I really appreciate how truly empathetic you guys are. Poland has been through hell. Under communism, it was like a Martian landscape. Total desolation. Same thing after World War II. It may not be perfect, but to me, it’s wonderful. Even more so considering what it went through at different times in history.

post 2nd war communist times and the 2nd war time are probably vastly different and incompatible in terms of the level of suffering, destruction. There was some life in the communist times
People who left Poland 20-30 years ago don't really know Poland, it's a completely different place., the country has changed a lot over the last 30 years. Warsaw is a great city, you will find everything here: history, culture, business, this city is teeming with life.

Yes! Poland is a really fantastic place for tourists and anyone who loves culture, food and much more
I was also told not to bother going to Warsaw because there was nothing to see or do, so on my first trip I only set aside one day. I crammed a lot in to that day, but was mad that I didn’t plan for longer. My second trip was for four days, which was still not nearly long enough. Next time I will probably stay a couple of weeks. It’s a fantastic city.

Please see the Łazienki Palace and gardens. You won’t regret it, I promise!
Also fun fact, Warsaw is also decorayed by The Virtuti Militari order for the defence of the city at the beggining of WW2
I've noticed that she is from south-west Germany, becouse of her accent. For me as a Pole growing up in a village next to Stuttgart, it's awesome to see her respect and attention for Poland. In Germany the Girls never asked me question or show some attention to Poland and its culture. Times are changing and your travel is a beautiful part of it. Grüßle
GO TO WILANOW IN WARSAW CHECK THAT PALACE TAKE THE SUBWAY AND CHECK THE ŁAZIENKI PARK WITH THE PALACE ON THE WATER +THEATER ON THE SMAL ISLAND. NATIONAL MUSEUM WITH THE PAINTING IS COOL TO. .thank you for visit my city.

I love Warsaw!❤
great video, thank you !
The one on the right is the tallest building in Poland.
As for recommendations: Lazienki park (possibly the best city park in all of Europe), Praga district (either Soho factory, or the Koneser area), the river (there's lots of beaches, not just one, and at night there's campfires) - at night it's really nice to see, but sometimes it gets too packed with too many drunk people. You can also hop on whats called a water tram. Definitelly grab a meal at Koszyki/Elektrownia Powiśle/Fabryka Norblina (super cool post-industrial areas turned into really cool hangout spots), and generally eat out as much as you can as Warsaw has a very high standard of food (and feel free to eat mexican, chinese, whatever you find, it's almost always authentic). Museum-wise: there isn't really a must-see, but I would say the Copernicus Science center is fun, while the Uprising Museum makes you sad, but certainly opens your eyes to the city. Also take your girl out to Park Skaryszewski - it's situated next to a chocolate factory, and you can smell it. You can have a picnic there, or rent a boat, play boule or whatever. Zoliborz district has the highest standard of life with all the greenery and cute little houses, but it's really more for just a nice walk than any tourist attractions. Other than that I would suggest you follow up on cultural events and just join in, because that's probably the best Warsaw has to offer. Open-air concerts, street festivals, street food contests, stuff like that.

@@gazerew Yeah, I was thinking about retracting that as I havent seen them all, but I have been to France, England, Germany, Spain, Italy and many more and am yet to find something I like more. If lazienki is mid what's up there for you? It's huge, has peacocks and deer, you can go down a canal in a boat, it has open-air classical music concerts, beautiful XVIII century architecture... What tops that?!

@@pw6053 From the pictures in looks nice, but Lazienki is a proper forest right in the city center with its own river, XVIIIth century architecture and more. I am not challenging your opinion as I am yet to see Dublin, but how is it comparable exactly?
The pump does work, you gave up too quickly. Probably one more push would do it. Warsaw is super awesome, lots of expats, night life, it's super safe and you can really enjoy life here, while the job situation is good. The people you spoke to simply didn't like it for being the capital, it's a very european thing. A lot of French ppl hate Parisians, Germans Berliners etc etc.

