Legendary comes from being great over a long career when one redefines a sport. Enough to be remembered in history. There have been many flash in the pans that burned out like shooting stars. Time will tell if if legendary will apply. He does have two power lifting records to date. With record totals in 242lb and 275lb class. As great as that is, it doesn't make a legend. He's in the public's eye from social media but there is much more to do to attain that status. In the meantime we will enjoy the videos. There are some foundational issues that are going to end up coming out over time as well. Some can be corrected, some it's too late to address. If things hold off long enough, and he trains smart enough to stave them off. He has a shot at it...but there are issues with certain things. Those in power lifting know and speak of it. Best of luck in his endeavors.

Its easier power jerking dumbells and barbells and jump down under the dumbell. Im not nearly as strong as you but i can power jerk a lot more than i can press. Also some mobility work on your shoulder joints and thoracic spine. I wish you all the best. Its really exciting watching you do strongman training. Larry, you should study actual footage of strongman competitions of guys lifting the giant dumbbell over their head with EASE. Guys like Derek Poundstone, Travis Ortmayer, Phil Pfister, or Brian Shaw (ALL Americans). They literally jump (their feet leave the ground) when they pop the weight right up. Thor's not really giving you a good explanation of how to do it. His technique isn't the greatest. You need far more LEG drive. He relies more just on shoulder and triceps strength. That won't work for you.
