upset at first, then laughed 'cause reason for the decision to shock her was -",We were busy when you called."😂 At least we got a couple last minute life-lessons out of Grandma... * Always say, *"I'll see ya later."* to people on their deathbead, because they didn't like having to say "Goodbye" in real life. * Be understanding, your Parent hasen't been [age] years old without training wheels, before. * Tape is equally effective as glue, given the task. You know what *you* like to look forward to at your family gatherings, and kinda have a rough idea of what goes into creating a spread for that. Call or text your relatives. Throw the idea around to your cousins, brainstorm, and then tell your parents you want their help to make it happen. (In my family, it was the Grandkids that could see the family kinda drifting apart and wanting to figure out a way to bring us closer again.) It's normal that your 1st family gathering won't look like ones before it and that's okay. When you first learn to fix things, you learn by using Tape, because it's temporary, You can always change a few things for the next time to make it better. You see,.. your Grandma tried several different ways using Tape until she figured out what worked her. When other people saw how amazing Grandma's result was with the tape, they swore she must've used glue. That's why Grandma's are the "glue" that held family together... Because Grandma never told anyone she used Tape. Hope my ramblings help.🫂💜
Best song to listen to is Famous Last Words. Its always a song i use when in all honesty i am about to give up, but it always gives me a reminder to literally keep fighting
You guys have to do Famous Last Words next! Gerard Way is a VERY story focused artist
Never heard this one before but seeing as I am recently diagnosed with it, it seems like Karma. Beautiful!

Sounds like being in Hospice Care. When you're dying, they have 🍭 shaped sponges, they dip in water. That's how you ingest fluids when you're dying. Coffee, water, gin (true story) etc. The 2 weeks leading to a death is usually when family starts gathering.
Ohhhh I like this scene!!
Loved mcr when I was a kid and love y'all guys know It'd mean sm If yall did more mcr!
MAMA next coz it's so damn fun listening to it
If you get to watch the music videos, theirs one of a little kids whose friend has cancer and decides to shave their hair in support of the friend. Very touching and heartbreaking especially for those who passed from cancer 🪦

You guys should check out Dayseeker “Neon Grave”
You should do these songs I am not okay Helena Famous last words
Saying Queen is not actually a bad thing to say, heavy piano with hard lyrics that carry it ( Even tho heavily tuned here to artistic reasons ). MRC as so many other bands have always looked up to Queen, like we all should. R.i.P Freddy
If we guys are doing rock you guys need to react to Nightwish- Ghost Love Score (live from Wacken 2013) it’s epic🤟🏼 and one of the best live performance you will see!
You guys got to check out Twenty One Pilots' cover to Cancer... it's sooo good, super dope beat as well!
Ouchhh
Its so weird checking the comments and seeing no one telling you guys this is a concept album.
Love MCR. Please do more. Maybe Black Parade next. Subbed in hopes you do. You guys also really should check out Nightwish. Best band! Symphonic rock/ metal. Most people start with the song Ghost Love Score from the Wacken 2013 concert. They are best Live. :) Nightwish is fronted by what many of us consider the best female lead singer in the world. Every song is different, and they will surprise you. Also usually comes with the Nightwish Army of fans to your channel 😉 Regarding the lead singer, her name is Floor Jansen; she recently released a solo song that she wrote for the invictus games to honor those suffering with PTSD - its called Invincible.

I'm normally not a fan of covers but you guys HAVE to check out Twenty One Pilot's cover of this song. They absolutely KILLED this shit while still adding their own little flare. I love y'all are getting into MCR and y'all should definitely do this whole album front to back. Tells a story!!