Guys, I can be your guide and driver in this wonderful city :)

I faktycznie - wspaniale miejsce.

My the best city 😍
I can recommend you Warsaw Museum (on Old Town Main Square) - very interesting one with the view point on the top. Of course - Warsaw Uprising Museum also is a "must see" point. I can recommend also Polin - Museum of the History of Polish Jews As somebody mentioned - Warsaw University Campus also is a very nice place. Check also Foksal Street - known for beautifully tenements and architecture. When you are in "Powiśle" quarter, check the Copernicus Science Center and the Garden on the roof of Warsaw University Library. If you like architecture, go to MDM quarter, Constitution Square (nearby there is Koszykowa Street and nice former market hall "Hala Koszyki"), Salvator's Square and Union of Lublin Square. To see that places you go along one of the most known Warsaw street - the Marszałkowska Street. When you are on Union of Lublin Square, there is also 5 min. walk to "Łazienki Park", which is also 'must see' in Warsaw. Check especially the "Palace on the Isle" inside the park Check also the Ujazdowski Palace. On the back of it you can see a nice viewpoint to Vistula River. The same with Saxon Garden (there is also the Tomb of Unknown Soldier). Nearly you can find Metropolitan building - one of more interesting office building in Warsaw with mini-square inside, and of course: National Theatre and Theatre Square). On the other side of Saxon Garden there is Lubomirski Palace - known for the fact, that after WW2 entire building was rotated for circa 74°. Behind that Palace there are two historical market halls - Hala Gwardii and Hala Mirowska. Hala Gwardii has a nice market inside and it has its original historical form. Hala Mirowska is more like supermarket inside and unfortunately its elevation was rebuild with modern style... Ekh... When you see the both halls, cross the Jan Paweł II Street, and go along Chłodna Street and you will see St. Borromeo Church. Going from Thomb of Unknown Soldier to St. Borromeo Church you go along so called 'Saxon Axis'. Ca 300 years ago that was the baroque urban plan. Today it is not so visible, but near the historical axis there are some nice buildings. When you go to the end of Chłodna Street - you will be in Wola district. So, nearby is Warsaw Uprising Musem. And of course a new Wola skyscrapers quarter (with in my opinion the most beautiful Warsaw skyscraper - Warsaw Spire). If you have time - go to Wilanów District. You can see the modern quarter "Miasteczko Wilanów", which is an example of beautiful modern architecture. There is also a modern Temple of Divine Providence. But the pearl of Wilanów is the Wilanów Palace - a formerly residence of one of the Polish kings - Jan III Sobieski. The beautiful place, although Wilanów is not in City Center (ca. 30-40 min. with public transport). That is my opinion what is worth to be seen in Warsaw. Off course that is not all (eg. there all also beautiful post-idustrial shopping centers like "Powiśle Power Plant", "Norblin Factory", "Warsaw Breweries" or Koneser Center or interesting places like e.g. Museum of Polish Vodka in Praga District), however I know that is not possible to see that all during one journey. 😀 I hope I could help and maybe give you some inspiration. If not for this trip - for future visit!
21:00 Kompot : throw some fruits and sugar into boiling water, cook some time (it depends on fruits), cool and strain... It is water after cooked fruits.😉
You should see the Łazienki Palace and gardens. It is the nicest in Warsaw.
4:48 The left skyscraper with a large antenna is the varso tower. The tallest skyscraper in Poland and the EU. Soon, the highest public observation deck in Poland and Central Europe will be located on the roof of this skyscraper
Thank u guys for this lovely vlog from beautiful Warszawa, as my mother, sister & myselfe are going to visit nxt week

On this beautiful Day the best płace to explore will be gardens Łazienki
people say bad stuff about Warsaw because they wanna be edgy :) don't listen, and enjoy
You must visit Łazienki Palace and Park
You can't go to Warsaw and not visit Warsaw Uprising Museum, this are your eyes to the city as to understand the present you have to know the past. It's tragic and glorious history, most heroic city in the world.
The person what say that Warsaw is boring definitely he don’t know Warsaw and is from outside Warsaw ! Hala Mirowska great place to eat !
Really left ur everyday work lives for this, inspirational stuff 👍🏾🔥
Unless you are wearing soccer jerseys and scarves, you should be perfectly safe on the street. Especially in bigger cities. Troglodytes are engaged in group games in their own group, tourists are completely uninterested in them.

Great video guys🍀🧡keep up the good work 👏
I can say that I like Warsaw very much but I have never been there. I like the nice and cozy, historically rebuilt old town. Which testifies to the old spirit. As well as I like Warsaw skyscrapers which testify to modernity and progress. Warsaw is the largest city in Poland and theoretically there are the greatest opportunities there.

Interesting folks Thank you
A visit to the observation deck of the Palace of Culture and Science should be one of the must-see attractions when visiting Warsaw.
Lazienki Park, preferably just before noon on Sunday. Walk to Agrykola Park for green spaces. Then, Park Mokotowski and SGH nearby. Next day Trakt Krolewski from the top: Old Town and finish at Palac Wilanowski. North of Warsaw: Cytadela is a must. Google search for waterpark and my favourite activity: shooting range at Marymont (must have passport ready) and go-cart in Bemowo Carrefour.
if you’re still in my city you ABSOLUTELY have to go and see the Łazienki Park and Wilanów Palace and Park... additionally, I strongly recommend going to the garden on the roof of Warsaw University Library (Polish abbreviation is BUW), you will be amazed, have fun!🙌

Jeżeli jesteście jeszcze w Warszawie to wejdźcie na Taras Widokowy na dzwonnicy kościoła św. Anny. Widać z niego piękna i unikalna panoramę Wa-wy , gdzie nad starówka wyrastają wielkie szklane wieże… moim zdaniem widok doskonały :). Do tego łazienki królewskie, Zamek i ogrody Wilanów oraz muzeum POLIN, Chopina czy neonów i Centrum Kopernik są obowiązkowe ;). Zjeść i napić się to w Norblinie czy browarach warszawskich ;)

Warsaw is a fantastic city, full of monuments, traces of the former grandeur and very interesting history of Poland, full of museums, galleries, great restaurants and small cafes., with very rich club and cultural life. Here you can see fantastic works of art from all epochs, ranging from antiquity, monuments of technical culture, medicine, related with wars in Europe, and a lot of big parks, considered one of the most beautiful in the world, including Skaryszewski Park (on the National Geographic list of the 3 most beautiful parks in Asia and Europe) and Royal Łazienki Park - an 18th-century park and palace complex, Saski Park - from 17th-century, a beautiful city park, seems to be the world's first public park. Every year, there is a film festival here, included in the 1st League of film festivals in the world (only 5 festivals on it, incl. Cannes and Berlin), the famous Chopin festival, or the festival of contemporary music, highly appreciated in the world for almost 70 years. And those Poles who say that Warsaw is rather boring, they are representatives of a specific group of capital haters, who usually have never even been to it.
Wow, very nice vlog! I’ve been in Warszawa the first time 30 years ago and it’s crazy how it developed. Now I’m 40 years old and have not missed even 1 year to visit it again. It’s an cool and laid back city! But in my opinion Wrocław is the most beautiful city in Poland. 😉 Keep on going! 👍

Everyone has its own taste but I can't understand those bad recommendations about Warsaw that I somteimes hear myself. The thing is that in my opinion one should spend a month in Warsow to even get the basic feeling. Warsaw has so many faces and even few smaller "towns" within itself. It offers variety of things and anyone oriented on big cities should find sth for himself. So many things to chec out and districts with unique atomosphere. Reccomend you to check out Boullivars at Powisle (by Vistula river) near to the centre. As to footbaal holligans 05.08 there's a game in Warsaw. If you will be staying till that time, it would be worth seeing and feeling the atmosphere. kzread.info/dash/bejne/gIWAusSQiq3QorA.html
